Printer used to work via airport and now it doesn't

I have an imac and a macbook on 10.4.11. Recently I had to upgrade my AT&T modem because they said it was outdated. After installation of the modem, I can no longer get my HP 3310 to print.
I've tried re-setting up the printer via its Wireless Setup Wizard. I then tried to get the imac to recognize it but it will not. I then went on line and after uninstalling the old HP driver, installed
a new one and that didn't work either. On the macbook where no prefs were changed, the HP 3310 shows up in the printer window but when I try to print it just chugs away and eventually says, "printer stopped".
I've trashed the HP prefs in the library and restarted the imac to no avail as well. Does anyone
know what would cause this to happen once a new modem is installed? I'm assuming it's modem related but have no idea how to fix it. In addition, AT&T says since it's not the printer and airport are not their equipment, they can't help me.
ANY ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Printer won't work via Airport
I bought a Canon MF4550d Printer which works fine via USB, but not at all via airport extreme with my MacBook Pro from 2008. All my other printers work fine via airport extreme. Canon support checked everything they could, installations are correct. They referred me to apple but my support there has run out. Any idea? Many thanks!
That's the problem. You've configured a printer to use the USB port of your computer and moved the printer. So when you print, your computer says to itself, "Time to print to the USB port.....hm can't find it."
What you'll have to do (assuming the printer supports network printing) is to configure the printer now that it is connected to the base station. Go to the Print & Scan control panel of System Preferences and see if you can add the printer now that it is connected to the base station. Then when you print, select that printer. (To avoid confusion you may want to start by deleting the configuration that already exists.) -
Transparency worked...and now it doesn't following the same instructions

My goal is to take a simple animated movie with a single character on a green screen (using the Xtranormal site, actually), make the green screen transparent, and export as a SWF file.
The method I'm using is as follows:

Go to the Render QUeue, beside output module, click the dropdown and choose FLV with Alpha (this is CS5). Once you do that, click the FLV with Alpha link, and make sure that in the Video output section, it says On2VP6 under Format Options. Click OK. Then Click Render."
3. Export the movie as a SWF file.
I follow these instructions and the background exports as green instead of transparent (even thought it looks fine while still in After Effects). The kicker is that I have used these instructions successfully five or six times before, out of nowhere, the transparency stops working. I admit I am extremely new to After Effects, so my first thought was to restore all of After Effects settings to the default, in case I accidentily clicked something or changed something, since the first handful of successful runs. I did this using the Ctrl+Alt+Shift on start-up method and it seemed to work. Didn't fix the transparency issue though.
Anything I'm missing? Anything I should make sure I'm doing? I'm at a total loss! Thank you!!!But do you actually enable transparency blending by setting the proper flags/ Flashvars when embedding the SWF in the page? By default, all such stuff is treated as opaque and just drag&dropping it in the browser would not necessarily give a correct rendiution of the final result. Only opening the associated HTML would/ should do that. If that's not the problem, I would assume that due to some update either in Flash player or the FLV encoding compoinents something has changed and you may just sift through the options and re-enable something. The clip being green would indicate that the transparency is actually there, it's just not being used/ displayed....

Hi, ok so at my old job i got given a laptop and i synced my iPhone to that laptop using iCloud, now i have left that job and i have bought my own macbook. I just linked my iPhone to my new macbook via iCloud and now pictures from my old work colleges that are obviously using that laptop have popped up on my new laptop, does that mean all my pictures in the last 3 months have been loa

HELP!!If they are photo stream photos, save them to your camera roll, then delete them from photo stream. That will delete them from photo stream in iCloud and on any other devices/computers. Of couse it won't delete them if they have already been moved out of the photo stream album download folder on the work computer.
Then change your iCloud password so the old work computer no longer has access to your iCloud data or photo stream. See http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2617. -
PC Used to work with XP and airport Extreme Basestation but not with Vista
Please help, my PC Used to work with XP and airport Extreme Basestation but not now with Vista. I have a MacBook Pro connected and also a Mac Pro connected to the network on it and they still work, i have put the latest software on the PC and the firmware is up to date. The only thing i can see on the network on the PC is the basestation Hard Disk (shared also to the Macs) but i cannot connect with the password, i have tried everything in my knowledge, including formatting the machine and reinsatlling OS and changing security setting to no avail. Any ideas anyone?

