Printer memory error

When I try to print an XML Publisher report directly to a printer from the EBusiness Suite, I get the following error:
PDF Status page
PDF file not printed. 128 MB of memory is required to enable direct PDF printing.
Does this mean that I need to increase the memory in my printer? Are printer specifications for XML Publisher documented anywhere?

Yes,
You need to increase your printer memory and make it 128MB (minimum).
Because PDF direct printing is required minimum 128 MB.
Thanks

  • I have a new hp 2050 printer and received a 10.0000 supply memory error message. what does this mean

I have a new hp 2050 printer and received a 10.0000 supply memory error message. Can anyone tell me what this means and how to fix it?

mickeymackey, this error looks similar to a related error code that I found for laserjets. Here is a summation of that error code:
    http://goo.gl/W7dP6
This describes the problem as being a cartridge error, in which case I would follow the instructions in this document and see if that resolves the issue:
    http://goo.gl/h6hWz
that does not resolve the issue, then I would recommend performing a hard reset of the printer. This would involve unplugging the printer for thirty seconds from both the back of the unit as well as from the outlet it is plugged into and then plugging the machine back in and powering it on.
A few additional questions are: Is this printer plugged into a surge protector, wall outlet or battery backup? The ink you are using, are they original HP cartriges or have they been refilled before?
    Let me know!

  • Data merge with football tickets. Printing causes out of memory errors. Can only print 10 at a time!

Here's the deal. Printing football tickets for the local high school. 10 tickets per 8.5 x 11 sheet. All black and white. I couldn't data merge into one whole document of tickets because it was failing to do that. So, I end up with 3 documents. First two have 50 pages of tickets and the last has 37 pages.
When I go to print, I can only print 10 pages at a time or InDesign straight up crashes or I get an "Out of Memory" error which is bull because I've got plenty of ram available (unless it's complaining about lack of HD space for some reason)
    Incredibly frustrating.
Each ticket has 3 images on it. Two of the images are the same. Those two images are about 103kb .ai files. Very very simple. The other image is a TIFF that is about 76kb. So there are 1000 .ai files / document and 500 TIFFs.
Here's a video I took of it ripping: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCjvdmXuaYs&feature=c4-overview&list=UUf_1UFp80YLZJfCyIxXEg kg
Also, when printing, I have the Send Data set to Optimized Subsampling instead of "All". That's not seeming to help.
    Any thoughts?
    IDCS 5.5
    OSX 10.8.4

I just ran a sample on my laptop.
AI file, duplicated, is 284k. Image is roughly 200k. The CSV has 2054 records, and the merged document with 10 per page is 250 megabytes. PDF is just under 50 megs.
This laptop has only 4 gigs memory but has a lot of free disk space. It took a good amount of time to do the merge, a bit longer to create the PDF-X1a PDF.

  • Status:\t10.0000 SUPPLY MEMORY ERROR + cannot install printer

Hi I have an HP Laserjet P1102w printer. I changed my router, and changed my laptop and now am not able to install the printer on the new laptop and router.
I have tried installing from the HP smart install program via USB cable. When i do this I get an error message saying that the installation failed and advising me to turn off the printer, turn it on again and try again.
I have tried resetting the printer to the default settings, then printing a test page and using the supplied IP address to access the printer. An error message says:
    Status: 10.0000 SUPPLY MEMORY ERROR
I have tried ignoring this and going to the HP Smart Install Tab and installing the printer that way. When i did this I get a similar error message to before saying that the installation failed and advising me to turn off the printer, turn it on again and try again.
Could someone please advise me on what to do? Should I focus on trying to get the printer installed, then try to fix the supply memory error or fix the supply memory error and then try to install the printer? I'm a bit loathed to buy a new toner cartridge, if after doing this the printer may still fail to install.
    Thanks in advance,
    Paul

Very good information.  Since this printer is having such a hard time reconnecting try resetting the printer first.  I have provided a link on how to restore this printer to factory defaults. I had a similar problem with this printer until I installed a very recent firmware update.  This is how I finally was able to get it to install and connect:
Clicked on the Software and Drivers tab at www.hp.com/support and typed in my printer name (Laserjet P1102w) and pressed the enter key.  Next I selected my operating system (you will need to know if your computer's system type is 32 bit or 64 bit or I would provide a link).
Under the Driver and Product installation I installed the HP Laserjet Full Feature Software and Drivers and proceeded to install it using the USB to wireless configuration.
After the test page printed, the printer disconnected from the network so with the USB cord still attached, I went to the same download page and installed the most recent firmware update: Version 20130213 which went very well I might add.
Next, I went to the Start button and selected All Programs>>HP>>HP Laserjet Professional P1100 series>>Wireless Configuration and finished getting my printer connected back to my network.
I strongly suggest the firmware update.  I hope this information helps you out.  Try the steps above and if it doesn't work let me know.  I will look at the error message once you are able to get it installed.  It may be that when you restore the printer to factory defaults you will also want to reboot the computer in case you are running low on available memory, hence the error message.

When this error happened before, I restarted my PC(Win 8) and then it was recovered. But now this error happened again. Then I restarted twice. However this error has still happened. How to solve this problem. Shoud I reinstall software again? I checked task manager and check other program. But only this program was working. So memory is very very enough. I don't understand this error. Please let me know how to do.

