Printing book through photoshop elements 6

How can I print a photo book i have edited through the services of photoshop?  I try to order it and it tells me there is no service.  I want it printed the way I edited it.  Please advise.

Does this happen only in PSE6 or in other programs that can print graphics, like Acrobat or Word or PowerPoint?
I only ask because my LexMark started to vary color saturation shortly before the print head dumped an entire cartridge onto one page and it gave up the ghost.
It wasn't just pictures. Word documents would go from light to dark. Graphics (business cards, labels) would print bright and then dim on the same page.

I installed a new printer and now Photoshop Elements tells me I can't print.  The error message is "The saved printer information is not compatible with this version of Photoshop Elements, or the saved printer is no longer available.  You will need to check your printer settings before printing."  I have uninstalled and re-installed Photoshop Elements, checked my printer settings and still I can't print a photo.

I created a photo book in Photoshop elements 11 that contains png files with the invisible backgrounds.  When I export the book to a jpg or a pdf, the png files appear with white backgrounds.  Any suggestions on how to fix this?

jpg and pdf formats don't support transparency. You need to use a format such as tif, png or psd that does.

  • Can't print from my photoshop elements 10

I can't print to my Epson R3000 printer from the Photoshop Elements 10 I have installed on a Mac OS 1.7.5

      Are you using Organizer
Create >> Photo Prints >> Print With Local Printer
If so try from Full Edit:
    File >>Print
Then click the print button to open the OSX print dialog.

  • HP Advanced Photo Paper not listed in my printer profile in Photoshop Elements 7

I have an HP 6310 Officejet printer and have successfully printed photos on (8" X 10") HP Premier Plus photo paper.  However, (4" X 6") HP Advanced Photo Paper does not appear in my Photoshop Elements list of papers for selection.
    Can you help?

In case you are not getting the option to select the paper from PSE, you can go to printer settings through the icon present in the print dialog box, there you can select the paper. The paper selected in the advanced options should be reflected in PSE as well.

  • Making a book in Photoshop Elements

I read that Photoshop uses Shutterfly to print books; I am in New Zealand, do I have access to the same service as I couldn't find anywhere in Elements to do this?
Secondly, my book pages start with a title page which I presume is for the inside. I want to print a cover for the book also, do I need to do this separately?

If you have a CREATE button in elements, then choose photobooks.  If you have a Shutterfly option, you will find it there.  If not, no problem.  On the Shutterfly website they provide blank templates for each size book.  Follow the templates to create your own pages.  They also provide templates for the cover, spine, and backcover.  Otherwise, you can use the Shutterfly serviceand upload your pictures to Shutterfly and create your book there.

  • Can't print photos in Photoshop Elements 10 using HP 410a printer.

I have both Photoshop Elements 7 and Photoshop Elements 10. I have a Dell XPS Studio 9000 compuer running Windows 7 Professional with 8 GB Ram. The printer is a HP C410a All-In-One printer with a fax. I can print fine usint this setup in Photoshop 7. When using PhotoshoElements 10 it always sends the print job to the fax printer which will not print. It will not allow me to rename the fax printer, so what is the solution?
    Thank you.

Suggest that you rename the printer. It is my understanding that Elements becomes "confused" with somewhat similar names

In Devices & Printers in control panel, right click the printer and go to Printer Properties.
Please let us know if this works after renaming.

  • New Mac Book and Photoshop Elements

My daughter just bought a new MacBook (Mac OS X 10.5.4 2.4 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM) and tried to install my Photoshop Elements software onto it. My Photoshop is kind of old (Elements 2.0), but I use it on my Mac all the time with no problems. But when she installed it, it didn't work right. When she opens it, it goes through it's usual start up stuff, then she gets a window that says "An unexpected and unrecoverable problem has occurred because of a program error. Photoshop will now exit." What does this mean? Is there anything I can do to help her use this software?
    TIA,
    Sue

Photoshop Elements 2 is not compatible with Leopard. Versions 3 and up will work.

  • Printing photo in Photoshop Elements

When I print several photos from the APE some of them have black vertical strips in several different locations. I am using an hp photosmart 7760 printer, HP photo best quality paper, selected 4x6 photo w/tab and borderless copy.  I have calibrated my printer and have replaced the print cartridges. The photos have been taken directly from my camera to my computer.
I then tried to use the photos with the Microsoft software on the computer to make the photo and the lines disappear.  What is happening in the Photoshop Elements Software to create the lines?

Sarah, the stripes do not show on the monitor when I am working on the
image in PE, but they are there now both when printing from within PE &
    when printing from another program.
If I take the source jpg & print it with another program the bars are not
there. If I do only an adjustment layer, they are not there when printing
from within PE.  I don't know when they developed, but it was somewhere
    within PE.
Printing other things in PE that are minimally processed, I have heavy
(framing?) black lines bounding the image, in some cases only the leading &
trailing edge, in other cases on all four sides of the image.  They aren't
    desired.
Thanks for any help you can offer.

  • Printing problems from Photoshop Elements to Epson XP-800

I cannot print photogrpaic images with my desktop MAC (OS X10.8.4) from Photoshop Elements 9.0 to my new Epson XP-800 printer. Printing is not a problem with  Word text or images from iPhoto- it is only with PSE that there is a problem.  The problem persists even if I try using a cabled connection rather than WiFi.  I have ensured latest software from Epson has been downloaded.  This problem did not occur when using the same system with the previous printer (Epson Photo Stylus 1290).
Any suggestions for solving this rather than just a workaround of moving the edited PSE image back to iPhoto & printing from there (which admittedly does work but shouldn't be necessary).
    Grateful for any help.

  • Printing problems using Photoshop Elements 6

I have been using Photoshop Elements 6 for several years and am currently having printing problems, e.g., some prints are too light, some are too saturated, or too dark...they just don't look like the screen which looks pretty good.  I use Spyder 3 Pro to calibrate my monitor.  Does anyone know of any websites that address these type of problems.  Looking for some advice, tips, etc.
    Thanks.

  • Printing Metadata in Photoshop Elements

  • How to find Printer preferences in Photoshop Elements 8 for Mac?

Does anyone have an idea where or how to access the printer preferences or dialog box through Elements 8 for mac? I have an Epson R2880 and am trying to access the printer preferences to be able to change the paper type, print in B/W or choose different things. I am able to access this on Elements 8 for Windows but not for Mac, does it exist or am I looking in the wrong place?

After you click Print in the PSE print window, the OS X print window appears. You may need to click the arrow to the right of the printer's name to expand the dialog box to see the menus, but you'll find the paper/ink settings in the pulldown menu in the middle of the larger window.

  • Book for Photoshop Elements 4.0 Mac

PE4 has been available for the Mac for at least several months but every book in the bookstore is specific for the Windows version only. Is there a Mac version published yet or will there be? How much difference is there between the Windows and Mac version (if I bought a Win book, would I be really unhappy and frustrated)?

There are no books specifically for PE 4/Mac. Since the windows version was released 6 months before the mac version and nobody had access to the mac version at that time, no publisher was willing to wait that many months to include the mac keystrokes (although I believe Richard Lynch's Hidde Power book may do that, since it was pretty late in arriving).
However, the editor part of PE is exactly the same on either platform so you can use any Elements book if you substitute Command for Ctrl and Option for Alt in the keystrokes and ignore anything about the organizer.
EDIT If Adobe does eventually release a mac version of PE 5, you can expect pretty much the same situation again, BTW.
