  • Printing Date Book without "list" format - Palm TX

I have an old Palm TX and am trying to print a day just as it shows in my Palm software-with all the times down the left hand side of the screen.  But everytime I print, it just prints it in "list format".  Is there any way to print other than in "list format"?  I even tried to Export it to Excel or Word and all it would export to was a DBA document - what the heck is that?  PLEASE HELP!!  I have friends and family visiting for the next 10 days and I wanted to print out each day with everyone's schedule but NOT in a list format.

DBA stands for Datebook Archive. So you can create a backup of your data. As for your issue is when you pick the date in the Print option. This setting set up the items to print in List view only. If you need to print the calendar you can trick your PC to think its a certain day and use the Day option when printing. This should get the result you need.

  • How to process Customer format parameters with Payment Medium Workbench

    Hi
I have one bank transfer scenario PC00_M99_FPAYM requiring supplying a payment using the French format FR_ETEBAC_CRT_DOM but the execution date of the bank transfer should be replaced by the banku2019s value date. I planned to enter this required date using the Customer format parameters when running PMW.
The issue I tried to solve is described here below.
How to extract the Customer format parameters assigned to the payment medium format FR_ETEBAC_VRT_DOM when processed by the Payment medium Workbench in order to fill the Customer specific user-defined fields (ZREF01 to ZREF10 in structure FPAYHX)?
I noticed the event type 06 authorizes function modules similar like FI_PAYMEDIUM_SAMPLE_06 but the customer format parameters are only available at low level in function module FI_PAYM_MEDIUM_OPEN (example gc_format_params_c)
Can someone help on this matter?  That would be great.
    Thanks in advance,
    Henri.

Just sharing my findings and proposed solution.
    This worked
The expected date is the value date/payee's bank.
This date is created by the bank transfer program prior to be processed by Payment Medium Creation Tool (SAPFPAYM)
According to functional investigation it sounds like the bank transfer program does not allow working with the value date/payee's bank.
The investigation has been done in the Payment Medium Creation Tool. It allows adding the required value date/payee's bank into a customer format parameter.
    Required configuration and development:
    - Clone the current sap format FR_ETEBAC_VRT-DOM into a new Customized format ZFR_ETEBAC_VRT-DOM
    - Clone the corresponding DMEE object FR_ETEBAC_VRT-DOM into a new DMEE object tree type PAYM ZFR_ETEBAC_VRT-DOM
    - Create a new data structure: ZFR_Bank_Transfer with field CRVAL Value Date at Payee's Bank (comp type PRQ_CRVAL)
    - Assign customer structure ZFR_Bank_Transfer to payment format ZFR_ETEBAC_VRT-DOM and declare field CRVAL as required field
    - Build function module ZFI_PAYMEDIUM_06_FR in charge to extract value date/payee's bank from the customer structure and move it to the customer specific user-defined field ES_FPAYHX_CREF-ZREF01
    -  in new DMEE object tree type PAYM ZFR_ETEBAC_VRT-DOM Replace Source field FPAYH-ZALDT by FPAYHX-ZREF01 in the header record

    Hi,
I have migrated one report from OBIEE 10g to 11g. There is a date column with customized date format(i.e. Default format is 'dd-MMM-yyyy' and I have used 'MMM-yyyy').

  • Date not being displayed in the custom format

    Hi ,
I have a problem wherein i am unable to change the format of the date.
I need the date to be in the format 'January 10,2010.' however the date is being displayed as '1/10/10'. I have tried all options for the date formatting. I specified the custom format as 'MMMM D,YYYY' as mentioned in the SAP Library. I am trying to use the std custom options like YYYY-MM-DD, the date is not being dispalyed in the custom format provided by SAP either.
I have binded date from the context, used the Current Date field provided by SAP.  Nothing works.
Its not working on the new form. However the old forms have the same kind of formatting and are being displayed as desired.
Please suggest as to what the issue could be.
    Thanks,
    Soumya.

    Hi All,
Even I'm encountering the same issue. I'm trying to control the outputted date format programmatically. Please have a look.
    data: v_int_date like sy-datum,
            v_ext_date(10).
    v_int_date = '20110201'
    write v_int_date to v_ext_date MM/DD/YYYY.
Here I've tried to convert the date to external format using a fixed format(MM/DD/YYYY). But still it's getting outputted in the format DD/MM/YYYY only as that's the way its defined in the User Master!
Is there any solution for this? How can I 'override' defaults in the SAP User Master?
    Thanks,
    Mahesh

  • How to print date in dd/MM/yyyy format??

    Hi All,
I want to print a date in a dd/MM/yyyy format. I am doing like this
Date d = new Date(23-11-2006); but it is printing
    like Wed Dec 31 18:59:58 EST 1969 .
    Please help me .

    I am doing like this
Date d = new Date(23-11-2006); but it is
printing No you're not, because that won't compile. Show us exactly what you're doing and we might be able to help.
You seem to suggest you want to print a date in a certain format, but then the (pseudo-) code you present seems to suggest you want to be able to parse a date from a given format into a Date object.
Be clear and specific about exactly what you want, what you have tried, and why it didn't work and then people will be better placed to help! :-)

  • How to Concatenate Date in T-SQL using custom format?

    Hi:
I have a column in SQL Server 2008 R2, [ENTERED_DATE].  This is a datetime, formatted like so:
    2011-01-25 07:32:21.000
I need to display this as:  2011-01-01, where the DAY always = 01.
I've tried all manner of CAST, CONVERT, concatenate, etc.
I don't really want to CONVERT from datetime, just display in a custom format.
    Thanks!

