Printer prining emails with small fonts.
I have a 1st generation power pc mac mini. I am operating Tiger 10.4.11. When I print emails, the font size is very small. Printing off the web or any other software, the font size is normal. How do I increase the font size on my emails when I print?
Thanks,
I did try your suggestion. I have resolved my issue. When selecting print, there is a option that says copies and pages. I opened that window and selected mail. After selecting mail, I selected keep the same apparent font size. Not sure how it was originally changed, but I suspect one of my three kids were playing around.
Thanks for the help.

Dear All,
We are facing a strange behavior of adobe form.
we made form for SAP CRM which is printing in 132 column(28cm * 33cm) sheet. what we are observing is, first page is printing perfectly on the pre printed Invoice sheet but if invoice has more items to be displayed then second page prints with small font size or you can say second page seems to be zoomed out to smaller page size. In Preview Second page onwards also looks perfect. Now we are in a fix what to do to come out of this issue.
efforts made:-
Adobe Page Size Adjusted.
Select paper Source by Page Size ticked in Adobe form properties
But still result is non satisfactory. Please Help.

b) Does all pages of the PDF are of same size? YES
c) What is the page size set in the Printer and what is the actual size of the paper which you have put in the tray? LETTER
d) Does this problem also happens on the virtual printer which you might have on your system (Try either Microsoft MPS Document writer or Adobe PDF Printer) No VIRTUAL PRINTERS

Trying to print off email with Epson iprint
I am experiencing difficulty printing my emails with Epson iprint. It keeps showing that it cannot find my printer.
any help i would appreciateI, too, have just heard from an end user about problems when printing a completed form with checkboxes. She uses Acrobat 8 standard. I originally created the forms in Acrobat 8 Pro (have upgraded to 9 and now at X on Windows XP).
What's troubling is she can see the form properly completed on screen, but then sometimes the "checked" checkboxes print but most of the time they do not.
I've seen references in different online sources to font issues too, possibly an old printer drive ... bottomline I need to provide an answer for her so any comments will be most appreciated.
Thank you. -

I have requirement to print an email with link like mailto: ...at...com
I created a hyper link in my text element which created a <%W> ... </> tag. this message in this text element will be sent as a body of an email. I want to know to do the link like I mentioned above. Please let me know this is not clear.

This is smartform, and sending the output as pdf, except the the first page on which I have the text to be printed on the email body. In this email body text I have to display an email.
when user clicks on the email should open an outlook with the email id in the TO. Hope this helps.

New printer prints texts in very small font
This is an HP Photosmart c4650. I have correctly installed (and at the suggestion of an HP tech, uninstalled and reinstalled) the software that came with the printer. The scan and copy functions are fine. And the print quality is also good. The issue is that everything that prints out is in a super small font (maybe 7). This is true whether I am trying to print from a word, notepad, or web document. HP has been unable to resolve this. Any help would be appreciated.
Can you try the steps in the document and see if it helps:

Can't print PDF file with "Technical" font
Having a problem here. Any PDF file I get that includes the font "Technical" will not print on my HP laserjet. It displays perfectly, but won't print at all. I do have "Technical.ttf" and "Technical_Italic.ttf" in Library->Fonts folder, and they show up as installed in Font Book under both "All Fonts" and "Computer." No font conflict shows. Anyone have any ideas what the problem could be? Thanks!
First of all, you should check the font with Font Book to see that it is not damaged. Also, try printing a document which is not a pdf using that font. Then try printing the pdf with both Preview and Adobe Reader, with both the normal and print as image options for the latter. (I am trying to cover all possibilities here, but you did not include much information about what you tried and how it did not work.)

Print an email with the "to:" field?
I get emails from my kids band teacher - and the email is sent to about 200 people. When I print the emails it puts all those email address at the top (the whole to: from: lines, etc.). Is there anyway, using Apple Mail, to only print the body of the email and not that header info?
ThanksUse this sequence:
Menu Mail / Preferences / Viewing / Show header detail / None
Personally, I think that should have been an option under Mail's "View" menu. -
How to print an email with the full name of the attachment ?

Dreamweaver CS3 problem with small fonts
Hello,
I am having a problem with text appearing
REALLY SMALL and unreadable in CS3, when it looked fine in
Dw8. It also looks fine in in all browsers.
I talked to Adobe tech support, and they said something about
my CSS file not being correct. I looked at it, and nothing seems
out of the ordinary.
If it was a problem with my CSS file, wouldn't it look bad in
the browser as well?
Any suggestions?
RonRon,
Thanks for the sample file. This is a bit complicated, so
please bear
with me.
Up until DW8, DW rendering always targeted the most popular
browser at
that time. For DW8, that was IE6. Traditionally, the most
popular
browser was the most popular because it was the best browser,
but that
no longer holds true. So, DW CS3 now targets CSS 2.1. Note
that DW does
not support all of the CSS 2.1 spec, but what it does support
follows
the spec.
Your page does not have a DOCTYPE, so it renders in "quirks"
mode in the
browsers that I tested it in on WinXP (FF2, IE7, Opera9). DW
renders
this page in IE6 quirks mode, but DW CS3 no longer supports
quirks mode.
Put a DOCTYPE such as the following in your page to see what
I mean:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01
Transitional//EN"
http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">
The reason that the font is so small is because of the
font-size
property in this rule:
TD {
FONT-SIZE: 80%;
Your page has tables nested 4 levels deep, so the 80% is
compounded at
each level. I fixed this in DW CS3 by creating a style sheet
with this rule:
TD { FONT-SIZE: 100% !important; }
and the applied it as a Design-time Style Sheet, although you
may be
able to remove the 80% altogether.
Hope this helps,
Randy

