Printers for smartphones

Recently purchased the 2540 all in one printer and then found out that the seller's description that it would print from all smartphones was misleading.  It is going back to the seller.
Which HP wireless printers are compatible with a Samsung Galaxy £?

Hi,
You can find them on the following list:

If you wish to use HP ePrint (printers which have email address), please select the one with Yes on the first col.
Regards.

My Windows 8.1 Professional 64-bit system has a built-in driver for the LaserJet 1015 model:
You may have to click the Windows Update button in the Add Printer dialogue, then wait (perhaps for several minutes) whilst additional drivers are downloaded, before the list is repopulated.

  • Use dot matrix printers for printing text reports in Reports 10g

In Forms 6i, customers had the option to use dot matrix printers for printing text reports.
I believe, from 9i onwards, text based reports aren’t supported and instead HTML/PDF,DOC,RTF reports are supported which are not text based and use modern day printers.
Is it still possible to use text printers ??
    Regards,

  • Compatible printers for Mac mini (Mac's)

Where can I find a list of compatible printers for Mac. My current Windows printer is a Canon LBP-1120 and cannot use it with my Mac mini. So its probably time to get another printer for my Macs.

I should add that there are a number of printers that are compatible and that don't necessarily appear to be so as a result of third-party drivers. This includes, if I'm not mistaken, some Canon models which can be plugged in and selected in Printer setup.
Others, such as at least some Epson, HP and Lexmark models, are supplied with Windows and MacOS drivers (you need to make sure they're for the right version of MacOS) or the box will be labelled such that it indicates PC/Mac compatibility.
You might take a quick look at the printers offered through the online Apple store (under Mac accessories) to get an idea of which makes to look at. This will only tell you about current models of course, but should at least prove a reliable starting point.

  • Call block for smartphones

call block widget in future version upgrades for smartphones..

You could try assigning that phone number to a silent ring tone, then you would not hear it ring and it will go to voice mail. Then just delete the message if you want nothing to do with that caller.

  • PRINTERS FOR AN IMAC

Recommended Printers for an IMAC OSX v.10.5.4??? (Not an HP)

Just throwing my two cents in.
    Never, ever an HP.
I always had trouble with the squirrely software when I had nothing but PC based machines. I recently picked up this iMac and the misery escalated. The most annoying thing about the whole process is that the installation program kept getting hung up on a file that it created during the installation.
Recently, I authorized the purchase and installation of a HP laser jet in my office per the recommendation of our IT folks. It proved to be a challenging installation for our experienced IT people. It lasted about 6 copies before it quit working. Service showed up, looked at it, made a couple of calls and announced it had something to do with a buffer board and has to be replaced.
Too many recent, consecutive, bad experiences to seriously consider HP for any future purchases.

  • AT&T recent data plans for smartphone

Not sure if there is any gotcha but recently ATT announces the new data plan for smartphone users.  With $160 per month you have
    - Unlimited voice/text
    - 4 smartphone lines
    - 10 GB data share
With the same amount of monthly I have with Verizon
    - 700 min voice
    - Unlimited text
    - 1 smartphone line with 2GB data by itself
    - 2 dumb phone lines
Not sure how Verizon is going to react with this.

The tiered data plans started on AT&T last year.

  • Password protect/disable printers for certain users under ML 10.8

I am looking for a solution to prevent my youger pupils to print everything without asking me. Is there a solution to protect/disable printers for certain users under ML 10.8 ?

Ok. The sharing interface is not robust enough (by itself) to password challenge print jobs. You may need to look at another printing technology known as CUPS. Apple created this for advanced print configuration, and it does offer Kerberos security with printing password challenges. I do not know if OS X server offers more granularity in configuration.
I won't be able to help you with the following as I do not use the CUPS printing solution here.
In Safari, type in the following and press return.
    localhost:631
You will see a tabbed browser interface. And a bit of light reading ...

  • Are there any new All-in-one printers for sale that use the CLI-221 cartridges?

We have a MX870 Printer that needs to be replaced but new cartridges were just purchased from Canon.  Are there any new All-in-one printers for sale that use the CLI-221 cartridges?
    Thanks,
    Margaret

The MX922 (known as the MX926 in Australia) is supported by 10.10 and Windows 7. Whatever site you were looking at may not have updated their details. Here is a link from the Canon Australia web site showing the drivers and applications for this model for 10.10.

  • List of suported USB printers for AP-Express

HI, can some one help me in finding an official list of supported usb printers for AP-Express? I have two printers and none of them works. I am thinking of buying new one, but only if I will be able to print via AE....( Canon i-SENSYS MF4730) is the one I would like to purchace. Thanks for any answer.

Unfortunately, Apple does not provide a list of supported printers with USB connections.
And....even IF a printer might be supported with USB printing, other advanced features like copy, scan maintenance, etc will not be supported if you have an All-in-One type of device.
If you want full functionality with an All-in-One device, then be sure to buy a device that connects to the network using either an Ethernet or wireless connection.

  • Suggested inkjet printers for mac book air 2012

what is a good inkjet home printer for a macbook air 2012?

I've been strongly recommending Canon inkjet printers for a long time. They have separate cartridges for each color so there's minimal waste of ink. They don't get clogged if you don't use them for a while (I'm looking at you Epson). I've dealt with their customer support before via email and it has been very good and fast.

  • What is least expensive plan for smartphone and wifi hotspot?

What is least expensive plan for smartphone and wifi hotspot?  I would probably want 1 -2GB or so of use for the hotspot, to allow access for my laptop when needed.  I don't need a lot of minutes, really my usage is 100 - 200 mins/month,  no or very little text, and some date use from phone, maybe 1 GB?
    Thanks for any ideas!
