Printing a list of events only???

I would like to print a list of all of my events for several months. Whenever I try to do this iCal prints every day out even days that have no event. Is there anyone I can print just a list of days that have events?? It would be even better if I could specifiy one event that is repeated to print as a list.

P.S. I tried to just copy and paste a copy of my list into Appleworks and print it that way but when I paste the events get all jumbled out of order!

Does anyone know if there is a way to print a list of events from iPhoto ... or, is there a way to see the list of events in the directory structure somewhere? I am trying to sync three different libraries, and the only way I know to do it is to export events from one iPhoto library and import them into the master library. Is there an easier way? If not, I'd like to be able to print a list of events so that I can more easily see which events are missing from the "master" so that I can create one master that I can then put on all three of my machines. The free version will only let you copy 10 photos or less at a time. IMO iPhoto Library Manager is well worth the money as it can let you manage multiple libraries so efficiently.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

Printing in list form , appointments ONLY in ical, not the whole month.

Hi there, I have already done a quick scan of the net and I am unable to come up with a solution.
All I want to do is be able to print out a list of appointments (with date etc) that I have made, not in month view, but just the dates with appointments in.
Is there an App to do this? I have found ICalPrint but it wont let me try it as a demo.
Please help, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just tried this for the first time lastnight and cannot believe how something so simple does not work. I have a calendar just for birthdays because I was working on a new iPhoto calendar. I wanted to print the list of birthdays and dates so I went to Print in iCal and saw the 'Print List' selection and thought that would work great.
I selected 1/1/08 as the start date and then selected for 365 days expecting just a list of upcoming events in the calendar. Instead it wants to print page after page with every date on it for the next year even if there is nothing scheduled for that day. It just prints 'None'. How hard would it be to have it just print what is in your calendar for the next xx days. I think it would be handy to have a list of upcoming events printed out to glance at or mark up.
I am glad I am not the only one that thought this was so simple, yet impossible to do. I hope it gets changed. Maybe with Leopard it will be different.

I have an iCal with events on random days over the last few years. I would like to print the days with events only, in order, with notes and times.
How / Can I do this?

I think the best (only?) option - although it's more labour-intensive than you want - is to go to each day separately and print it. Using a range of dates will, as you observe, waste loads of paper.

How do I print a list of only the album names I have in Itunes.

After you click "Album Listing," you will see a "Theme" pulldown menu that gives you the choice of "Songs by Album" or "List of Albums." Choose the latter.

Calendar events only go back one year in list view

Although visible in day & month views, calendar events only go back only about one year. And this also seems to preclude them from searches.
This seems to have been reported since 2008, and still exists in iOS 5. Any insight? Or do I need to switch back to Win Mobile?

In my calendar viewing in a list, I can see days back and forth.

How can I print a list of iTunes albums only, without songs?

Itunes offers printing of albums but, what I get is a list of my 500 classical music albums and all the songs/tracks therein. Whereas I want to print only an alphabetical list of my albums, no songs. Better yet I would like to print a list of all my playlists (left column) which no longer seems possible.

Make sure you have set the pulldown to "List of Albums" as pictured by Mr. McBlob. It is working fine on iTunes 11.1 on my machine.
It should give you a list of albums. The printout will indicate the "# Items" for each album, but will not list song titles.

Not easily. Two possibilities:
1) If all the events have some common feature (eg you have included "XXX" in all the summaries), search for that feature then select and copy the found items at the bottom of the window. You can then paste them into TextEdit or a spreadsheet for printing
2) You could write an Applescript to locate the events and write them into a text file for printing.
The first one will probably give you what you want.

I actually began this process by creating a new calendar called "Medical" and then each event was assogned to this calendar but the program still wants to print out every day of the month for even those days that have no events. The list view gives me the look I want and I have even tried deselecting all of the options and then reselecting them one at a time to no avail.

Calendar...list function shows only events for date select instead of events from that date forward.

Did you check that your universe object referring "Date of Completion" has Date data type?
Can you also provide the BOE verson you are using?
I remembered that the calendars were not displayed in XIR2 version.

Probably because it pre-dates Airprint technology. The fact that it has wifi doesn't change anything if it isn't an Airprint-supported printer

The only way that I know of is to print a list.
Just select print and choose "View" (List) and make your choices in Options.
