Printing a Jewel case cover & playlist

I recently purchased a HP Photosmart D110 printer. I cannot now print from iTunes. HP support says I need to configure my printer to print from iTunes. I suspect they are pounding sand in my a**. I've never had to configure my printer to print from iTunes before. Anyone have any advice or suggestions?

The solution is actually quite simple.  After your burn is complete leave that screen and go to your Playlists.  Click on the playlist you just burned and then try to print out your mosaics.  They will only be in B/W from the burn screen but in full color from the Playlist screen.  This has worked for me everytime and I hope it works for you.
To the person who said the mosaic stetched onto the songlist, note that there are a few different choices for mosaics.  Select each one and notice the difference in the example and choose the one that you want.
Good luck all.

Since installing the newest i-tunes version, I cannot print a jewel case insert.  The titles of the songs are jumbled into two or three lines.
    Can this be fixed?

  • CD Jewel case cover printing error

When I print the jewel case cover the song list only prints out a very compressed list on the left side but is fine on the right side album cover. This has only just started happening after nusing I-Tunes for years without any problems at all. I have the latest version as of today. What can be causing this?

I finally solved this problem after toiling with it for a couple of days.  Solution:  Once you have burned your CD you must go back into iTunes to your music/palylists and select the playlist you just burned and click file; print and you will get the mosaics that we have been accustomed to.  I was on hold with Apple Support when I found this myself.  Yes......!!! Problem solved..for me anyway.  Good luck!

  • HT1527 Successfully burned my playlist to CD. Tried to print cover for jewel case-cover photo printed OK but playlist is garbled and unreadable.

I successfully burned my playlist to CD.  Tried to print jewel case cover-cover photo printed OK but playlist is garbled and unreadable (prints song tiles/artists on top of one another).  Has worked OK in past-why not now?     Tom

Apple, what about fixing the printing problem?  Jewel-case printouts have highly compressed text on the back - for months and months.  Come on Apple, be responsible people, fix your problems quickly.  No wonder the share price is underperforming.  Investors know that your business requires customers (quaint notion, isn't it?) and we customers are disillusioned and are leaving you in droves.  Windows Surface and Windows Phone8, Android phones and Pads, there are now a usable alternatives to the Apple Ecosystem. I suspect this post will be short-lived, but at least I've let you know that I'm disillusioned.  Are you listening, corporate Apple Inc.? Probably not.

  • Can I print the jewel case back cover and disk label

    Hi everybody,
I have bought a pile of albums off iTunes over the last couple of months and have downloaded and printed the CD covers when ever possible.
Is it possible to also print the back jewel case cover as well as the disc label????
    Thanks so much,
    Bob

    Hi Bob,
All understood - it looks like what you see is what you get! I've not bought from the iTunes store, but it sounds like you only get the CD cover. Has anyone else out there ever got more that the cover?
Perhaps a line to Apple asking for the the rest of the artwork to 'always' be available when one buys a from the store.
    Regards,
    John

  • Printing CD jewel case inserts

I am having trouble printing my cd covers the correct size. When I print a album cover, there is a white border outside the art work of about 5mm top and bottom and 15mm on one side. This after I trim the paper to fit into the cd case. Any ideas how I can correct this and strech thee art work to fit the cd case? Is this normal for iTunes? I am using Windows. Thanks.

    hi Neonix!
would you mind giving us a little more information about the album covers that are giving you trouble, and the circumstances under which they are giving you trouble?
for example, i just tried printing something out myself.
using itunes 6.0.2.23 i set up a playlist containg The Gun Club's "Miami" (bought from the Music Store and using the Music Store artwork).
i printed out a "White Mosaic" theme jewel case cover. the album cover art overlapped the top and bottom crop marks by about 2 and 3 mm respectively. the album cover art fell inside the fold guideline and the right edge crop mark by about 1 mm.
in Page Setup, i'm using US letter paper, portrait orientation, with 0.25 inch margins.
(if i know precisely what you're doing and what you're doing it with, i might be able to puzzle out what might be going on ...)
    love, b

  • Printing CD jewel cases prints all black

Can you help me with that problem??  I am running iTunes version
10.3.2... the  album covers on the CD Jewel Case are still printing that HUGE,
SOLID  BLACK SQUARE. I too have reported it to Apple iTunes support team
several times .. no response received. I too have noticed on the  internet that
there are literally HUNDREDS of us who are encountering  very same problem. I'm
convinced there is a serious bug in the recently  released iTunes update. This
is not my own artwork, it is album covers  which should print using White Mosaic
to create a CD jewel case cover.

