Printer missing / skipping documents

HI,
While we are tying to print say 5 Delivery order, only 1 or 2 are getting printed. In the spool, a request is generated but still there is no print out. We tried thru several printers but still the same.
Can any one help in this?

Hi,
Pleasse delete print queue in sp01 transaction and set printer as default as local then try it. If this is working file then delete your printer and re-install again in your system.

Printing - part of document missing

I have been using Pages successfully for months and printing OK to an Epson Stylus CX5000.
I have just changed my printer (to get better photo quality) to a Canon Pixma MP810.
But now when I print existing Pages documents that print out perfectly on the Epson, I get a bit missing.
Specifically - the files are A4 colour pages consisting of 2 columns of black text and one colour photo. Under the colour picture there is a solid rectangle of yellow with a black type caption printing over the top. The solid yellow rectangle prints as 2 thin lines of yellow under the black type. The photo itself and which is on the same page prints perfectly.
If I run a print nozzle test - the test pattern and colour is perfect.
If I copy the solid yellow rectangle and paste it elsewhere on the page - then it doesn't print at all.
If I convert the Pages doc to a PDF - I get the same printed result; the yellow rectangle does not print.
If I create a new Pages document consisting of just 3 solid rectangles of Cyan, Magenta and Yellow - yes you guessed it - the yellow rectangle does not print! BUT if I create the same document in 'Appleworks' - it prints correctly.
On all the Pages document with yellow rectangles that do not print - they show correctly in Print Preview.
Anyone got any idea what is going on here? I have the latest 'Pages' software upgrade installed.

I noticed that your HP Deskjet 1510 is only printing part of a document. I am happy to help!

If you are using a Windows or Mac Operating System, and the version number. To find the exact version, visit this link. Whatsmyos.
If the printer is able to make copies. Copy Text or Mixed Documents.
If you are using Windows, please try the HP Print and Scan Doctor, and please let me know what happens.

How to Print a material document . W#hat all configs/settings do i have to make .
I did the following ....
1. Maintain the Printer Name in SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Printer Setting
2. Ensure that in SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Item Print Indicator, 1 stands for Matl Doc print out
3. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Print Version, maintain Print Version 2
4. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Maintain Print Indicator for GI/Transfer Posting Documents
5. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Output Determination->Maintain Output Types, for the Output types WE01, WE02 and WE03, ensure the foll:
a. Default Values: Dispatch Time is 3 or 4 as per reqmt. and Tr medium is 1
b. Print Parameter is 7
6. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Output Determination->Printer Det->Pr Det by Pl/StoLoc, maintain the Output device for all your Plants
7. Go to MN21, for Tr Type WE, Print Version 3, maintain Print Item as 1.
Now the settings are ready for Printing Material doc
8. While doing MIGO, ensure that in General Tab, you get "3 Collective Slip" beside the Print Indicator and you tick mark the field.
Then i went to MB90 and did the following ...
n MB90 output type is maintained as WE01
Transmission medium as 1
sort order as 01
procesing mode as 1
Material document year 2009
Material document 50xxxxxxxx
Excecute
system says
No messages for initial processing exist
Message no. VN108
Then i select the print icon
enter the output device
press enter
System throws a message " Formatting set to 'X_65_80'"
Sysytem comes to Spool request : Information screen
When i display spool request
The system says list contains no data .
What is missing??
Pls let me know ..

4. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Maintain
Print Indicator for GI/Transfer Posting Documents
As your posting a GR, you need to maintain the settings in :
SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Maintain Print Indicator for Goods Receipt Documents
for 101 movement as 1.
Now post GR & go to MB03, select your document & check in messages tab if the message is generated.
Check & revert.

Officejet Pro L7590 - Printer intermittently skips printing complete lines of black ink.

My Officejet Pro keeps intermittently skipping lines of black ink when I copy or print a document. There appears to be no pattern as to where on a page the line skips printing. When I initially replaced my B/Y printhead, the problem appeared to have stopped and the pages appeared to be printing OK. But after a day or so, when I would print or copy another document, the problem reappears. I have also replaced the black ink cartridge (twice), the problem still exists.
I love this printer because, when it's working, it prints and copies documents with excellent speed and clarity. I don't want to spend another $200+ dollars for a replacement HP printer or an inordinate amount for repair of the existing printer. Any suggestions??

THANKS VERY MUCH. Your suggestion seems to be working.
I was hesitant about replying too soon because I wanted to be sure the problem has been corrected this time.
Initially, I replaced the black ink cartridge (for a second time), but this didn't correct the problem. Next, I replaced the black (B/Y) printhead (for the second time). Now the printer is working just fine.
May be the first replacement printhead was defective, since the second replacement printhead seems to have solved the problem. Fortunately, I was able to get a refund (replacement) for the first printhead.

Printing a pdf document created in Acrobat Pro 9.0

Solved the problem of printing a pdf document created using Acrobat Pro 9.0 with SL - tried many different things form adobe etc and by accident discovered while in Acrobat you have to select ADVANCED in Print then click onto SAVE AS IMAGE in next box and then OK and all prints as it should. Just thought others may want to know this if they have had problems 1

I'm reviewing your post and while I see a fix, I can't locate the problem that you may have originally posted. Since I'm having issues, I'm hoping your's were the same.
Sometimes when I print an Adobe Acrobat 9.0 document, most of the printed word fail to print out (although they are in the PDF document). Almost all graphical elements print and the occasional line of text--but most text is missing. Was ti your issue?

