Printer wont install

printer was installed on my computer and worked fine then i had to restore my computer and now the software wil not install the printer keep getting notification saying doesnt meet requirements and need administration help

I understand that you cannot install your HP Photosmart 5060 on Windows 8. I am sorry to hear this, but happy to look into it for you!
I would recommend to try the following:
Clean boot the computer. How to perform a clean boot in Windows.
Create a new user account with administrative privileges. Managing User Accounts and Logins (Windows 8).
Re-install the driver. Install a Windows 8 Driver with Windows Update.

HP Web print wont' install at Flock 2.5.5

Hello,
I have tried to install the web page printing version: 4.6 (http://www.hp.com/global/us/en/consumer/digital_photography/free/software/smart-web-printing.html). However, after the installation, the web page printing add-ons is not listed at Flock at all. Would someone take a look at it, please?

Hi Patricia,
The HP Smart Web Printing program is not compatible with Flock. It only works with Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.

Fuji xerox printer wont install

I have a new iMac, and I want to install my current office printer onto it, but it doesnt work. i downloaded the for the fuji xerox docuprint c525A from the website, and installed, although in the dialog box it only said upgrade. It doesnt show up in my "Printers" folder in the "Library", and although i have gone through the add IP printer menu, i still get the dialogue box saying that the printer address is busy, trying again in 30 seconds. Problem is, it doesnt try again, or it gets the same answer, I dont know. the same box stays there. the printer is on my office network, connected through a network hub. Anyone have any ideas?

Looking at the Xerox web site, it seems that there is really only a ppd for this old beast. So the file will most likely end up in the PPDs section of the printer library.

This message can be the result of selecting the wrong type of connection during the installation or an incorrect queue name. Check what the other computers in you office have configured for this printer (if they are Windows, go to Properties > Ports > Configure Port).
The error can also be the result of incorrect network addressing. Make sure your iMac is on the same subnet as the printer.

Canon printer wont print PDF and Word files... sometimes.

I face a very special problem with my iMac and my Canon printer (Pixma MG5350): Since a few weeks, the printer wont print most PDF files correctly, the same with existing Word files. A blank or blurred sheet is coming out of the machine. But: When I create a brand new Word file and fill it with text, the printer prints it clean and neat. The same with the official Canon test prints – no troubles at all. I have also tried to sort out the problem with the help from Apple: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3147?viewlocale=de_DE, without success. Glad about every help!

My next suggestion would be to try an alternate driver to the Canon.
There is the Gutenprint v5.2.9 suite which is free and lists the MG5300 series as a supported model. You could download and install this driver suite and add the Gutenprint MG5300 driver and see if this gives you the same problem.

Wont install on WIndows

Wont install on WIndows, what ever package I create with CC Acrobat Pro just doesn't install. Everything else works but not Acrobat Pro. It runs the installer, but nothing get installed. 32 & 64 bit versions of windows.
The stand alone Pro download works, but only if I'm an Admin, then I have to run the updates before I can register. I can't register unless I run the updates.

I understand that you tried to install the printer on Windows 8 and were having issues. I suggest that you do an Uninstall of the Printer Software and then a Install of the Printer Software. Use the Printer Install Wizard to do the install as it will go and look for the correct driver for you.

A 2003 iMac cannot support Snow Leopard 10.6; you'd need an Intel processor and that cannot be retrofitted to your Mac. What does "About this Mac" in your Apple menu say for your processor speed? What does it say about how much RAM you have?
If the processor is 1ghz or faster, you can run OS 10.5; otherwise, you are maxed out at 10.4.11.
Also, are you running any commercial ("pay for") anti-virus or security software? They are notorious for slowing most Macs to a fraction of their speed potential.
A too-full hard drive can drag down performance, especially if you don't have a lot of physical RAM installed. If you single-click your hard drive icon and then do command i, you'll see the disk usage. Looks like this:
The value for "Used" should be no more than about 90 percent of "Capacity." In the example image, that drive has about 34 percent of its space used and 66 percent free--more than enough. Please post what you see for your Capacity and Used numbers
There are a few more things we might check but this is a good start.

When you open Print & Fax to add the HP device, are you then clicking on it to highlight it, then clicking Add at the lower right to install the device?
When you do this, you will have the HP device installed in two "locations"....one at the Mac and the other at the TC. When you try to print, you have to be sure to choose the correct location.
The PCs will need to have Bonjour for Windows installed on each device. Run the program, and select the HP device. Bonjour Print Services for Windows v2.0.2
Keep in mind that only the print function will work on most All-in-One type devices when connected to the USB port on a router. You need to connect to a computer if you need advanced features like copy, scan, maintentenance, etc.

I turned on my laptop this evening to import a new cd but it asked me if i wanted to download the new version of itunes so i went ahead to update it but it failed to update then it failed to open at all, and and runtime error keeps popping up but when i uninstalled it to reinstall it it wont install now and i cant use my ipod or ipad with my laptop without itunes and i never had this problem at all. can you please help?

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

ITunes will download but wont install on windows 7 64-bit computer.

I got this computer a few weeks ago and first thing i tried to install was iTunes off of the apple site and it wont install.
i can download the setup file to my computer and save to my documents but when i right click and click run as administrator, a loading sign will appear for two seconds then disappear... i need iTunes on this computer since it wouldnt install on my old laptop. i've even tried installing on safe mode and nothing. i just want iTunes on my computer.. any help?
