Printing Book or Page from iphoto

I want to make a themed page from the iphoto book, save it as a pdf but only want to create one page to print. Is that possible? Also, and more importantly, can I flip the page or book so it is 8.5 x 11 rather than 11 x 8.5?

Sure - File ==> print and choose the print to PDF option and select only that page
You also can preview the book - Before ordering your book preview it using this method - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1040 - and save the resulting PDF for reference and print one page form the resulting PDF

Anyone else also still having problems to order a printed book with pictures from iPhoto? Can you help?

When I try to order a printed book, I can not get any further than to "check out". Then I get "oops the store is temporarily unavailable". It has been like this for the past two days.

Also what print product store are you trying to order from? Give this fix posted by another user a try:
Quit iPhoto.
From the Finder menu bar, choose Go > Utilities to access your Utilities folder (or press Shift-Command-U).
In your Utilities folder, open Keychain Access.
Find the "NetServices" entry in your Keychain Access window.
Select the "NetServices" entry and press the delete key.
Reopen iPhoto and attempt to place your order again.
You should be prompted to enter your account information if you deleted the Keychain entry successfully.
After entering your account information, you should be able to complete your order.

How do I print a configuration page from a Mac with Snowleopard? Printer is workinhg fine, but I just put in a new cartridge and I'd like to know how many pages I'm printing.

Why can't I print a web page from my Android 4.1 phone to my 8500a printer? e-print is working.

Why can't I print a web page from my Samsung Android 4.1 to my Officejet Pro 8500A. eprint is working, so I can send e-mails to my e-print address, but when I try to print a web page, it says that I don't have a printer. Can someone help me with this?

How to print a specific page from a given PDF document, using command line, please?

I need your advise, please. My customer requires to print a specfic page from a pdf document they receive, using command line or 3rd party solution.
Anything you can advise, please? I have seen AcroRD32.exe options, but can only print the whole document.

Not sure if there are any examples. The Acrobat SDK is a must, but it is best treated as documentation to study rather than examples to copy. The examples only illustrate a tiny fraction of the capabiliies.
(One other note: the solution must involve the client owning Acrobat; Acrobat is not for server use).

When the device is set to Automatic for time, it is pulling the time from the cell towers. Contact the carrier to ensure they are not experiencing issues.
Also, check the time on your computer that the device syncs with, make sure that the time (and time zone) on the computer are accurate.

Select the photos and click print - select the printer, paper size and print size (be sure that they will physically fit on the paper) and click customize - on the resulting page click on the settings icon - the gear looking thingy at the bottom - and in the selection window set print multiple photos on a page - the preview should reflect this change - and click print again to continue

Difficulty printing what I want from iphoto 08

Another feature I have found annoying in 08 is that I do not seem to be able to dictate what size the image I am printing is printed at (ie: wallet, 3x5, 5x7, 8x10) - I have only been able to find the basic one size fits all.
Along the same lines, when printing a contact sheet you use to be able to print a full page contact of the same image and now I am at a loss and have only had it show 1 image with the remainder of the page blank.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

I ran into the same problem with the contact sheet printing too. iPhoto 06 was so much easier and straightforward with that type of printing, it's a shame it's become convoluted in iPhoto 08. That said, I figured out a way to do it:
Step 1: Figure out how many photos, at the size you want, will fit on 1 page. For these steps, I'm going to print 3x5 photos and know that 4 3x5 photos will fit on 1 page.
Step 2: Select 4 photos making sure 1 is the photo you want to print and click Print.
Step 3: Keep the layout set to Standard (not Contact Sheet) and change the Print Size to 3x5.
Step 4: Click the Customize button.
Step 5: Switch the view at the top to show all the photos. You should then see 4 photos with checkmarks in the bottom right of the photos.
Step 6: Select from the top the 1 photo you want to print and then drag it onto each of the 4 photos below. Your photo will then appear as all 4 photos and will be the only one with a checkmark at the top.
Step 7: Print away.

To check ink levels I am told to print self test. page from cpu or printer.

There is no way to print a test page on my" psc 2410 all in one" connected to a HP cpu with Win 7, 64 bit. Is there a workaround/

The page here shows how to print a self-test report from the front panel, but it does not appear to have ink level information. I have not used a PSC 2410 for years, but the following may give you what you need: press the # and * buttons together on the printer. The screen will say "Enter special key combination". Press 1 2 3. This should bring up a service menu. Use the right arrow button repeatedly to bring up a "Special Reports" screen, OK, then right arrow to select "Cartridges" or some similar, then press OK. A page will print with ink level information shown about the middle of the page.

How to print a specific page from the internet

I have tried to print a specific page, and get about seven pages that are linked to it, without
seeing the specific page I wanted printed out. The page settings under printer only lists header and footer
info, and no choices to print only this page or frame. There is no way to print one specific page on this printer?
I always was able to do this with the Epson printer I just replaced, but unable to with this printer.
Please help! There must be a way to do this when printing from the internet. Thanks for any help.

I don't have any idea what you are trying to print, nor do I wish to know. Smiling.
The key may be to control this in Print Preview like you would with most things when you are printing from a Browser.

Officejet 6500 prints 1 blank page from pdf files and nothing else

We just installed this printer. It prints from websites, word, quickbooks just fine. It also successfully copies and faxes. When we try to print from a adobe pdf attachment it prints one blank page and that is all. This also happens when we try to print from googledocs.

I have the same problem with an HP Officejet Pro L7680. Moreover, it now only prints double-sided!

Drop and drag photos to a web page from iPhoto with IOSX

I have a Macbook Pro 2009 model and have always been able to drop and drag photos from iPhoto or the desktop to Facebook pages or emails
and since installing OS X Yosemite this feature no longer works. I see from other discussions that air drop only works for models of Mackbook later than 2012. Will there be a resolution for this issue for those of us with otherwise well functioning computers pre-2012?

Printing 4x6 photo's from Iphoto

for some reason i cannot get my parents g5 imac to print from iphoto to a 4x6 picture paper in their HP photosmart 7550 printer. I have all the drivers installed. but i can seem to get it to print out correctly. it just prints the image really small on the photo paper. but on the "preview" before i print it looks how it is spposed to.
any help?

Printing a web page from a Nexus 10 tablet to HP Deskjet 3055A printer

Hi All
I am trying to print web pages from my Google Nexus 10 32GB tablet to my HP deskjet 3055A Cloud printer.
I am able to print off documents, emails, email attachments, etc successfully after sending them to the specified printer email address.
I am also signed into Google Chrome at the time, and they say on their help link that I should go to Menu, then select Print from the options list, but Print is NOT in the list.
Can you please help me?

The menu option to Print is only available with Android 4.4.
