  • Is there a way to rotate an extrnal image in the report builder?

    hello,
my current format of this pictures is WMF.
i want rotate an image by a condtion, is it possible?

    Hi oren,
By design, the image control only supports BMP, JPEG, GIF, PNG and X-PNG image formats in Reporting Services. Reporting Services doesn’t support display WMF format image. Besides, there is no such property that can rotate the image in the report, let alone
    based on some conditions.

but actually i'm getting it from the database and displaying it (it's a BLOB file).
Can anybody suggest me , so that i can have the image displayed in a larger size than the size wat i'm getting from the database ?

    Hi Sreeni,
The images are stored with employee ids reference like 1234.jpg in the image location path, so will it be possible to call those images into the report with no relation at database level.
as you said in above mail even if if we cld try  to store the images in oracle database with format like CLOB format the rpd will not support the datatype to bring to that report level.
Please let me know if you have any solution
    Thanks in Advance

  • How to change the color of 1px_trans.gif image of interactive report

    Hi All,
Iam using interactive report in apex3.2
I need to change the color of 1px_trans.gif or remove the image in search tool bar
    where we can change.
    pls tell me .......
    Thanks & regards
    Balu..

I need to change the color of 1px_trans.gif or remove the image in search tool bar 1px_trans.gif is transparent and doesn't have a colour. It is used as a shim image—an outdated way of controlling the dimension(s) of some element(s). It's intended to be invisible. Giving it colour will cause it to become visible, resulting in all sorts of unexpected and unwanted lines (or worse, solid areas of colour) appearing throughout applications.
What do you think you want to do? (Whatever that is, it will almost certainly not be achieved by changing the colour of 1px_trans.gif...)

  • Color .jpg/.gif images in the .CHM and true (4BPP/8BPP) grayscale in Printed Output?

I do all my document creation in RH first, then output
WinHelp and to Word 2003. I want to keep color images in the CHM
and have a majority of the images become true monochrome grayscale
    in the Word doc.
Yes, Word does have a nifty "grayscale" optopn for each
image, but it leaves the color "channels" (24BPP) and so our color
copier still prints page using all CYMK colors (and it never seems
    to get "true" grays anyway...)
If I could somehow get monochrome grayscale images in RH,
where there is already color ones - I could save as "monochrome"
    and "color" outputs.
Any ideas, hints, batch files, suggestions or comments?
    Thank you!

On second thought... it's the Fiery controller in the copier
that's doing all the deciding on what's what, and unfortunately
"that's not my department", so at this point, the question here is
    moot - it's not a RH issue.

  • Resize and print a large image in a report

A current project I'm working requires that a "report" be printed out for every "part" produced.
Each "part" is photographed and a high quality (large) .jpg file is
generated and cataloged on the hard drive.  A report with this
image is then printed and shipped with the product as part of a QA
    process.
Initially I used a command line argument to have Irfanview print the
image only.  This was so easy.  Even printing in Landscape
was simple.  Of course then I realized I would probably need a
little more information than just the image.
Looking at some examples of report generation and reading some of the
problems others have had in the past, I figured it might be good to ask
before I go stumbling around in the dark.
The original images are 2288x1712 in size.
Is there any way to auto resize an image to "fit" onto a printed report?
The only way I can think to do is to experiment with different sizes
until I find something that fits and looks alright, then use either
IMAQ tools or an Irfanview command to resize the image before appending
    it to the report.
If anyone has any tricks for this one, I'd love to hear them.
    Patrick Allen

Here, but like I said, it's a very stupid VI. It doesn't do any avareging or smoothing and it has no mathematical optimization (assuming that there is any). It just removes some of the elements. This has been good enough for displaying images, but might not be good for anything else, because you lose a lot of details.
Try to take over the world!

    Hi,
No errors was found in the installation log. I'm looking in the WWDOC_DOCUMENT$ table and found records that make references to my previous tries to upload the logo image. In order to make others tries, how can I delete this information? Are references to this files in any other table?.
I'm looking over the solution provide by Laurent Baresse, refering to the NLS_LANGUAJE problem ... (Thanks Laurent).

should i convert the input type of function to varbinary instead of byte array? Please help me.

  • How to get the subtotals to only print on page 1 of the report?

