Printer Memory

Does the HP photosmart 6150 save images of scanned or copied docs to memory? If so, how do we clear the memory before recycling?
This question was solved.
View Solution.

The Photosmart 6150 does not have any internal memory that stores scanned images or copies or print jobs.  If there are any camera cards in the front slot they should be removed.

  • Printer memory error

    When I try to print an XML Publisher report directly to a printer from the EBusiness Suite, I get the following error:
    PDF Status page
    PDF file not printed. 128 MB of memory is required to enable direct PDF printing.
    Does this mean that I need to increase the memory in my printer? Are printer specifications for XML Publisher documented anywhere?

    Yes,
    You need to increase your printer memory and make it 128MB (minimum).
    Because PDF direct printing is required minimum 128 MB.
    Thanks

  • Printer memory question

    I purchased a color laserjet mfp m177fw the other day. It is supposed to have 123 mb ram. In the set up there are only options for 16 or 32 mb. Where is the rest of the ram? The reason I ask is that during printing the printer prints 3 pages and stops fpr about 15 seconds then 2 more until done. I am using Windows 7 with 8 meg of ram. Just wondering if i am missing something.

    Hi @bill-wgm ,
    I see by your post that you want to know how to get more memory. I can help you.
    Please take a look at these two suggestions to try.
    Check in the printer drivers to see if you have the option for this model to increase the printer memory.
    Go to start, devices and printers, right click your printer, left click printer properties, click on Device Settings tab, go down to Installable options, select Printer Memory and from the drop down see what choices you have.
    You can also turn off the Archive Printing on the printer.
    Go to setup, services, archive printing, turn it off.
    If you need further assistance, just let me know.
    Have a nice day!

  • Storing signature in Printer memory and accessing it in the sapscript

    Hi Gurus ,
    I have a requirement to upload signatures on to the printer memory (Its a HP 4250 printer for printing checks) and access the same to print them while printing the checks.
    Please let me know the steps to achieve the following
    1) Uploading the signatures to the printer and in which format - how should this be done.
    2) How to acces the signatures in the printer in the sapscript form
    Thanks
    Rupendra

    The only way that I know of that a signature can be stored directly on a printer is through the use of an add-on simm card.  Please look at OSS Note 18045, it references a company that will create a signature board for your printer.  One of the problems with this is that a new card has to be created if signatures change, we no longer use this method but use either RSTXLDMC to upload TIF images, or we use SE78.
    Thanks

  • Laserjet pro 200 color mfp m276nw stop printing memory low

    laserjet pro 200 color mfp m276nw stops printing giving an error message that the is memory low. How do I clear the memory?

    I have had the same issue, cannot print multiple pages without having the memory low error appear.  I have cleared the faxes from the setting menu. I have done an NVRAM reset and am able to print a 3 page document once and then receive the low memory error when I attempt to print another 3 page document. Please PM me the way to resolve this problem.  Thanks in advance.

  • How to print memory address?

    Hi,
    if an object has a toString() method, how can i print it's memory address?
    thanks!

    The memory address is meaningless and so I don't understand why you need it. However if your question is how you print what the toString() method would have returned if you hadn't overridden it, you could read the API documentation for Object in which it says that Object's toString() returnsgetClass().getName() + '@' + Integer.toHexString(hashCode())Of course if you have overridden hashCode() as well then even this code won't give you that. And by the way the API docs say that hashCode() doesn't necessarily return a memory address. However I suspect you are using this strange question to solve some other problem that could better be solved in a different way.

  • What is stored in 7410 printer memory?

    I am trying to understand two things. 1.) What is stored in the memory of the 7410 all in one; and 2.) does unplugging it clear the memory?.

    The Officejet 7410 memory includes the number of pages printed, scanned and copied (but not any of the actual content).  There is also a fax log that contains information on what numbers have been called (or received from), the duration, the number of pages and the date.
    You can clear the fax memory by resetting the printer - turn off the printer and unplug the power, then plug it back in while holding the # and 6 buttons in.  This will eventually indicate "Semi-full reset" on the screen, release the # and 6 buttins and press OK. After the reset you can press setup, 2, 3 to print a FAX report to verify there is no FAX information left.
    If you are disposing of the printer make sure you also remove any memory cards inserted into the camera card slots in the front.

  • Clear printer memory

    I have a Deskjet 4480 which is great but I cannot figure out how to clear the memory. There has to be a simple way. It's so frustrating when the printer goes on printing stuff that I don't want anymore.
    Thanks for any suggestions.

