Printer prints but display says Communication lost (device - control panel); Turn off then on.
HP Color LaserJet CM3530fs
The printer is printing when asked to do so by a computer but the display says:
Error
Communication lost (device <-> control panel); Turn off then on.
The orange attention light is illuminated and the display is always lit and shows the statement above.
It does not improve when switched off and on or power disconnected for long periods or pushing reset button at rear of unit.
Embedded web server works normally and thinks that all is ok.
Buttons on control panel do nothing. eg. I cannot photocopy or scan.
The printer is about 2 years old but gets very light use in a family home.

Check Box functionally lost when visiblity is turned off then back on
Please pardon my attempt to ask a coherent question for I am new to Oracle Forms!
I have created a canvas using the layout wizard against an Oracle table. I needed to provide the means to select mulitple records for DELETION; so, I created a check box item beside the database items to allow the ability to select records to delete. I also allow the user to query this table in query mode against a couple of columns to help isolate records to be deleted. So far, I have gotten the expected functionality from the check box on the initial query of this form.
Now, heres my problem!
When I try to reduce the query result while in "ENTER_QUERY" (F7) mode, I intentionally make my check box item invisible. The thought being "I should not allow users opportunity select records for deletion while in the process of querying the table to fetch the records you will be deleting from!" Once I press F8 to execute the my query, I issue the following statements in my KEY-EXEQRY trigger:
set_item_property( 'EFIS_EMAIL_QUEUE.SELECTTODELETE', VISIBLE, PROPERTY_TRUE );
set_item_property( 'EFIS_EMAIL_QUEUE.SELECTTODELETE', ENABLED, PROPERTY_TRUE );
My results are displayed along with the check box to select records for deletion!
At thsi point, the functionally of the check box no longer works!
I get a forms error "(FRM-40200) Field is protected against update."
I look in the Property Palette under the Physical section and the Visible attribute is set to "Yes"!
Can someone tell me why turning the visible attribute "OFF*" and then back "*ON*" caused the lost functionity?*
What must I do to get this functionally back without abandoning this design premise?+
Is there some other attribute settings I must reset in addition to the two set_item_property issued above?+

What exactly is the error?
And, we'd need some info re. your Mac model and OS version - you are not running iOS on it.
You need to realize that this model has been discontinued and the last driver updates are dated about a year ago. If you are running Mavericks, there may not be an updated driver for it. But you can try to delete the printer and add it again to see if that will work. -

HP Photosmart prints with PC, Droid phone but will only print wirelessly with MacBook OX 10.7.5 if I turn off printer and turn it back on. HP has tried, Belkin (router) has opened all ports, the problem persists.

3rd gen iPod Nano will not sync with latest version of iTunes on new laptop. It passes the connectivity test but not the sync test under diagnostics. Worked fine on old Windows 7 laptop but not new one. From Control Panel it shows up as an Apple iPod USB Device...
Never mind, I think. I think I figured it out. There was 1 song (out of > 900!) that somehow had been purchased with the other ID - I have no idea how. Once I deleted that song, it stopped asking.
There may be something with the newest iTunes version too. I didn't think in older versions that the "On this iPod" list of songs was greyed out. But at least it syncs ok. -

When I go to post on a google blog and it asks me to sign in, I get a message that says that my cookies fuctionality is turned off, but when I go to firefox, to preferences and privacy, "accept cookies from sites until they expire" is checked. iPhones do not have international warranties. The only place in which you can get Apple service on your phones would be Hong Kong. Unless you have AppleCare, neither of these phones is under warranty. It is likely that the best Apple could offer you is an out-of-warranty replacement. -

Device control panel message fading
the menu on the device control panel of my HP 6500 all-in-one is disappearing. You can tell the selections are appearing, however, I just can't read them and I don't know all of the steps by heart. I've tried restarting, unplugging, everything. Nothing jogs it back to working order.
after researching numerous posts with this same problem and trying a couple of suggested corrective tips, an HP expert said the only thing left to do was to replace the printer. That sucks but I'm still using it anyway. It's just real inconvenient.

Help!yeah right, in previous firmware there was an option to go full screen manually, but now when page loading completes, it goes automatically full screen, and according to my experience it can't be turned off, we have no option but to click the Arrow button in corner to get back to normal screen.

i was using my ipad it was under 10% but no under 4% it turned off then i pluged the charger in and flashed on then showed apple sign after i turned it on. now its going back and forth from the apple sign and battery symbol ive changed chargers its made no differnce its been like 3 hours ive tried to do that reset thing holding lock button and home button for 10 seconds at the same time. WHAT DO I DO?Could be the charger, cable or iPad. Plug the USB cable into your computer. It may say "Not Charging", however, it is charging slowly and will verify that the cable is good.
Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W (5W on Mini) USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (2.5W, most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.
