Printer to www connection failure.

Question

Hi I am having a problem connecting my printer to the www for device updates and to send ink status to hp connected.
It has been working fine and now it fails. It has had no changesd made to either the router settings network as a whole or the printer. it simply stopped working.
On the printer dispaly screen I see: a triangle followed by "Installed Ink. Press OK to connect printer to update status." (I must choose Dismiss or connect - I select connect)
The screen then goes to a moving striped bar and says "Connecting.."
This after a couple minutes then changes too... A third screen this time it a triangle along the top of the screen followed by "Connection Error".
Below this it says on screen... "The printer could not connect to the server. Check the internet connection or the proxy setting." (then I am to choose "Retry" or Dismiss") I sellect Retry
Three times of retry and the same thing every time.

Thanks Mark, I was begining to think the same thing, HP Web Service Down.... I've since reset to factory default my entire home network consisting of TV's (x3) Mobile phones (x5) Tablets (x5) Laptops (x3) Desktops (x2) Printer (x1) and to be certain i reset the printer to factory default too and set the whole thing up again from scratch.
All devices working fine network  and internet connection in tip-top order at 50Mbs. Re-connected the reset printer to the network and fine so far as working but the problem still remains with "UNABLE TO CONNECT TO WEB SERVER."
Com'on HP.... At least have the decency to update customers and tell them your server is down via one of you many other web portal domain names.
A simple Server health Indicator would be enough Red, Amber, Green Light Signal System for how it's doing, so we can at least rule out You or Us.