Acrobat X pro pdf printer missing/ puzzle re forum fixes

Licensed Acrobat X pro installed; but no pdf printer.
Attempted workaround

Solution 2 --Uninstall and reinstall: I installed as part of CS5.5...do I have to unistall entire or just Acrobat?

Manually install the PDF Printer
Click Start > Control Panel > Devices and Printers
Select Add a printer
Select Add a local printer
Check Use an existing port and select Documents\*.pdf (Adobe PDF) from the drop down. Click Next
[No such file on 'existing port.' attempted using NITRO pdf which came with this new lenovo machine [but never availbale and not installed --jst recommended, although this file exists < NitroPDF Port: (local port) > which I attempt]
Click the Have Disk… button
Click the Browse… button

[Once I hit 'test' print it states < Windows cannot find 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 11.0\Acrobat\Acrotray.exe'.
BUT i'm not using Acrobat 11.0!

I just figured this out--
I installed updates in the Help tab, and the files required, including pdf printer were installed.
Works!
I realize that this is a gen behind in software but I am running legacy large format printers and the newest is not the best in this application.

PDF printing Missing installed prnters

We're starting to see an issue where a machine will have several printers installed people can print to any of then from word, excel, Chrome etc but for PDF's only one or sometime none show up in the drop down for the list of printers. We're using adobe
reader but I've installed Foxit on one I'm testing and it doesn't show any printers installed either. Its not all users. I can;t find a reason PDF docs by whatever viewer wouldn't see the installed Printers

I can access a website and select the 'print' option but the print misses out

I can access a website and select the 'print' option but the print misses out photos that should be included in the print. It happens on more than one website. If I use Explorer it doesn't happen. I guess there must be a setting or something that I have not found? Any help very gratefully received. Than you.

I don't know if this will help, but I found it by accident. When I send Word projects to recipients, it doesn't always read properly depending on their format. If they have a PC It distortes my program, or they may have newer versions of Word. If you have your document showing select 'print' and on my print menu at the bottom left corner it has a button that says 'PDF'. Click on that and it gives you several options for a PDF. What I do if I'm emailing to someone is select the email option then you can always print from the email. Hope that helps.

Print a KM document displayed in the portal

Hi Experts,
I'm implementing ESS MSS for a client and I was asked to add an iview in the same page as Address to inform employees which other companies/phone provider.. they should inform when they change their address.
I added a KM document with the different addresses they should contact and displayed on the right on the screen like they asked.
Now they want to add a print button in order to print this KM document directly from the portal, I suggested the 'by default' browser's print clicking in the right button but they refuse (because the page is printed and not only the KM iview), they want to have a seperate button to print just the KM document.
Any suggestion guys?

In this case nothing to do with the KM Document iview.
You need to write your custom code in the KM document for getting the print button and print functionality.

I'm trying to print an Ancestry document from an iPad 2 using air print onto a Canon 5350 (one of the printers ok'd by Apple) I am unable to change the print orientation from portrait to landscape. That is I change it in printer settings but no use.

How do i stop my HP Officejet 6700 Premium from printing a history report page before printing each new document, using Windows 7 & Using Microsoft Word? When I open a document and print it, it prints a history including: File Name; Directory; Template; Title; Subject; Keywords; Comments; creation Date; Change Number; Last Saved On; Last Saved By; Total Editing; Last Printed On; As of Last Printing....
Everything worked perfectly for a year, then I had to reinstall the printer because I deleted it by mistake. I cary it with me when I travel to meetings and didn't have my install disk, so I had to download the install software. I haven't changed any settings in Word, but it appears that the report is generated from Word.
Help will be appreciated. I can't find any other topic like mine to see an already presented solution.

The report indeed being generated by Word and not by the pritner driver.
As you did not clarify your MS Office version I included the steps for Word 2010, I believe the same should also apply for Word 2007:
From Word click the File menu, then select Options.
Select Display from the left pane.
Under the Printing Options sections, uncheck the box next to Print document properties.
Click OK and try printing again.
If you cannot find the specific option, please clarify your exact Microsoft Wiord version.

This is usually a function of the driver you're using. Have you looked in the various PDEs for black and white or grayscale? What kind of printer are you using?

How do I lift a picture in a document to print it without printing the entire document, and when I ask it to print at 400%, how do I get it to tell me how many pages there are and what is on them

I have a pix of a quilt in a document. I would like to print the page of the document at 400% to enable me to see the quilt better. When I go to effects and put in my percent, it prints the entire document and will not allow me to move to other pages. It says its p1 of 1. I am taking a class for making this quilt. I need this pix for the class.

Why can't I print a PDF document?

when trying to print a PDF document I get the error message " unable to print document". Sometimes also includes "No pages are selected''.
I'm using an HP laptop and OS Windows 7.
I have tried selecting all document,and printing it as image, I have checked that there are no security locks on the document. I have been through the forum several times searching for answers and still I cannot print a PDF.
Advice please on what other steps I can take.

Many thanks for the helpful suggestions. . Sean Mitchell's suggestion of
repairing Adobe reader via the help menu did the trick. I have been able to
print several PDF documents after following his suggestion.