I have a iPhone 5. In usage, it says i have 2.1 gigs used because of photos and camera. I have deleted all my photos via iPhoto and now reset the phone back to factory settings in order to try to solve this problem, to no avail. Both iTunes and the phone say that 2.1 gigs are being used, even though the phone now has nothing on it. What is going on?
Yeah it works fine over wifi the problem is when I try to use it over my 3G. It's really stressing me out now.

I recently bought an Epson Artisan 837 printer. I installed the driver and now Photoshop from CS3 will not open. It closes every time it gets to the point where it is loading the Twain portion. Does anyone know how to fix this so my printer and Photoshop will work together? Thanks for any help I can get!
You're welcome.
But, no, don't look to Epson for fixes to their driver in newer versions, and Adobe has deprecated the TWAIN plug-in. Hoping for a solution there is futile. That has not happened and it's never going to happen. The consensus is that it's pretty foolish to tie up Photoshop to scan. Honestly.
Any improvement in the behavior of newer versions of the Epson drivers in that regard would be pure coincidence.
You need to understand that you never, ever scan "within" Photoshop, as Photoshop has no scanning capabilities whatsoever. When you use the Import > Twain plug-in all you are doing is blocking Photoshop while you call up the stand-alone Epson scanning software. If you think about it, its most inefficient.
VueScan has a pretty powerful scanning plug-in that can be called from the Impost menu—if you insist. VueScan is not free, but it's a pretty good value, IMO.
As for the Epson CD printing software, I have no clue. Sorry. -
My Macbook pro OS 10.10.2 suddenly will not communicate with my Cannon MX890 printer. I reset all printers and now I cannot seem to add a printer by using the Add a printer function. Ideas?
The appearance of the printer in the Default view of the Add printer window relies on a protocol called Bonjour. There have been quite a few users who upgraded to Yosemite only to find that their wifi printer is no longer visible. Until Apple resolves this issue you can add your printer using the LPD protocol. To do so you will need to determine the IP address being used by the MX890. This can be done via the touch panel under Device Settings > Network Settings.
Once you learn the IP address then on the Mac you can click to add the printer and select the IP icon. Here you can enter the IP address, set the Protocol to Line Printer Deamon and leave the Queue field blank. Then change the name to Canon MX890 and in the Use menu, browse for the Canon MX890 series driver. Then click Add to complete the printer creation. -

I understand that you would like to know how to load and print envelopes with your HP Officejet 4630 e-All-in-One Printer. I would like to assist you today with printing envelopes!
First, I'll have you properly load the envelope:
Open the paper tray door, and then pull it toward you to extend the paper tray.
Gently pull out the paper tray extender, and then lift up the paper catch.
Pull out the paper tray, and then pull out the tray extender
Slide the paper width guides to their outermost position.
Slide out the paper width guides
Remove any paper from the paper tray.
Load the envelope into the middle of the paper tray, print side down, and with the flap on the left and facing up.
NOTE: You can load one or more envelopes in the tray, but do not load more than five envelopes at a time. Do not use shiny or embossed envelopes or envelopes that have clasps or windows.

Slide in the paper width guides until they rest against the edges of the envelope.

1. Open Word and click on Mailings at the top
2. Select 'Envelopes' from the top left hand side
3. An Envelopes and Labels page should now open. Enter your Delivery and Return Addresses.
4. Select 'Options' on the bottom right hand side.
5. Under the 'Envelope Options' tab ensure that your Envelope size is appropriately selected.
6. Select the 'Printing Options' tab at the top. You now need to select the appropriate Feed Method for your product.
7. Make sure that you choose the 'Face Down' option.
8. Also ensure that 'Clockwise Rotation' is selected.
9. Hit 'OK' and 'print'

Files deleted from the Library and now internet doesn't work?

I'm new here and this is probably going to sound dumb but... my father deleted some files from the Library by mistake and now internet doesn't work in his computer. Everything seems normal, but the webpages don't load (we tried lots of pages and 3 browsers). If you try to update any software it can't connect to the internet either.
He reinstalled the system (it's Mountain Lion, I think) but it didn't worked (it was a partial reinstallation, without losing the data). He also tried restarting and pressing CMD-R but nothing happened.

For 10.5/10.6/10.7/10.8, System Preferences>Network, unlock the lock if need be, highlight the Interface you use to connect to Internet, click on the advanced button, click on the DNS tab, click on the little plus icon, then add these numbers...
