Printer won't switch from one tray to another

Having problems with my HP Officejet Pro 8600 Premium not doing the auto switch from default tray to next tray during print job. I've tried unplugging the printer, removing and replacing tray 2, checking for jams, shuffling paper, resetting the default tray (paper can be pulled from both trays when set as default), but I still get an "out of paper" message when the default tray is empty even though the other tray is empty. I can manually exchange empty tray for full one, but the printer no longer automatically switches over when one of the trays is empty. HELP!

You can add as many e-mail accounts as you want. Go to Settings>Mail, Contacts,Calendars to add them.
When in the mail app,you can have all inboxes displayed together (unified inbox) or you can tap the "Mailboxes" arrow in the upper left and select which one you want.

Switch from one application to another without entered a login detail

I have two application in same workspace and they have same authentication or login detail. if i switch from one application to another then it do not ask for login .
for examle if i switch to sample application there login detail is diffrent it ask for username as demo and passoword as workspace then it should for login detail.
can i create a menu of those application those have same login credential?

Switching from one View to another in the Portal

Hi Experts,
We have created many global views from one query. We have created these in thr portal.
Our problem is when we switch from one view to another, it will carry all the filter values from the previous view. Ideally we only want to pass the values from the variable entry, not the filter values local to the view.
Does anyone of you knows how to solve this problem? I am trying to look at the Customer exit... and do something with the mapping. But this one will affect all the drill-downs. Any thoughts?

Hi,
I have somehow solved it using the exit. In this case the source and target query is really the same because we are just switching from one view to another using the the same query. What I did in the exit was:
- If the source and target query are the same.
- remove all the mappings except the ones with object types "Variables".
This ensures that:
1) I only apply this logic if the source and destination query is the same.
2) The restrictions that will be applied to the destination view when I switch
from one view to another will always be only be the paramater values
(default or entered by the user) when they first run the query.

It is simple.
Columns fill with text as the text becomes enough to spill over from the previous column. Below is an example. I have used a huge (6" botom margin setting to shorten the page to a reasonable length for a screen shot, and turned on Show layout and Show invisibles so the column boundaries and invisible characters can be seen. Here there's no text in column 3 as there is only enough text to fill column 1 and part of column 2.
As more text is added, it eventually fills column 2 and flows into column 3:
You can force the text into the next column by inserting a column break. Here, a column break has repalced the paragraph break in column 2 (after 'fascilisi."):

If you mean switching from many open windows you can use the Window menu or click and hold down the mouse button on the Safari icon on the dock.

Slides won't copy from one .cp to another...

I usually just create question slides once and then copy them from one .cp file to another when I need them. That way I can keep the background, fonts, and buttons intact.
Today, I was trying to copy a slide in Captivate 4 to a new course and it won't show a paste option in the new course. When I Ctrl+C in the old course, it shows that its copying the slide, but when I go to paste in the new course, it doesn't paste anything.
Any ideas? I made sure that nothing on the slide itself was locked, but that didn't do anything either.

Try to keep only one Captivate instance running at a time.
So after you copy the slide
either close the project and open the other project and try pasting.
or close captivate and launch captivate again and open the other project and paste.

When switching from one page to another, browser timeouts and have to refresh

I know I am antiquated, however, I have dial up still. I have never had this problem until recently. When going from one page (even in email) the browser does not load and I have to refresh or it will sit there giving no error and doing nothing. Resetting fire fox does not work.

Note that your System Details List shows that you have a user.js file in the profile folder to initialize some prefs on each start of Firefox.
The user.js file is only present if you or other software has created it, so normally it wouldn't be there.
you can check its content with a plain text editor if you didn't create this file yourself.
The user.js file is read each time you start Firefox and initializes preferences to the value specified in this file, so preferences set via user.js can only be changed temporarily for the current session.

How do I switch from one NAS to another?

I'm in the processing of reorganizing everything and right now all my iTunes music is on one NAS (so my Macbook and other devices can access it without having to have a local copy of the music). I now want to switch to another of my NAS units (it's built-in to my router so it will always be on and more accessible, unlike the current one which I am going to use for movies and such). I have already copied the music files over, but now I just want to tell iTunes that it's on that drive and not the previous one.
I'd rather not lose any of my playlists but I also don't want to dupe anything. If I use add folder to library I'll just end up with dupes, right? Should I just select all the songs in iTunes and delete them and then add the new NAS folder? Is there anything tricky here I'm not thinking of? (I don't want to screw this up as I have around 30K worth of songs).

Switching from one account to another

In order to resolve a problem in what was then my only account, I created a new one. This has solved the basic problem, but it leaves me with some problems. I can't work out whether or not it is possible to transfer things like my Address Book or my copy of Word frpom my original account to the next one. Can anyone give me general or particular guidelines as to how — if at all — this can be done?

I'd consider setting up the new user as a troubleshooting step to confirm the problem, not the "fix". If the problem is resolved in the new user, it indicates that it is a settings issue (or plist corruption, etc.), and that it can be resolved in the original user.
Was the problem that you "resolved" the Mail issue in your other post? What you can do instead is copy the following files from the new user back to your original user (overwriting the original user files).
/Home/Library/Mail (copy the whole folder)
/Home/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist (* This is a very important file which contains all email account settings and general mail preferences.)
If you really want to migrate to the new user, post back as we'll help you locate all the necessary files...

Access denied error message when switching from one Mac to another Mac

I use LR on a laptop and a desktop, both Macs running Yosemite. I use the same external drive to store my LR photo catalogs and move it back and forth between computers. If I import pictures on one computer I get a "file access denied" when in the Develop mode on the other computer. In other words, I can only use the Develop mode on the computer where the original download from my camera occurred. I cannot find a solution and would appreciate any help. I am running the latest versions of LR and OS X. Thanks.

Switch from one Mail to another

I just received my new G5 and I want to switch what I had in my old computer Mail program (with imported entourage email) into my G5 Mail program. I attempted to copy what was in my old Mail folder into my new computer's Mail folder via portable harddrive, which seemed to work, but only 5 messages from my old Mail inbox showed up in the new, and all of the imported folders I had in the old Mail that seemed to transfer are infact empty.
Any help/ suggestions are greatly appreciated.