    Hello :
Could someone tell me how to best accomplish this in CR 2008?. Thank you in advance!
On Page 1 of the report, I only want to print a summary of provider then the total of each procedure type performed at the clinic.
Here's a sample of the result that I'm looking for:
        Dr. One
         Office visit, new         = 15
         Office Visit, established = 10
         New wellness care         = 18
        Dr. Two
         Office visit, new         = 5
         Office Visit, established = 18
         New wellness care         = 20
        Dr. Three
         Office visit, new         = 15
         Office Visit, established = 10
         New wellness care         = 10
         Established wellness care = 30
**The 2nd part of this report I was able to get the desired result, but I thought it would be helpful to share this informationl.
The subsequent pages is grouped by provider, visit date, patient name, date of birth,
and procedure description. Then subtotal by provider.
    Here's a sample result
        *Dr. One*
         12/1/2009 Patient 1  06/29/1977 Office visit,new
         12/1/2009 Patient 2  5/5/1960  office visit,new
         1/5/2010  Patient 3  8/18/59   Office Visit, established
         1/14/2010 Baby 1     11/1/2009 New wellness care
        +Total = 4+
        Dr. Two
         09/16/2009 Patient 4 7/19/80   Office visit, new
         10/20/2009 Patient 4 02/02/1986   Office visit, new
         10/23/2009 Patient 4 06/15/1994   Office visit, new
         11/11/2009 Patient 4 02/02/1972  Office visit, established
1/12/2010  Baby Boy 1/1/2008    New wellness care
         1/12/2010  Baby Girl2 9/21/2009  New wellness care
         1/18/2010  Baby Girl3 8/1/2009  New wellness care
         1/19/2010  Baby Girl4 12/21/2009  New wellness care
        Total = 8

Copy the date parameters to the sub-report.  In the sub-report criteria use the local parameters to select the date field data.  In the sub-report linking link the main report parameter field(s) to the sub-report parameter fields (not the ?PM-?<parametername> default links).   You may need to also link the data in the sub-report by the Dr. field.
    Good luck,
    Eric

  • How to use an animated .GIF image as the texture in Cp4 ?

    Hello all
I wish to create an animated banner and use it as the texture in Captivate 4.
As I know texture supports only image formats( JPEG, PNG, GIF,etc). So, I have created a small animation in Photoshop and saved in GIF format and used it as the texture. But when I preview the movie it is displayed as an image but not the animation.
Is there any solution for this problem?
    Kind regards,
    Kartik Pullela

    1. Instal this package: http://nugetmusthaves.com/Package/WpfAnimatedGif2. Use the code below:
<Window x:Class="WpfAnimatedGif.Demo.MainWindow"xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation"xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml"xmlns:gif="http://wpfanimatedgif.codeplex.com"Title="MainWindow"Height="350"Width="525"><Grid><Image gif:ImageBehavior.AnimatedSource="Images/animated.gif"/></Grid>I found this on: http://wpfanimatedgif.codeplex.com/, and this is the useful solution because <MediaElement /> doesn't show the .gif image, and that's pretty strange.

  • Include PDF/RTF stored as blob like an image in the report

    Hi,
I've one rtf template and at the end of the document I will attach a predefined text. I has two ideas how to implement that. One could be to store the text as a file in the file system (as rtf, doc, pdf, ...) and link it in the document (the link must by dynamically because of different text depending on a value in my xml). The other way could be to store my different texts as a blob in the db and include it like an image (an image I've still included and it works).
Can somebody explain me step by step how to solve my problem.
    Regards
    Carsten

    Hi Chris,
tx for your reply.Including with sub-templates works fine. Now I try du import my sub-template dynamically. I've a value in my data XML for the sub-template and I like to do build my import link with this value.
    Now I'm using:
    <?import:http://#server#:#port#/xmlpserver/sub_template1.rtf?>
And I want to do something like this:
    <?import:http://#server#:#port#/xmlpserver/<mySubTemplate>.rtf?>
where <mySubTemplate> is the value from my data XML.
I looked for variables in the documentation, but I'm not shure how to use them.
In the chapter "Using XSL Elements" there is an example <xsl:variable name="color" select="'red'"/> but I'm not shure if I can use this syntax in my rtf-template, because to lines above in the doc the BI Publisher Tag is <?variable:name?> but where do I assign my value there?
tx in advanced for the support

  • White (halo) around gif image on the web

How do I get rid of the thin white border around my transparent gifs?

A tutorial describing the technique can be fond here:

A GIF only supports 1-bit transparency - either full transparency or full opaque. - Nothing inbetween. So, if your graphics has anti-aliased (fuzzy) edges, Photoshop has to make those semi-transparent pixels either fully transparent or fully opaque (by removing them, or adding an opaque color 'under' the fuzzy edges. This is the Matte.
Creating aliased graphics (no fuzzy edges) eliminates this problem, but you´ll have a harsh-looking graphic.
Ways around this, besides the matte color and aliased graphics, includes copying your HTML background graphic into your transparent file, and make a custom, aliased Matte (edge around your graphic), then place the transparent file pixel-precise on your webpage.
