  • Print Moducle - Custom Package (New Page) Query

    Hi
    I've made a custom template (two 7x5 images over each other) on a custom page and save this template.  I know want to create a new page (by clicking on "new page" under "cells" menu) BUT I want to copy over the cells/page from page 1.
    e.g.  page 1 is perfect, I now want to create a new page with same settings.  If I create a new page and then click on my template it just starts again with 1 page and my template!
    Aarrgghh.. surely there's a way to create a new page using existing template/page?
    Please advise - it's driving me around the bend!

    Hi,
    You mention that you use A6 landscape 148 x 105mm and you use Computation below to convert page format length to inches.
    148 mm = 5.82677 "
    When you use landscape orientation, usually the shorter 105mm will represent the height of the paper. i.e. With landscape the width is greated than the height. So on this case the height wopuld be 105mm or 4.1 in
    So in the printer initialization it wpuld be:
    set page length to 10.5cm (~25 lines at 6 LPI)
    \e\0x43\0x19
    however, I don't think this is the reason for the preview problem. The printer initialization should only affect the print. What is the setting for the Lines/Inch in the sapscript form? SE71 -> <Form> -> Basic Settings
    This could affect the preview.

    Hi
    U need to force the call of this new page.
    I suppose your sapscript is arrange with 2 page: FIRST and NEXT, where FIRST has NEXT as next page.
    So the system automatically print the pages FIRST and NEXT: u need to insert the statament:
    /: NEW-PAGE LAST
    in the MAIN window.
    U can create a text element NEW_PAGE and you'll call it as soon as you've finished to print the main data:
    /E NEW_PAGE
    /: NEW-PAGE LAST
    U can use the fm CONTROL_FORM

  • Cannot separate to new page according to WERKS

    Hi there!
    I have succesfully display my result according to each new WERKS.
    BUT if i add <i>NEW-PAGE PRINT ON</i> and <i>NEW-PAGE PRINT OFF</i> in order to send my report to spool. The <b>NEW-PAGE</b> no longer work out.
    May I know how to solve this?
    thanks for helping..
    NEW-PAGE PRINT ON NEW-SECTION
                      PARAMETERS PRIPAR
                      ARCHIVE PARAMETERS ARCPAR
                      NO DIALOG.
      LOOP AT ITAB.
        AT NEW WERKS.
          <b>NEW-PAGE.</b>
            NEW_WERKS = 'Y'.
        ENDAT.
        IF NEW_WERKS = 'Y'.
           PERFORM WRITE_RESULT.
        ENDIF.
      ENDLOOP.
    NEW-PAGE PRINT OFF.

    Hi,
    Check the below SAP help on NEW-PAGE PRINT ON...
    NEW-PAGE PRINT ON
    Extras:
    8. ... PRINT ON ...
       ... PARAMETERS params
       ... ARCHIVE PARAMETERS arparams
       ... NEW-SECTION
       ... NO DIALOG
    Addition 8
    ... PRINT ON ...
      ... PARAMETERS params (Structure with print parameters)
      ... ARCHIVE PARAMETERS arparams (Structure with archiving parameters)
      ... NEW-SECTION (Beginning of a new section)
      ... NO DIALOG (Skip print control screen)
    The syntax check performed in an ABAP Objects context is stricter than in other ABAP areas. See Print Parameters Missing in NEW-PAGE Statement.
    Effect
    Page break and redirection of output to the SAP spool.
    Starting with the new page, all WRITE statements (and also SKIP, ULINE, ...) are interpreted as print statements (see Printing in ABAP).
    Before the first page is printed, the user sees a screen for setting the print parameters unless the addition NO DIALOG has been specified. The print parameters are passed through the structure params. This structure must have the structure of PRI_PARAMS. The structure can be filled and modified using the function module GET_PRINT_PARAMETERS.
    If you specify arparams with ARCHIVE PARAMETERS, the structure of ARC_PARAMS must be used. You should only edit this parameter using the function module GET_PRINT_PARAMETERS.
    If you specify the addition NEW-SECTION, the page count is reset to 1. If data is being printed, the current spool request is closed. If the print parameters specified are compatible with those set earlier, the new spool request is attached to the spool request just closed.
    Note
    It is not possible to add records to the spool on a cross-event basis (AT LINE-SELECTION, AT PFx, AT USER-COMMAND). In such cases, NEW-PAGE PRINT OFF (see addition 10) is processed even if this has not been coded explicitly.
    Example
    Printing without archiving
    DATA PARAMS LIKE PRI_PARAMS.
    DATA: DAYS(1)  TYPE N VALUE 2,
          COUNT(3) TYPE N VALUE 1,
          VALID    TYPE C.
    CALL FUNCTION 'GET_PRINT_PARAMETERS'
      EXPORTING DESTINATION           = 'LT50'
                COPIES                = COUNT
                LIST_NAME             = 'TEST'
                LIST_TEXT             = 'Test NEW-PAGE PRINT ON'

