  • Attachment from an email

    Hi All,
I just want to ask how to view an attachment from an email using ipod touch? Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    TOpher

    Fromt he Users Guide:
    Viewing Attachments
iPod touch displays image attachments in many commonly used formats (JPEG, GIF,
and TIFF) inline with the text in email messages. iPod touch can play many types of
audio attachments, such as MP3, AAC, WAV, and AIFF. You can download and view files
(such as PDF, webpage, text, Pages, Keynote, Numbers, and Microsoft Word, Excel, and
PowerPoint documents) that are attached to messages you receive.
View an attached file:  Tap the attachment to open it in Quick Look.
You may need to download the attachment first by tapping  (if it appears at the end
of the message in a dotted box with the document name).
    Tap attachment
    to download
You can view attachments in portrait or landscape orientation.
If the format of an attached file isn’t supported by iPod touch, you can see the name of
the file but you can’t open it. iPod touch supports the following document types:
    .doc Microsoft Word
    .docx Microsoft Word (XML)
    .htm webpage
    .html webpage
    .key Keynote
    .numbers Numbers
    .pages Pages
    .pdf Preview, Adobe Acrobat
    .ppt Microsoft PowerPoint
    .pptx Microsoft PowerPoint (XML)
    .rtf Rich Text Format
    .txt text
    .vcf contact information
    .xls Microsoft Excel
    .xlsx Microsoft Excel (XML)
Open an attached file with another app:  Touch and hold the attachment, then
choose an app. If no apps are available, you can choose to open the attachment in
    Quick Look.
Save an attached photo to your Saved Photos album:  Tap the photo, then tap Save
Image. If the photo hasn’t been downloaded yet, tap the download notice first.
Save an attached video to your Saved Photos album:  Touch and hold the
attachment, then tap Save Video. If the video hasn’t been downloaded yet, tap the
    download notice first.

  • Why is the printed font so small on a print job I send from my email to my new HP Photosmart C510

Why is the printed font so small on a print job I send from my email to my new HP Photosmart C510? I sent it via HP ePrint from a lotus notes based email account. It was just a text message but it was so small on the print out I could not begin to read it.
    Thanks
    Matt

At the document you plan to print, go to "file" in upper right corner.  Select "print preview".  Atop that window, select font size.  Recommended minimum 60%.  May need to adjust with different documents.
    Good luck!

  • How can i print a document attached to a email from my icloud email address??

I am trying to print out a document from my icloud email but Im not sure I i can do that?? is it possible?

I understand that I can't add an attachment in Reader.
I'm attaching the approval form using Acrobat Pro.
The hope is that the recipient(s) can open the attachment through the attachment panel, add their data, then save and close it.
Like I mentioned, it worked once (and only once) and I would like to get it to work regularly.
    Thanks.

  • How do I open a PDF attachment from an email so I can edit it for reply on an iPad?

I need to open a PDF attachment on an email, edit it and resend it back to the originator on an iPad. Help?

A PDF is a graphics document, so you can't edit it without access to an expensive program like Adobe Acrobat.

  • IE8 crashes printing to Acrobat 9 from Yahoo message

Anyone who belongs to a Yahoo list area is probably familiar with the print command to print a message either to a printer or to Acrobat (this is not the print command at the top of IE to print the whole page). With IE7, I had no problems printing to PDF. With IE8, printing to Acrobat crashes IE at the point where the window comes up showing the folder structure on the local drive and a generic filename for the PDF. The cursor blinks at the highlighted filename but IE is frozen. I can't overwrite the filename, change folders or cancel the print. I have to use Task Manager to kill the app. Oddly enough, an error message comes up and says I can't kill the process because the system is waiting for a User command - a command I can't execute because IE is frozen. I assumed this is an IE problem but there were no answers in an MS forum except to upgrade Acrobat. I upgraded to Acrobat Pro 9.1.1. Same problem.
The reason I put the question here is that I can print the mesage to a local printer, just not to Acrobat, so it looks like a compatibility problem.
Any hints except restoring back to IE7? If this were a valid option, I would restore my Vista Business 32 system back to XP. For what it's worth,  I installed IE8 because of security problems with Vista and IE7 per MS.

I have found this to be a problem with any web page that has a print command. The solution I have found is to open task manager, go to the process tab, kill the "acrotray.exe" process. This removes the locked "File|Save" dialog box. Then with the printer friendly formated window open I choose the print command from IE (or use the CTRL-P short-cut if there is no menus) and the "File|Save" dialog opens again this time not locked and I can save the PDF to a file.
This solution will not work if the embedded print command does not first display the printer friendly output in a window, but only presents the dialog boxes. In that case there is no work around.
I have looked all over the Adobe and Microsoft sites and although I can replicate this issues 100% of the time, there appears to be no discussion or solution other than your post of the problem.
I have opened a support case with Adobe, but I am not holding my breath.
    Good Luck.

  • How do I print using my iPad from Yahoo email

I have been trying to print from my email and I am unable too.

    Hi Megellon,
There are two ways to print from your iPad if you have an ePrint capable printer:
Forward the email to your printer's ePrint address (ex. [email protected]).
Use the action icon, within the Mail app, to select the print function and print over your local Wi-Fi.
*If you are unsure if your printer is ePrint or AirPrint (the second option) capable, please post again with the model printer that you are using.
If I have solved your issue, please feel free to provide kudos and make sure you mark this thread as solution provided!
Although I work for HP, my posts and replies are my own opinion and not those of HP.

  • How to extract a attachment from an email

    Hello SDN,
we receive email via the configuration of TAC SO28 and trigger a workflow. What would be a good/possible way to extract potential attachments (such as pdf's or tif's) from the email within SAP workflow?
Are there any methods or FM's, which could extract them from the binary?
    I appreciate any advise!
    Cheers,
    Torsten

    Hi Torsten,
Does it automatically convert to a SAP Office document? If so you could use the SAP Office apis... search for function modules names SOAPI1.
Alternatively you may be able to use one of the OTF routines - again search on OTF for suitable function modules.
