Is there anyway to make blogs into books the same way we're able to order photos albums from our photos?

I've never tried to print a book page directly, so don't know if it is possible.

Printing document as a "book" with two images per page

I am a new user and am struggling to take a 100 page text document with imbedded photos and print it like a "book." What I'd like to do is print using 2 images to a page (the same image) and duplexing, so that I essentially print two "books" that are duplexed (I will then cut the document in half) and then bind. I have not been able to figure out how to print 2 page 1's, then two page two's, etc., as a single print job. Can anyone help me?

Not sure if I fully understand what you are trying to achieve, but this may help.
When you are in the book layout page over to the left you will see thumb nail images of your book layout. Starting with the cover and then inside cover and pages etc etc. Below this to the left are a row of icons, choose the plus "+" then scroll down to the bottom where you get a choice of "Duplicate page." Hope that helps?

Copy that address
Paste 30 times (or however many labels you have per page)
Select those 30 duplicate entries, and go to print
Viola! (When you are done you can delete the excess entries)

You cannot invoke "automatic" printing from the server side. Best what you can do is to download the whole PDF file inline and let the client decide what to do with it. If you really, really want to pick a page out of the PDF file and display that page only, then you should use a PDF reader API for Java to be able to pick a page programmatically. iText is such a PDF reader API for Java. You can find it here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/itext

Does the book print gray pages? please help

i know within the book you can make a page a blank page with no photos, however i am using the contemporary template and you can have the option of three photos on a page. i like the way it looks with one photo all the way to the left and the other two spaces left blank. the problem is, the other spaces are left gray. will they print gray? will they print white? will it be auto adjusted for me when printed? i tried highlighting these areas and going to "blank" but it made the whole page blank.

Actually, it IS possibly to plain print gray pages or any color you like. Using Photoshop or any similar program, create a new document that is the size of your book pages, such as 11 by 8.5 (Photoshop command File>New...), fill the page with a solid color or anything you like (Layer>New Fill Layer>Solid Color...), then save the document as a JPG or other standard image format (File>Save As...). Then go back to iPhoto and import the colored page you just created (File>Import to Library...). Drag the imported page into your book and place it wherever you like. Similarly, you can print book pages with textures, stripes, pink polka dots, or any design you can imagine. Have fun!

How to print specific pages out of a book file

I've searched around but I cannot find any way of printing specific pages out of a book file. Has anyone got any ideas? I have a 100 page book file with 20 files, and doing print outs of sections is a nightmare. I want to be able to print page 5 out of file A and page 6 out of file B together so I can duplex them. I've tried scripting this but I can't seem to set the page range of the print preferences of the book file.

Print specific pages in sections of book

I want to print two sections of my book, but i don't want to print all pages in either section. When i use the "print selected documents" the page range is greyed out. Is there a way to print these duplex pages without having to print it in it's entirety? For instance: INDD #1 has three pages (numbered 1 to 3). INDD #2 has three pages (numbered 4 to 6). I only want to print duplex pages of 3 and 4. Is that possible? Please advise. Thanks in advance for your help.

I don't believe so. You could print to PDF (or to postscript file, then distill) and perhaps print the selected pages from the PDF, but I suspect you'd still need to place them into a new document to get the spread. There's no way ID is going to directly make a spread from pages in separate files.

Adding a photo gallery to a blog page?

I see the last queries about being able to do this are from 2006. I'm wondering if it is any easier now. I'm creating a website for a film series project. I used a 'blog' template so I could easily manage about 20 separate films (without having scores of pages to deal with). Right now each of those 'blog' pages has a large number of free floating photos (shots from the film). They take too long to load. I'm wondering if I could create a photo gallery instead, ON the blog entry page, that would contain the pics, and allow for fast loads?
Just wondering how one might create a photo gallery on a 'blog' entry page.

Having looked at your site, I would say that you layout is very artistic and would be completely ruined by using a photos template.
DPI doesn't realy come into it as this is used for print. iWeb does have image optimization but its better to turn it off and reduce the image to the dimensions (in px) that it will appear on the web page before dragging it into the app.
If you want to maximise the SEO and make the pages more interesting for us humans, I would add descriptive captions to the images and put them in the spaces between the staggered image layout.
If you are comtemplating designing for mobile devices, you need to use every trick in the book to to reduce file sizes and cut content to the bone.
I have been using responsive designs for quite a while now and learned a lot of hard lessons along the way on what works and what doesn't on mobile devices. Some more examples HERE.
iPads are big enough for a traditional website to work on them as long as you pay attention to making the links and other user controls finger sized. I did figure out a way to make an iPhone compatible site using iWeb if you are interested...

I must admit that I detest Wordpress although there are some responsive desgns available now. I did a test with one of the free ones but its a total pain and there doesn't appear to be any plugins for HTML5, responsive media players. I had to figure this out all on my own. Sorry I can't work out your question BUT if you wish to merge many pdf files to one pdf file you can use this free program (download from the following link):

This program also allows you to split one big unprotected pdf file to many smaller pdf files such as extract few chapters from a thick book.
