Printing-Adobe Reader

How to print in Adobe Reader v9 on Mac.
Having a problem printing an Adobe PDF file.
Any suggestions would be a help.
Thanks
JRC

IS there a specific reason you're using a 2-5 year old release of Reader?
You should be using 11.0.6 (http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/) with anything newer than OS 10.5.8 on a PPC

  • Slow printing Adobe Reader XI

    Hi there!
Like so many others, I am having a difficult time printing Adobe Reader documents. I am running system 10.6.8 (not sure which cat that is), Adobe Reader XI and my printer is a HP LaserJet P2015dn. I ran Software Update, re-installed the driver from the HP website and updated to Reader XI. I'm not sure what else I can do and printing at five minutes per page is really frustrating.
    Thank you for any advice!!

You might see if you have printer sharing on.   Go to Networks.  Click on sharing

First of all, why did you say yes to Nero Back up before researching what it does with files already on the HDD? When I install Nero, the Back Up is the first thing I disable, it is a nagging pain, there are much better backup programs available. There are several file recovery programs out there to recover deleted files, that is, if that is what happened. Also, if you haven't overwritten the files, so you should be able to find them.

  • How to change margin value in mode booklet printing Adobe Reader X ?

How to change margin value in mode booklet printing Adobe Reader X ?

Is this a form you created in Acrobat or is it a form that you're using with Reader? If the latter, there's nothing you can do if the field has been set up to format the field with a £ for the currency symbol.

  • I have the latest version of Adobe Reader and I still can not print adobe reader documents on my Mac Air laptop but I can print any other type of file or document?

What settings need to be changed in order to print in Adobe Reader?

Thank you for your kind and thoughtful input.
My Adobe reader is the most current one that's out there per Adobe.
    Something like XII  or higher.
As for my Outlook, it's MS Outlook 2003, and I believe it's Express Outlook.
If I disable the Protected Mode, per your suggestion, maybe that will work.
    I'll try it.
Thanks again, and if you have any other ideas, I would appreciate your
    thoughts.
    Thank you.

  • Printing Adobe Reader files with a DeskJet 6540 and OS X.6

Ever since I upgraded to Mac OS X.6, I've had problems printing .pdf files.  No matter what I teil the printer, it only prints one copy of one page of the document.  I've upgraded to Adobe Reader 9.2.0.  Is this a driver problem?  OS X.6 is supposed to take care of that.  Adobe Reader is the only software that causes this problem, and of course Adobe does not provide support.  Any ideas?

Hi There...I'm having the same problem, although I'm using XP Pro with Service Pack 3 and an OfficeJet 6500 , e709n ...and
it was working until this past couple of weeks.  I can't print ANY PDF, doesn't matter if it's old or new...  If I "do" a preview, all I see is a line of print across the top of the page.
Anything else will print other than PDF's, so of course it's driving me nuts! I've even reinstalled the driver for the printer; but it didn't make any difference except for my time and frustration. I hope someone can give us an answer soon...there are important docs I need to print out.

  • Default Duplex Printing - Adobe Reader 11

    Hello,
I recently installed Adobe Reader 11. I notice that, while the default for my Brothers duplex printer is set in WINDOWS 7 64 bit to Duplex, the Adobe Reader "Print" screen is displayed with the "Print on both sides of paper" box unchecked. If I check it, the printer does the duplex printing correctly.
My question is: why is Adobe Reader 11 overriding my duplex print option setting in Windows, and is there any way to correct this?
    Thanks

    Hi Atul,
thanks for your response. It turns out the problem is not restricted to Adobe Reader, but also seems to be happening with other Windows programs (like Firefox).
My printer is a Brother HL-5370DW which is network connected. I have set up the print preferences (using the Windows Control Panel Devices and Features) so the default is Duplex printing; however, when I go to print from any Windows program (including Adobe Reader), the preferences box shows Duplex is not set per the default. If I change it to Duplex, it works fine - just curious why the Default Duplex setting isn't used.
Any ideas would be appreciated - and thanks for your help....

  • Coments not Printing Adobe Reader 9

    Hi,
I have an issue where coments are not printing on my PDF Doc, even though I have selected  Comments & Markups in the print properties.  I have treid a different printer and a later version of Adobe Reader and on different machines but it makes no difference.  I have come across other people with this problem and one suggestion is to make a change in the "Edit, Preferences, Comments" but the comments section is missing from mine.
Any help in resolving this would be really appreciated.
    Regards

Open the PDF in Preview and check that you can print from that application.
If you updated to Acrobat Reader 11, does this print the same PDF?
And when you do have problems with printing a PDF from Acrobat, from the print dialog there is an Advanced button. Select this and you will see an option to print as image. This can often help with getting some PDFs printed.

  • Outlook 2010 Quick Print - Adobe Reader 11.0.10 Crashing

We have an issue where when printing an outlook email with multiple PDF attachments using the quick print button in outlook; Adobe reader will crash and some of the PDFs will not print.
We have tried this wil multiple printers, printer drivers, computers, users, and both x86 and x64 versions of Windows 7.
We have reinstalled Adobe Reader, Outlook, Printers.
We have disabled the secure (Protected Mode).
We have recreated the user's windows profile from scratch and had them use different computers.
The issue does not happen everytime but it does happen a majority of the time.
Does anyone have an more troubleshooting steps that we may try I am open to any suggestions.
    -Shane

Yes, but adobe will still crash intermittently if I try to print multiple PDFs at the same time.
    For example:
I have 3 PDFs in a folder, I highlight them all, right click, Click on print.
It will usually print the first one, but then adobe reader will crash and the other two PDFs will not print.
    Thanks,
    Shane

  • Problem printing Adobe Reader documents (PDF). Text files and MS-WORD print fine. Help?

I cannot get my ePrint to work with Adobe Acrobat (ReaderX) and pdf files.  I get a "Failed to send" message.  I have NO problems printing text or MS-WORD files so I know my Internet, printer, and local intranet are working.  Help?

When you say the bottom right of you screen, are you talking about your computer screen?  If you are then, you are not using ePrint, which is fine.  You may just be having some wireless network issues.  Try this.  When it asks for the DNS information on step six, enter Google's public DNS (Preferred = 8.8.8.8 | Alt = 8.8.4.4).  If that does not help, let me know  and I will see what I can do.
By the way, if you are emailing the documents to your printer, which is ePrint, you are right about the file size limit, however, the limit is 5 MB.  Most likely you are not Creating PDF or Docx documents that are anywhere near that size, so that should not be the issue if you are using ePrint.  If you are using ePrint, try turning the router and printer off.  Turn the router on and let it become stable.  Turn the printer back on.  Turn off and on any other devices that are connected to your wireless network as well, so they can re-establish network connection.  Now retry the ePrint job.  If that does not work, let me know.

  • Printing Adobe Reader xi

takes a couple of minutes to print pdf documents using wireless printer

This particular PDF, I used a fully licensed version of PDF995.  I have done it this way for a long time with no issue.
I did double-check to make sure "Combine with previous PDF" is unchecked in the PDFedit995 software, and it is.
