Printer officejet 4500 G510-m only prints the test page

What can I do?!?!?!?
the same problem here, although I have two laptops, one of them with windows 7 and everything is works great, made a full installation of the printer app, while on the second laptop with windows xp pro, the printer doesn't work.
Tried to install the full pack and tried the minimal one, didn't work in no one of these states.
the sole thing it can print from the win xp laptop is the test page from the printer configuration window..

What operating system?

How can I print Double A4 with HP Officejet 6500? I only get the first page...

I try to print a large photo in "landscape" Double A4 with my HP Officejet 6500.
I can select "Double A4" to print but I only get the first page. So I only have half a photo.
What should I do?

You can not attach a multi-page .pdf document to Pages.
Just create a folder in which you enclose both your Pages letter and the .pdf.

How to print grandtotal in table footer only in the last page in SMARTFORMS

How do I print the GRANDTOTAL in the table footer only on the LAST PAGE in SMARTFORMS.
What I have done is in the text element of CELL1 of the table footer i wrote the folowing logic but not working.
/: IF &SFSY-PAGE& EQ &SFSY-FORMPAGES&.
* V_SUM.
/: ENDIF.
I even tried this.
/: IF &NEXT-PAGE& EQ 0.
* V_SUM.
/: ENDIF.
but still it displays the grand total on all pages at table footer.
How do i go for this experts.

HI Nambiar,
To print the grand total only on the last page then create the secondary window --> create the text node for the grand total -->In the condition tab check only after the end of the main window.
This grand total will be displayed after all the items and end of the main window.
Footer in the table displays as the subtotals i.e on every page total is displayed..

In the Print dialog, select the Color Matching tab and then select Vendor Matching.

HP Officejet 4500 All-in-One Printer - G510g installation windows 8.1 64bit

After operating a HP Officejet 4500 All-in-One Printer - G510g from both an old Windows XP notebook and from an ASUS Windows 8, 64bit laptop, subsequently updated to 8.1; I'm now trying to install it to run from a Toshiba Satellite NB10T-A notebook Windows 8.1 64bit, but without success.
The original installation CD does not provide an installation but on start up (presumably because it is only compatible with Windows XP and 7.
The www.hp.com site offers a download of a full driver for the printer, forWindows 8.162bit. This seems to download fine. The file unpacks, says it is installing, but on completion the driver is not available.
There are no options to uninstall, either in control panel/printers or in control panel/software.
Without the driver, the Windows 8.1 system recognises the printer and allows simple printing ffrom applications. However, it is not possible to use the scan options, giving the error message that the driver is not available. Neither HP Solution Center or HP Document Manager are installed.
I have tried HP Print and Scan Doctor. This recognises the printer on USB link, says that there are missing drivers, downloads, unpacks and installs drivers. But the printer icon in control panel/printers continues to have an alarm icon and indicates that the printer is still missing drivers.
I have also tried the HP Printer Installation Wizard. The result is similar.
Please advise how I can install the scan options of this equipment and confirm that the machine is compatible with windows 8.1 64bit.

Hello @monc , welcome to the HP forums!
I read through your post about how you cannot scan on your Windows 8.1 computer as the driver and software doesn't seem to be completing successfully on your system. However, you have been able to install the printer and its functioning fine on other computers.
I would suggest checking the Control Panel to see if there are any printer files to uninstall: Uninstalling the Printer Software
Restart the PC afterwards
Perform a Clean Boot
Restart the PC again
Download and install the printer again: HP Officejet Full Feature Software and Driver
If you see any error messages or codes during the installation process, make note of the exact problem or error and post me back a screen shot or the details.

HP Officejet 4500-G510a won't print in color but no error msg shown

I was printing in color when my tri-color cartridge ran out of ink. I installed a new HP 901 tri-color cartridge, aligned it and resumed printing, but only black and white was printed. I removed the cartridge and reinserted it, realigned it and tried again - same result. I powered off the printer and laptop and restarted - same result. Tried copying in color - same black and white result. Tried cleaning the print cartridges but no change. HP Solution Centre shows the color cartridge is full. HP laptop is running Win7. Any clues please? Yes I removed the protective strip

HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus only printing blank pages

Hi, My HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus currently only prints blank pages.I've gone through the following troubleshooting steps-Soft reset-Hard reset-3 levels of print head cleaning-Replacing ink When I try to realign the print head, an error pops up saying that there may be a jam, but I cannot see anything blocking it... Anytime I try to print in Firefox a Microsoft KB article that is 1 page, I always only get the first page.

Anytime I print any Microsoft KB article, I only get the first page worth of text. This is very troubling because the articles are typically long, and I only get 1 page. The second page always comes out blank (even though in IE it will print out multiple pages with all the text).
My specific example today is listed in the URL below. This example will only print to the "DIR" command, I don't get the full page printed out.
Anyone else have this problem? Anyone have a resolution? I hate having to hit up IE just to print a single article.
I updated to FF 8.01 just to make sure, and I have tried different printers and even computers, to no avail. Even the print preview has the issue, only the first page worth of text is printed and the second page is always blank (even if there are 3, 4, 5, etc pages of data to be printed).
I have also tried the Firefox Menu -> Print command, and the "on-page" print command. I have seen moderate success with highlighting all the text that I want to print and going to "Print-Selection" but it is ugly.
Any feedback or assistance is greatly appreciated.

Figured it out. It had nothing to do with the software levels of Safari or Adobe Acrobat. Here's the fix:
Open Finder/Applications
Search "Internet Plug-Ins"
Move any Adobe plug-ins to the trash
Quit Safari
Launch Safari
Your pdf document should now render in Print Preview and print properly.

Sapscript bottom text in Main, just for the last page, but printing only in the last page

I need to print a text but only for the last page in the main window.
I have tried with IF.
IF &PAGE& = &SAPSCRIPT-FORMPAGES&
BOTTOM
....TEXT
ENDBOTTOM
ENDIF
But it prints in all pages in every main window.
Can someone point me what I am doing wrong or how can I do this?

Hello Carlos,
the problem with this condition is the following.
The Sapscript composer cannot know during the processing of e.g. the first page,
how many pages will follow. So &SAPSCRIPT-FORMPAGES& still contains the same
value like& PAGE& and is filled with the correct values only at the very end of the processing.
(when the total number of pages is known).
So I suggest you to use the BOTTOM command in the print program,
when the processing of all item of the MAIN window is ended.
There is an other variable &NEXTPAGE&. &NEXTPAGE& will always be 0
when it reaches to last page to print. The problem with this variable that
it can not be used in a condition in MAIN window too, only in a separate page window.

I know how to do this in Smart Forms , but being a novice in adobe forms i am unable to get the exact place to puth these conditions.

If you have not already done so, your chances will really improve if you....
1) Connect the printer to the USB port on the AirPort Extreme
2) Download and install Bonjour Print Services for Windows on the PC

iPhoto has no idea of what paper is being printed - that is totally a function of the printer and the print driver supplied with the printer - you need to look at the printer specific options and your printer manual and/or support forums