    For the Deskjet 970  (and perhaps the Deskjet 4480?) there is a cancel button on the printer (the X button).  Pressing this will immediately cancel printing, although the job will continue spooling to the printer.  The reason turning the printer off and back on does not clear the issue is that the document is held in the computer's queue and will be resent when the printer is turned back on.

    if you can detail this +"If the managed bean uses a HashMap to store values then the bean itself can be used to expose an interface for all of what you want it to do. So its an architecture decision to make (which you should do when designing the application)"+
    As of now what i am doing is
        public void printMemoryVariables(){
            logger.info("inside printMemoryVariables");
            AdfFacesContext adfFacesCtx = AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
            // get the PageFlowScope Params
            Map<String, Object> scopePageFlowScopeVar= adfFacesCtx.getPageFlowScope();
            // get the requestScope Params
            Map<String, Object> scopeRequestScopeVar= adfFacesCtx.getViewScope();
            Collection scopePageFlowScopeVarValues = scopePageFlowScopeVar.values();
            Collection scopePageFlowScopeVarKeys = scopePageFlowScopeVar.keySet();
            //obtain an Iterator for Collection
            Iterator itrValues = scopePageFlowScopeVarValues.iterator();
            Iterator itrKeys = scopePageFlowScopeVarKeys.iterator();
            //iterate through HashMap values iterator
            while(itrValues.hasNext() && itrKeys.hasNext()){
                logger.info("Key : " + itrKeys.next() +  "Values: " + itrValues.next());
        }And calling this in the initializer of the taskflow. But is it possible to get the values during the task flow execution

    Best Regards,
    Krish

    Good day,
    As I tried, there are two ways of doing printPreview.
    To handle this problem, add only one page at a time.
    To browse through the page use Prev Page, Nexe Page buttons in the toolbar.
    1) BufferedImage - occupies memory .
    Class PagePreview extends JPanel
    public void paint(Graphics g) {
    g.setColor(getBackground());
    g.fillRect(0, 0, getWidth(), getHeight());
    g.drawImage(m_img, 0, 0, this);
    paintBorder(g);
    This gives better performance, but consumes memory.
    2) getPageGraphics in the preview panel . This occupies less memory, but re-paint the graphics everytime when paint(Graphics g) is called.
    Class PagePreview extends JPanel
    public void paint(Graphics g)
    g.setColor(Color.white);
    RepaintManager currentManager = RepaintManager.currentManager(this);
    currentManager.setDoubleBufferingEnabled(false);
    Graphics2D g2 = scrollPanel.getPageGraphics();
    currentManager.setDoubleBufferingEnabled(true);
    g2.dispose();
    This addresses memory problem, but performance is better.
    Is there any additional info from you?
    Good Luck,
    Kind Regards,
    Krish

  • How do I erase HP80 printer memory

    I've read a lot of posts that indicate that most printers do not have a memory once they are unplug.  Because this printer was used by a doctor, we need to confirm that the same is true for this particular printer.

  • Printing (memory issue)

    I am having printer issue problems at the moment & one possibility is there may not be enough memory available.
    How much memory is required to print?
    Lets say I want to print a simple letter from Word.
    I have just ordered an extra 2GB of RAM which I need anyway but at the moment I only have 512MB.
    My system memory shows that I have roughly between 25MB & 10MB free depending on what is open at the time.
    Should this be enough to print a simple document or do you think that this is where the problem lies?

    It is a HP C5280 brand new, connected with USB cable. Just bought it because my Epson R265 suddenly stopped working after a software update to 10.4.11
    I tried everything to get it to work again, downloading & installing drivers amongst other things but nothing seemed to work, so I went out & got a new printer & still have the same problem.
    Just to add, both printers work fine on my lap top.

  • 2nd hand printer memory

    I purchased a 2nd hand printer. I did not have it connected to my computer yet. When I plugged in the power cord it has the paper command light on. I put in paper, and it cycles the paper and this light will not go out. Is there an internal print command stuck in the printer itself? I have already gone into my computer and cleared the print spool and restarted it. I does not keep pulling paper. I have to press the lite butten and it pulls one sheet of paper.
    I am running Windows 7 and the printer is an HP Deskjet 3820. I have the compatible printer driver (970cse). I had this same printer and I have been using it just fine. The print head quit moving as it used to. I figured it "died" being how old of a printer it was. I had bought this previous one new several years ago.
    Help please?

    I will do my best to assist you with hopefully bringing your printer back to life.  First, I must understand exactly what is wrong.  So, you say that even when the printer is not connected to the computer, you get a blinking light indicating a paper jam perhaps?
    I may not be able to help but I do not mind trying.
    --Blinking Lights--
    Follow this document I have linked above and please verify for me exactly which button you are calling the command light just so I understand.  You may even see the truobleshooting steps in this link to fix this for you.
    Please verify which light is blinking based on the picture in the document and let me know how you have your printer setup now (if it is connected to the computer or not) please.
    I hope I can help!