                NO_DIALOG             = ' '
      IMPORTING OUT_PARAMETERS        = PARAMS
                VALID                 = VALID.
    IF VALID <> SPACE.
      NEW-PAGE PRINT ON PARAMETERS PARAMS NO DIALOG.
      WRITE / 'First line'.
    ENDIF.
    Example
    Printing with archiving
    DATA: PARAMS   LIKE PRI_PARAMS,
          ARPARAMS LIKE ARC_PARAMS,
          DAYS(1)  TYPE N VALUE 2,
          COUNT(3) TYPE N VALUE 1,
          VALID    TYPE C.
    CALL FUNCTION 'GET_PRINT_PARAMETERS'
      EXPORTING DESTINATION            = 'LT50'
                COPIES                 = COUNT
                LIST_NAME              = 'TEST'
                LIST_TEXT              = 'Test NEW-PAGE PRINT ON'
                IMMEDIATELY            = 'X'
                RELEASE                = 'X'
                NEW_LIST_ID            = 'X'
                EXPIRATION             = DAYS
                LINE_SIZE              = 79
                LINE_COUNT             = 23
                LAYOUT                 = 'X_PAPER'
                SAP_COVER_PAGE         = 'X'
                RECEIVER               = 'SAP*'
                DEPARTMENT             = 'System'
                SAP_OBJECT             = 'RS'
                AR_OBJECT              = 'TEST'
                ARCHIVE_ID             = 'XX'
                ARCHIVE_INFO           = 'III'
                ARCHIVE_TEXT           = 'Description'
                NO_DIALOG              = ' '
      IMPORTING OUT_PARAMETERS         = PARAMS
                OUT_ARCHIVE_PARAMETERS = ARPARAMS
                VALID                  = VALID.
    IF VALID <> SPACE.
      NEW-PAGE PRINT ON PARAMETERS PARAMS
                        ARCHIVE PARAMETERS ARPARAMS
               NO DIALOG.
      WRITE / 'First line'.
    ENDIF.
    Notes
    NEW-PAGE PRINT ON must not be called when nested. Nested print lists are not supported. Each NEWPAGE PRINT ON call must be completed with a NEW-PAGE PRINT OFF call.
    It is not possible to add records to the spool on a cross-event basis ( AT LINE-SELECTION, AT PFx, AT USER-COMMAND). In such cases, NEW-PAGE PRINT OFF (see addition 10) is processed if this has not been coded.
    If you submit only NEW-PAGE PRINT ON NO DIALOG without additional parameters, the corresponding values from the user defaults are used as spool parameters.
    Thanks,

  • Calling header in new page in Scripts

    Hi,
    I have a requirement where in case of printing the data from the main window continues to a new page. I need to print the header data in the new page. How can I do this?
    Thanks,
    Raj

    Hi
    You have to only create your NEXT page as copy of the FIRST page and insert the header data in a CONSTATNT or VAR WINDOW (not in the MAIN).
    In this way in this WINDOW is in a FIRST and NEXT page, the header data are automatically printed in all pages.
    Infact the CONSTANT (and VAR) WINDOWS can be called once and then the system'll printed it in all pages where it's used.

