Printing Contact List

I contacted Apple Support in the Chat, and they could not answer my question. How do I print a hard copy of my Contact List?

One way (and there may be others) would be to sync the contacts with iCloud which is a good idea anyway. You do that by going to Settings > iCloud > Contacts and setting it to on.
You can then use any computer's internet browser and log in to https://www.icloud.com and click on Contacts and then click on the gear-shaped icon at lower left and click Select All  and then click Print.

  • Unable to print contact list

    Hello,
Despite numerous attempts at different times, I have been unable to print my contact list from the cloud. Has anyone actually been able to do this?
I select all my contacts (with a check mark), then try to print. I always get the following error message, which is pretty useless:
"Something happened while we were trying to print your request. Please give it another try."  I give it another try, and get the same message.

Tried that, but most of what appears in the spreadsheet is gibberish.
I suspect that the print option has never worked and never will. But thank you for trying to help.

  • Printing contacts list - not alphabetical?

I'm trying to print out a group in my contacts list.  I want all of the info - address, phone, email.  When I choose to print the group as a "list" - it puts the contacts in what appears to be a random order for printing.  Not alphabetical.  And there appears to be no way to change that order.  Can anyone help me?  I also tried printing them as a pocket address list - but it cuts people off mid-card - putting their address in one column, their phone in another and actually even cutting off the bottom half of an individual line!
    Help! Please?  Thanks.

  • Printing Contacts List from Backup Assistant Webpage.

What is the trick to printing your contact list from the Backup Assistant webpage?
I selected all contacts, then selected "Select All Contact" then clicked Go.
I used no filters, and it shows I have selected all 156 contacts, but when I click on Go (to print), nothing happens. If I click Command P on my Mac, it just prints the 8 contacts on that page. There is no way to view all of my contacts at once, otherwise it would be easy to print them, but as it stands now, I would have to click on each Next Page to print them all, 8 contacts per page, meaning 19 pages...a colossal waste of paper.
Anybody have an idea on this?

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with printing your contacts! I definitely want to make sure you can get the details you need from your online contact info. Are you able to export the contacts instead? This may allow you to format them in a way you'd prefer to print them. http://vz.to/19joHKi

  • TS4408 printing contact list

When I print my contact list (or one group of contacts list), the emails and phone numbers do not show, only the names and addresses.
Can you tell me how to get all info to show?

When you start the print operation from Contacts' menu, you have the ability to select what gets printed.

Your profile states you have a 8220 Flip phone... check App World for a something In Touch Contacts app, if I recall it will backup and export to a CSV file.
If you have a Q10 as this thread is about, App World has several, some for free, some paid. BackupPro is one.

  • Why do printed contact lists wrap the data?

I want to print out all of the people I have in the Contacts app to serve as a backup.  I was going to use the "Lists" style that is available, but noticed that there seems to be a bug.  In the print preview I noticed that it wraps email addresses and phone numbers when there is plenty of space to not make it necessary.
Then I printed the first page and verified that it indeed wraps the content.  Does this happen with other people?  I don't want to print it out if its going to look like this.
    Thank you!

Go into settings - messages - receive at - you can have multiple ways to recover texts such as your mobile number or multiple emails, make sure your caller ID also in message settings is exactly same as one of the received by lists and be sure your contacts have you listed by the caller I'd u chose

  • Print contact list from my blackberry??

I'm trying to print all my address book from my black berry  8820.  i assume i connect it to  my computer but then what?
    thanks,
    Jim

So what you need to do, is connect it to your computer, then Run the BackUp Program, so it saves a backup to your computer. Then you need to install ABC Amber BlackBerry Converter which is $19.95 from http://www.processtext.com/abcblackberry.html Or the demo verison only does 10 at a time. It can do eveything, make list, turn it into PDF HTML everything. There really is no free way to do this. But it shows everything! Like what buttons your pressed during calls, deleted text messages, just everything.

  • When printing a list in Address Book, how can I select more than the default Attributes and keep them selected when I print again? I want to print ALL information for contacts so I have email address, notes, phone, company, title, etc all on one page.

When printing a list in Address Book, how can I select more than the default Attributes and keep them selected when I print again? I want to print ALL information for contacts so I have email address, notes, phone, company, title, etc all on one page. I don't want to have to check off an additional 5 or 6 attributes each time I print out contact information. Is there a way to change the default setting for printing lists, so it is not just "phone," "photo," and "job title?"

I have a user who wants to do this same thing. I did not find any way either to default the attributes to anything other than what you see the first time. Seems like such a trivial thing, hard to believe they do not allow it. I did find a program for this called iDress but I can't seem to download it from any links on the Internet. Not sure if it is free or not, but it was recommended by a link on the Mac support site.

  • I have a new MacBook Pro with OS10.8.2 and cannot get Contacts to print a list of addresses with pictures showing.  There is a check box selecting "picture" which has been checked - but no picture.  This worked fine on OS10.7.5.  Problem??

First, back up all data immediately, as your boot drive might be failing.
There are a few other possible causes of generalized slow performance that you can rule out easily.
    Reset the System Management Controller.
If you have many image or video files on the Desktop with preview icons, move them to another folder.
If applicable, uncheck all boxes in the iCloud preference pane.
Disconnect all non-essential wired peripherals and remove aftermarket expansion cards, if any.
Check your keychains in Keychain Access for excessively duplicated items.
If you have more than one user account, you must be logged in as an administrator to carry out this step.
Launch the Console application in the same way you launched Activity Monitor. Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
    View ▹ Show Log List
    from the menu bar.
Select the 50 or so most recent entries in the log. Copy them to the Clipboard (command-C). Paste into a reply to this message (command-V). You're looking for entries at the end of the log, not at the beginning.
When posting a log extract, be selective. Don't post more than is requested.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Important: Some personal information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting. That should be easy to do if your extract is not too long.

  • Why does my contact list not print properly?

I have printed out a contact list for an album of pictures, but it doesn't print them in the order I have selected to view them, i.e. by title alphabetically.  Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can do this? They appear to be in no order at all.

    Try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
         User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder (Snow Leopard and Earlier).
or with Lion, Mt. Lion or Mavericks delete the contents the User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto/
    Data/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.
3 - reboot, launch iPhoto, verify the sort in the album and try again.
NOTE: In Lion and Mountain Lion the Home/Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and press the Return key - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
If you're running Mavericks, 10.9,  go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:
where you can check the Show Library Folder checkbox.

  • HT3952 Printing Labels from Mac (Maverick) Contacts list

I have successfully printed a sheet of 21 labels (Avery 7160).  I created a new group in Mac (Maverick) Contacts List and typed each address individually for this mailshot.  It worked without problem.
Now I have opened another new group and typed in an identical address for each label.  When I try to print out the sheet of labels, it will only print one label.  It even does this when I add some text to each label as to avoid them  being identical.  Can you help please?

  • How do I print out my contact list

I lost some of my e-mail contacts and I cannot print the list of what I have left. I cannot even bring up printing choices.

Are you trying to print a list from a webmail site such as Yahoo! mail, Gmail, or Windows Live (Hot) Mail? Or is this from Thunderbird? I think the procedures would be different in each case.