    Hello mackon29 ,
We'll be happy to help!  There could be a few different printers you are referring to, and just to ensure the most accurate information is provided, we’ll need to know the specific model of the printer you are using.  Please look on the printer itself for the model name (ex. "PIXMA MG" or "PIXMA IP" followed by the numbers that follow.  Once we have this information, we can further assist.  Thanks so much, we look forward to hearing back from you!

My Laser Jet M1212nf MFP still copies, but everytime I try to print or scan a document it doesn't work and it shows a supply memory error on the display. I already tried to switchof and uplug the printer, but the problem still persits. Can anybody help me???

Just fixed this on yet another Laserjet 2600dn....
Remove the affected cartridge. Look at where the chip on the cartridge hits the reader at the rear of the machine. There are two triangular 'wires' which hit the chip.
They should both be raised proud of their mount. In all cases of this error which I have dealt with (I'm a reseller) one or both have been pushed into the mount and are failing to spring out when the cartridge is removed.
This prevents the chip being read.
The solution? Grab them and gently pull them proud again so that the inserted cartrdige makes firm contact with them.
Problem solved! Hope this helps at some people experiencing this issue.

  • Textbox reload for print generates memory error

    Post Author: oaksong
    CA Forum: .NET
I have a subreport which has a lot of textboxes. It's the cover sheet to the report. On the postback for the initial submit I load all the textboxes and the report displays. When I click the print icon on the viewer this fires another post back which attempts to reload the subreport and this generates a memory error on the textbox. The error says I'm attempting to read or write protected memory. I can't understand why a textbox I've already written to would suddenly be protected memory. Has anyone encountered the problem? Is there a way to get the print without rerunning the entire report? The only solution I can see is to write a really ugly sql statement with all the info for the text boxes, there are about 20 of them, tacked onto the front of the sql output.I had intended to use this subreport as the front page for over 25 different reports. This means that I will have to replicate the cover sheet 25 times, which increases the maintenance headache exponentially and I really don't want to go there. tiaChris

  • Memory Error on Card

I have a HP D110a printer and since recently it has been displaying memory card error on the screen. I posted a message on this site and was advise to shut down the printer and unpull for 30 minutes, then pull into a different outlet. Same was done, and memory card error still appeared.  I followed additional instructions and then the printer was set to default.  Now that the printer is set to default setting, memory card error still appears and the printer is disconnected from all computers the printer was connected with. I cannot reinstall the printer because  when the option pops up for me to make the necessary selections on the printer MEMORY CARD ERROR appears.
I need urgent assistance regarding this matter.

  • How to i determine what a 10.10.00 memory error means on a laserjet 3600

    Error message: 10.10.00 memory error
What is this error and what can be done to resolve it.

The minimum point in time is the time when the last backup piece for datafiles in that backup was completed.
Your alert.log should show the redo log sequence number at that time.
You can query V$ARCHIVED_LOG and get the FIRST_CHANGE# of the first archivedlog generated after that backup piece completed.
    A
LIST BACKUP;in RMAN should also show you the SCNs at the time of the backups.
You can also query SCN_TO_TIMESTAMP -- eg
select timestamp_to_scn(to_timestamp('15-MAR-09 09:24:01','DD-MON-RR HH24:MI:SS')) from dual;will return an approximation of the SCN.

  • Cannot generate 4' x 8' banner proof due to Memory Error

    My system info:
    Windows XP
Illustrator CS2 (legit, not bootleg copy)
    2.8 Ghz processor
    2.5 Gigs RAM
C: is 80 Gig with 40 Gigs free
F: is 700 Gig HD with 600Gigs Free
    I designed a 4' x 8' banner from scratch in Illustrator.
The file is 12.6 MB in size.
I want to export the file so I can send to the client to proof.  When I try and export as JPG, PSD or Save for Web, I receive the Out of Memory Error.
The ONLY way around this error that I can figure out is to do a screenprint but sadly, that is a low resolution at 96dpi.  I was really hoping to send him something like a 1024 x 768 image at 300dpi.
I have rebooted my computer to clear the memory and only opened the Illustrator file and still receive the error.
Any suggestions other than Upgrade to Illustrator CS5?  I rarely have clients that need banners created.  I mainly use Illustrator for logo design.
I can probably Resize the image to something much smaller than 4' x 8' and export at that size.  I'll try that in a sec and post my results.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

    Thx everyone...
Wade, I tried to open the illustrator in PS but it is probably going to take an hour to rasterize.  LOL
Craig, yes, I'm working on a 4' x 8' canvas.  I see what you are saying about working with a smaller proportional document.  Let's say I'm finished with the artwork and ready to export as a 4' x 8'.  What is the best way to do that? Would you open it in PS and just set the dimensions and resolution you want it to raster at?  I've never really thought of doing it that way (then again, I've only designed 3 - 4 banners too).
I use GRprint.com for my banners.  I just read on their site, "Banners must be done at actual size. When submitting a rasterized image  please have it at 100 DPI. No bleed is required for banners."  That may help a bit since I don't have to print at 300dpi.  I just opened the Illustrator in PS at 100dpi and it worked great!  That's exactly what I needed.
John, I originally tried that but it goofed up one of the effects I had added.  I even used the "scale stroke and effects" box.