  • Blank page is getting displayed in SAPScript when using NEW-PAGE option.

    Hello Experts,
    We have created a customized SAPScript and in this separate Script is generated based on the currency(WAERS).
    So if we have 3 different currencies, then 3 pages will be created with there details, but we are using NEW-PAGE option in
    MAIN window to separate the pages and after 3rd page it is displaying 4th page also with footer details.
    So how can we avoid last blank page which is getting displayed?

    Hi isha.walia ,
       This issue can be solved by two ways. Please take the one which suits you better.
    Solution 1: If  you need to generate separate prints for different currencies.
    In the driver program, build an internal table for different currencies which needed to be printed. (Using delete adjacent duplicates, build the internal table with exact number of currencies to be printed). Remove the NEW-PAGE option and call the script/form inside the loop. Do the necessary conditions to manipulate the print.
    Advantages of above solution: Better control on spools if needed.
    Solution 2:  Get the count of the number of pages in a variable. Inside the print loop, increment a flag counter. Check it against the variable which contains the number of pages to be printed at the end of each page. Exit the loop when the number of pages to be printed is reached.
    Advantage of above solution: Simple to write the program.
    Thanks and Regards

  • Sum of LineCount Including Groups and Detail Data On Each Page Used To Generate New Page If TotalPageLineCount 28

    Post Author: tadj188#
    CA Forum: Formula
    Needed: Sum of LineCount Including Groups and Detail Data On Each Page Used To Generate New Page If TotalPageLineCount > 28
    Background:
    1) Report SQL is created with unions to have detail lines continue on a page, until it reaches page footer or report footer, rather than using  subreports.    A subreport report is now essentially a group1a, group1b, etc. (containing column headers and other data within the the report    with their respective detail lines).  I had multiple subreports and each subreport became one union.
    Created and tested, already:
    1) I have calculated @TotalLineForEachOfTheSameGroup, now I need to sum of the individual same group totals to get the total line count on a page.
    Issue:
    1) I need this to create break on a certain line before, it dribbles in to a pre-printed area.
    Other Ideas Appreciated:
    1) Groups/detail lines break inconveniently(dribble) into the pre-printed area, looking for alternatives for above situation.
    Thank you.

  • How to print the data in a seperate page / text file

    Hi Experts,
    I have created WD program which fetches data from R/3 using RFC. I am using following statement for printing the results:
    wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager().reportSuccess("The value is " + value);
    I am running the code for 20,000 rows. The results are printed on the same IE page. However it becomes difficult to see the results. I want to get the output printed in any of the following ways:
    Option 1
    1) There should be a link in WD program. When the user willl click on the link other IE page should get open and results should be printed in this page.
    Option 2
    2) The ouput should be written in a text file and user can store the file in local machine.
    Please help me.
    Regards,
    Gary

    Just create a function in your WD application that writes these lines (in loop; pass array of strings to the function) on a text file and saved  as a web resource object then have it available for download by the user. Simple as that.
    Search for WD tutorials that involves downloads and using the web resouce object in WD applications.
    This guide should provide you a good feel through the entire approach: /people/bertram.ganz/blog/2007/05/25/new-web-dynpro-java-tutorials--uploading-and-downloading-files-in-sap-netweaver-70

  • Printing date and time in all pages

    hi frds
    i wants to display or print system date and time in every pages can anyone give me coding .
    by
    Pari Vendhan.R

    Hi Pari,
    Please write the system date and time in TOP-OF-PAGE event so that it will be printed in each page of output.
    Example:
    report zdatetime
    line-count 60.
    START-OF-SELECTION.
    *-- write your code here
    TOP-OF-PAGE:
    write: 'Date: ', sy-datum.
    write: / ' Time: ', sy-uzeit.
    In top of page write other details along with date and time. Here in the above declaration after each 60 lines a  new page will be triggered and TOP-OF-PAGE will be called for each page before first write statement.
