Printer selection failed. Restoring the previous selection

Dear all,
i'm working on a 36 pages broshure and after i printed the document using AdobePdf engine, and messing with options, suddenly I cannot print on paper. Every time I'm sent back to PostScript option and I get the above error message. i think is something related with PPD but I'm relatively new to in design and I'm afraid I broke something.
Any suggestions are welcomed.

I've managed to resolve the problem by simply rebooting the PC. Thank God it was so simple.
Finally I created a print preset and then printed to Adobe PDF. Project is on its way to priting house

Sometimes when I'm printing in InDesign CS3 the default printer is PostScript and when trying to change it the error "Printer selection failed. Restoring the previous selection." appears.
It´s the same error as in this unsolved old thread:

Does anyone have a solution to this?

What is the OS? CS3 was not tested on recent OS versions and may not be fully functional. You can export to PDF and print that from Acrobat or Reader.

Problem: Recently when I open iTunes it doesn't work; the little pinwheel just keeps spinning.

You need to be updated to iTunes 11.2.2.
You might want to consider running the combo updater over your install to refresh your files.

After running the combo updater, select Software Updater and update iTunes.
If iTunes fails to open after updating, hold down the Option key when launching iTunes. It will ask you to locate your iTunes Library.
Note: I've seen users with their iTunes Library on an external drive spin like this when the drive was failed to be seen in Disk Utility. Run Repair Drive on the external drive to fix this issue.

The sync/auto sync button should only display when you have multiple images selected. But after reading your question I went into Lightroom to confirm that. And it seems that the button is kind of "sticky". After having multiple images selected and then deselected, I had to move between images a few times before the "Previous" button returned. I've only checked it briefly.
Later: just tried it again, and it isn't sticky anymore. Must've been a momentary glitch.

I bought many apps from iTunes at the end of last year, and then my computer had got problem that I had to format and reinstall everything.
I just want to know how can I restore the previously bought apps once if I forgot to backup any of my files on the computer??

FYI: At that time I was using iPad 1 and the OS was still 3.1.x. Now I am using iPhone 4 and would like to restore the apps at least those that are compatible to my phone.

I would like to restore the previous version of an iphone APP. I hate the new version. I deleted the new version of the app on my Iphone 4 and also on Itunes. I use windows 7 pro. Is there a way to get the previous version of that app? I use Itunes 11, which is the newest version I believe. I have done several backups this year and last year, if that helps. But I am not sure if the app was backed up as well. I know where the back ups are store in my computer. I dont know much about Itunes, can someone help please?

If you have the older version in your recycle bin, or one of your backups, delete the current version of the .ipa file, then paste in a copy of the old one. In iTunes go to the apps section of your library and attempt to Get Info for the app in question. Normally the two versions will have slightly different file names so iTunes may ask you to locate the file, do so. On your device delete the copy of the app, then sync with iTunes. You'll need to disable all forms of automatic updating, and will lose any settings and data associated with the app.
Hmm, offhand I can't recall if automatic updating in iOS 7 is optional. Check that first.

That concept is: The drive on the desktop is an Icon. Like any other icon, including Files and Folders, it can be renamed by clicking on the name and re-typing a name, or using GetInfo and typing in the larger and more convenient name-box. My version of firefox has automatically upgraded to the latest version (couldn't even tell you which that is because I don't know where to find the about firefox info), and I don't like the user interface. I don't have the time to get to grips with a whole new way of working and am perfectly happy with the older interface as I knew where everything was. How do I revert back to the previous version? (As a suggestion, perhaps it would be better to ask people if they want to upgrade or at least give them the option of rejecting the upgrade after trying it, instead of making wholesale enforced permanent upgrades!)

No more metadata...
So I lost the major interest of my IPad when I go abroad...