  • Cannot print cd jewel case insert

I have two Epson printers connected to my Windows 7 (64-bit) run Dell computer (XPS 8100).  The printers I am using are the Workforce 845 and the Xpression XP-620 (which allows me to print right onto a special CD).  This is a new development that occurred since I upgraded to iTunes 12.1.1.4.
I am trying to print a CD jewel case insert for any playlist and as soon as I click on OK -- after I have set up all the desired options (for example, Print High Quality on Glossy Premium Photo Paper) the application freezes.  I hear a beep and then nothing happens.  I can't even close down iTunes without the help of the Task Manager to end the program.  Or I have to stop the iTunes process.
The only way I can print the jewel case insert is to print to Microsoft XPS Document Writer and then print it out from there:  it prints out the cd jewel case insert, including the guide marks for cutting out the insert.
I don't know if this is an iTunes/Apple issue or an Epson issue. Epson claims it's an Apple issue.
Has anyone else experienced this issue perhaps with other printers?
By the way, it seems now than I can print nothing at all, not even a list of the songs in a playlist.

I'm having the same issue - when I try to change any print options iTunes freezes and I have to end the process in Task Manager... I was trying to turn off duplex printing and the printer option screen wouldn't take any input. I changed the default printer properties to turn off duplex; iTunes did not reflect the updated preferences. It looks like there is an unknown issue with the printer setup module - guess that doesn't get much use anymore or Q/A should have picked up the issue...

  • Problem printing cd jewel case inserts

Problem printing cd jewel case inserts. Album art prints as a black box instead of in color as it should. Any suggestions?

Hi Mike .. tons of we iTunes users experiencing identical problem. I'm convinced there is a BUG within all of the Version 10 releases. I found an old 9.0 version on the internet .. downloaded it and VOILA .. the Jewel Case inserts printed out to  PERFECTION. Decided try one of the 10.0 versions again .. and the BLACK box minus album covers reappeared. If you're planning to try an older version .. make sure to SAVE the library and playlists on your drive in another folder (not in the iTunes directory). Name that folder something you will remember (i.e. Testing iTunes, etc.). There is a way to "recall those files" to the old version 9.0. Should you decide to go this route .. let me know if I can further assist. Good luck .. Helen

  • Printing CD Jewel Case

HELP! Is there a way to manipulate the song listings when printing the jewel case?

Personally, I have always found the few default print options in iTunes to be lacking, or certainly not the way I wanted to see printed listings. So I generally copy the entire playlist then paste it into a Spreadsheet. You can then delete the columns you don't want (say "Kind" which shows MP3, AAC, etc.) and can move columns I do want around. I can also add basic formatting like headers and shading/colors to text and cells.
If I want something more fancy, then I usually go to an image editing program and create my jewel inserts there and paste in the text listing from the spreadsheet to the image with the text tool.

  • Printing cd jewel cas insert in iTunes

What I am looking for is the ability to customize a cd insert with my own photo and text, in addition to the songs on the playlist. Any suggestions?
Of course I understand that "Printed with iTunes" remains the last words.

As you have discovered the built in features for printing CD jewel case labels are rather limited in iTunes.
However if you Google CD label maker - or some such thing, you will find many 3rd party solutions, some of which can inport information from iTunes.
    I haven't tried one myself so I can't make a specific recommendation.

  • Can't print color jewel case inserts anymore

I've noticed that with the last two updates of iTunes I can't print CD jewel case inserts in color anymore (The "Mosaic", "White Mosaic", and "Single Cover" choices are supposed to print in full color (and always have until recently) - they print in black and white now). I can still print in color in every other application (Safari, Pages, etc.)

I have exactly the same issue. Does anyone have a fix?
