Printers that support OS X Mountain lion

I need to buy a new printer, copier and scanner preferably with a USB and SD card point. It also needs to be compatible with OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2. I made a purchase at the weekend that had incompatible software and drivers on the webpage that failed to work. Looking to spend up to £120 maybe a little more if exceptional! Can anyone make suggestions for me to consider please?

The blurring will be a result of the moisture content in the paper. If you have a ream of paper open for a period of time it will absorb moisture from the air and when you then put this in the printer it will cause the ink to spread, giving the blurred look. The more recycled content in the paper, the more blur you will get. So if you buy a new ream of paper, after opening it and placing some sheets in the cassette, seal up the remainder in the original packaging the best you can.
As for brands of paper, I use Canon photo paper for my photos but for everyday text printing, I just purchase locally produced paper. But I mostly use a laser printer for my text printing. So for usage, if you want quality text output, then you will need to buy a business quality paper and keep it sealed until you need to use it.

When you buy an upgrade disk, all updates in that OS can be found on Software Update.
For instance, I bought Snow Leopard at 10.6.
All other updates have been free and downloadable. So I'm not a 10.6.7.
10.4 (Tiger) went to 10.4.11.
10.5 (Leopard) went to 1.5.8
10.6(Snow Leopard) is currently at 10.6.7.
Now, when Lion come out (the next major upgrade of OSX), I will have to pay to go to 10.7.
After that, updates are free til 10.8 comes out.

So, none of my old software works on my computer now that I have installed Mountain Lion. I had no idea it wouldn't work. I'm incredibly disappointed. Any help?

I just upgraded to Mountain Lion from Snow Leopard. Now none of my Microsoft applications (Word, Excel) work, nor does my old version of Adobe Creative Suite. I'm really disappointed. I'm a poor college student and I can't drop hundreds of dollars on software because of this issue with a 20$ operating system.
Any ideas on what I should do? Go back to Snow Leopard? I like the Cloud and Find My Mac and the calendar sync, but I don't know if it's worth buying whole new versions of software that I use on a regular basis.

Yeah. My Office is from '04. I still have the installation disk for Leopard, as well. I have a really old version of CS. It's probably from around 2004. I guess upgrading my software won't kill me. It'll make me cry a little, but it won't kill me. Is CS3 the oldest one that is compatible with Mountain Lion?
Is 2008 the oldest version of Office that will work on it?

I'm sorry for my bad english, my problem is that I want the program I open in a new window to be avilable in full screen mode. Before I uppdated my os to Montaine Lion I could choose wide under screen in settings. I'll take an ex for you. When I play poker online I want to see the tabel in full screen but I don't manage to fix that. Do you Sir have any idea???

I don't know why Apple recommended you to upgrade to Mountain Lion, because it shouldn't solve anything related to your documents.
As I can see, you are not using the latest Office update, so install 14.2.5 update for free > http://www.microsoft.com/mac/downloads?pid=Mactopia_Office2011&fid=0F4E073F-4FEC -440D-A9BF-1E01EE9E92AD#viewer If you can't install it, install 14.2.3 first

How can I get a version of Final Cut Pro X that works on OS Mountain Lion?

I just downgraded my laptop to its original OS (Lion) and will be upgrading soon to Mountain Lion because this laptop is too old to work with Mavericks or Yosemeti. So far Final Cut Pro X, Motion and Compressor (which I had originally purchased when I first bought the computer) do not work. Will Final Cut Pro X work on Mountain Lion? If not, what can I do to get a version that will work?

10.0.9 is the latest version compatible with Mountain Lion. I found this article which may help you:

At the time it was written it was apparently possible to download from the app store with a computer running ML. Maybe this is still the case.
FCP 10.1. has video requirements which are not met by older machines. I'm not sue about 10.0.9 but that might possibly be a 'gotcha'
I'm a bit confused though since if you downgraded you laptop to Lion but Mountain Lion is the latest OS it will run then you must have been running ML already

I give up. I just cannot see my exchange inbox in Mail after installing Mountain Lion. My mail is not being deleted. Its still in my inbox I just can't see it. I've tried everything suggested on the forums and nothing is working for me.
My productivity has completely stalled and I really need to move to an email client that is going to work seamlessly with Mountain Lion.
Any recommendations?

Safari or flash player will not work now that I have downloaded mountain lion

I just upgraded to mountain lion and now when I open chrome or safari it will shut down with in a few sec. Also on firefox the flash player will not work. I have downloaded the latest version and it still does not work

Printers that support XP operating system

I have 2 computers - an old PC which is not connected to the internet and a MAC - about 2 years old which is connected to the internet. The MAC is connected to a wireless HP printer in a different room from the PC. I want to print from my PC because I have an old card program I want to use. Is there a printer which will still support XP operating system? Since I am not connected to the net, I would need a disc to install it. Thanks for any help.

I would recommend to take a look at the readme.htm file. This file will tell you whether or not the hardware that you have can be used with this version of the driver. Keep up with the good work!

Windows Support Software and Mountain Lion.

To anybody having difficulty downloading the Windows Support Software through the Bootcamp Assistant, it does infact work, but is incredibly slow. I have successfully installed Windows 7 today, but it took four hours to download the support software. Everything is now working well. If you are not sure it is working, start the download, and wait until the progress bar stops moving. Place your cursor alongside the end of the bar and check it 15 minutes later. You will see it is moving slowly. It's taken me a week to realise this. The genius bar had no idea when I checked with them.

Look to the right under "More Like This". Many are having the same issue with slow download. The only thing to do is be parient and as you said it is downloading very slowly. I just left mine downloading when I went to bed. In the morning it had completed.