Printing sent email with attachment(s)
When I print a sent email that had included an attachment(s), the printed copy does not show the reference file details of that attachment. How do I adjust the print settings so that I have printed evidence that the attached file(s) has been included in the sent email?
Solved!
Go to Solution. As we are going down that road, it occurred to me that an email account using IMAP (as per http://community.bt.com/t5/Other-BB-Queries/BT-mail-IMAP-and-Thunderbird/m-p/142791#M2418 ) might allow you to get copies of your old sent messages onto your computer so you could print the old ones as well as the new. But IMAP can be a bit fiddly to set up sometimes. IMAP, when working well, should enable you to use either the email client or the webmail interchangeably.

When I receive an email that has a background color, which I want to print, the background color also prints. I do not the background color to print. How do I stop this?
See this bug report:
*[https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=683139 bug 683139] - Using the 'High Contrast Black' 'Accessibility Option' in Win XP results in the screen colours being printed.

How do I fix Maverick Mail printing smaller font?
I just upgraded to a new MacBook Pro with Retina screen running Mavericks 10.9.1. Restored my stuff from Time Machine Backup of my old MacBook.
I discovered that Maverick Mail is printing all emails in smaller size than what they are written. 12 point Helvita looks like 8 point, or less, when printed from the Maverick Mail on a laser printer, also connected to my wife's iMac. Printing the same emails from the iMac, running Lion, prints in accurate 12 point size. I have printed other documents from my Mavericks MacBook, i.e. PDF's that I created on the old MacBook. Those documents print in original size. So, problem is with Maverick Mail.
For some reason, Mail is reducing the print size of the emails, no matter if the email is going to the printer or printed to a PDF file. The font size is reduced.
I have seen that others have had a similar problem with Maverick Mail.
Has anyone found a fix? Or do we have to wait for the Apple geniuses to get around to findiing their mistakes in Mail?Keep the Powerbutton and the Homebutton pressed at the same time until you see the Apple logo on your screen.

How to keep alignment in Windows LARGE and SMALL fonts
For years, I fought with LabVIEW, trying to keep things looking decent in both Windows LARGE and SMALL font sizes.
By this, I mean Settings - Control Panels - Display - Settings - Advanced - General - Font Size
I love to use large fonts - I run my display at 1600x1200 and it just looks better.
But if you plop an indicator on a panel in LARGE fonts, save it, then open it with SMALL fonts in effect, it looks horrible.
N.I. Doesn't care about this - just look at how ugly their own examples get when viewed in LARGE fonts.
So I developed a method to make the bottom of the label text line up with the bottom of the numerical text, whether in LARGE fonts or SMALL.
Click here for examples. Basically, I turn OFF the SIZE to TEXT attribute and right-justify the label (if on the left of the numeric).
This works OK, except I have just discovered that it depends on the text being the default size.
If I have a 17-pt numeric with a 17-point label, then they both appear as 13-pt when I switch to SMALL fonts - great -- they're still aligned.
But if I have a 17-point numeric with a 16-pt label, when I switch to SMALL, the numeric shrinks to 13, but the label stays at 16, and is thus vertically misaligned with the numeric.
So how can I have a 17-pt numeric with a 13-pt label, and have them BOTH shrink when I switch to SMALL fonts?
I suppose I could use property nodes, and detect the switch myself, but I have 50+ of these on a single VI to do - that would be ugly to watch the labels jumping around.
I suppose I could have two VIs - one for LARGE fonts and one for SMALL, but I don't want to duplicate th
e code.
Any other ideas?

Blog for (mostly LabVIEW) programmers: Tips And TricksIt is true that we don't have a
solution. It isn't that we don't care, but the solution choices stink.
Well, I'll stand by my opinion that N.I. doesn't care - when using the default app font, there *-IS-* a solution - the link in my original post points to a page that I show my employees on how to solve the problem. It is solvable, for the case of using the default font and size. Yet N.I. uses the default font and size, but LOOK HOW THEIR EXAMPLES APPEAR (see attached files). This is how the example software looks, out of the box. These are not ancient examples, either.
It is NOT my opinion that, because there apparently is no solution for non-standard sizes, the stuff looking ugly is NI's fault.
But when a solution DOES exist for standard sizes, why they don't apply it is beyond me. Even some of the LabVIEW dialogs suffer from this.

Sending email with 1-2 MB attachment
Why sending email with small attachment in iPad IOS7 feels like waiting for a flight delay without announcement ?
Very embarrassing for Apple to missed this issue....
Internet connection is fine, but email could not get through the outbox.... Oh my God...Hey,
Many people have expirienced this...
The problem for most people were their, internet connection, or their device.
This might not work, for some people.
I would recommend holding down the power button and the home button until the apple logo shows up.
Then you can open mail and send your attachment, hopefully.
If that was successfull, have a good evening!