  • Loading Excel data with custom format applied

    Hi,
I have an Excel File as source with the custom formatting applied to the data in it.
For Eg. value 64 has special formatting applied so as to display it as 0064.
BODS loads only the actual data as 64 and though I expect to load the formatted data(0064).
Is this an expected behavior of BODS?
    DS Version : 14.1.2
    Thanks.

No. If you define file format as flat file and define the field type as char then you can load all the formatted data like 0064 into DB. If you use excel then excel will remove leading zeros. This is excel functionality. or you can define the input file as CSV file and change the format of the field.
    Thanks,

  • Excel date to Numbers text format troubles

I've been sent an Excel .xls document which I'm opening in Numbers '09 (2.1).
The spreadsheet has a date column which I need to be in text format as dd/mm/yyyy. I expected the original Excel document to have the dates already in text format but Numbers says the fields are 'Custom' and shows the dates in US format: 11/04/2011, even although my Mac is set to UK format. No matter, I can set the cells to text format, however that results in the date being shown as 04/11/00002011.
Where did those extra zeros in the year come from!?
How can I reformat the dates to the dd/mm/yyyy format as text?
I've tried a couple of formula to create a new column
    =Year(A1)
for example and I think I could recreate the date  like that, but the cell must be text format.

  • How do you print data from a form?

From the interactive report, there's a built in function to print to variious formats (e.g., PDF, CSV, etc).
As long as the columns do not exceed the width of a page, it's okay.
But what I want to do is when a user clicks on 'edit' from the interactive report and displays the data entry screen, I want to be able to have a 'Print' button to print the data from a form.
Don't want to manually modify the URL to change a parameter to print.
Really appreciate any help I can get on this matter!!!

I want to be able to have a 'Print' button to print the data from a form.Create a Print button in the form page with an <tt>onclick</tt> attribute that calls the method<tt>print()</tt> method:
    onclick="window.print();"
Don't want to manually modify the URL to change a parameter to print. Sounds like you want to be able to control which page elements are printed and how they are formatted?
This is quite straightforward using a print media style sheet.
You'll need to identify CSS selectors (usually IDs and classes) from the page HTML for the components and regions that are not to be printed: a web inspector such as that found in Safari, or the Firefox+Firebug combo is useful for this. It's also a good idea to give all of your regions a unique static region ID to assist with this identification. Using this information, you can construct the style sheet to exclude all of the unwanted content using <tt>display: none</tt> rules.
In a simplified example, say you identify that there are 4 regions on the page, and you only want to print region 3. You would add the following style sheet to the page HTML Header:
    <style type="text/css" media="print">
    #region-1, #region-2, #region-4 {
      display: none;
</style>+{message:id=2475831}+ is a solution to a similar problem, and see this article for more enhancements that can be included in your print style sheet.
Really appreciate any help I can get on this matter!!!You'll get effective help more quickly if you include the following information upfront when posting a question. This enables others to understand, replicate and determine the most appropriate fix without wasting time asking all kinds of supplementary questions:
    - APEX version
    - DB version and edition
    - Web server architecture (EPG, OHS or APEX listener)
    - Browser(s)/version(s) used
    - Theme used
    - Templates used
    - Region/Report/Process type

Boxes, Lines, Shading: BOX, POSITION, SIZE
Use the BOX, POSITION, and SIZE commands for drawing boxes, lines, and shading to print particular windows within a form or passages of text within a window in a frame or with shading.
The SAP printer drivers that are based on page-oriented printers (the HP LaserJet driver HPL2, the Postscript driver POST, the Kyocera Prescribe driver PRES) employ these commands when printing. Line printers and page-oriented printers not supported in the standard ignore these commands. You can view the resulting printer output in the SAPscript print preview.
    Syntax:
/: BOX [XPOS] [YPOS] [WIDTH] [HEIGHT] [FRAME] [INTENSITY]
/: POSITION [XORIGIN] [YORIGIN] [WINDOW] [PAGE]
/: SIZE [WIDTH] [HEIGHT] [WINDOW] [PAGE]
    BOX Command
    Syntax
/: BOX [XPOS] [YPOS] [WIDTH] [HEIGHT] [FRAME] [INTENSITY]
Effect: draws a box of the specified size at the specified position.
Parameters: For each of XPOS, YPOS, WIDTH, HEIGHT, and FRAME, you must specify both a measurement and a unit of measurement. Specify the INTENSITY parameter as a percentage between 0 and 100.
    XPOS, YPOS
Upper left corner of the box, relative to the values of the POSITION command.
Default: Values specified in the POSITION command.
The following calculation is performed internally to determine the absolute output position of a box on the page:
    X(abs) = XORIGIN + XPOS
    Y(abs) = YORIGIN + YPOS
    WIDTH
Width of the box. Default: WIDTH value of the SIZE command.
    HEIGHT
Height of the box. Default: HEIGHT value of the SIZE command.
    FRAME
    Thickness of frame.
    Default: 0 (no frame).
    INTENSITY
Grayscale of box contents as %.
    Default: 100 (full black)
Measurements: You must specify decimal numbers as literal values (like ABAP numeric constants) by enclosing them in inverted commas. Use the period as the decimal point character. See also the examples listed below.
Units of measurement: The following units of measurement may be used:
    TW (twip)
    PT (point)
    IN (inch)
    MM (millimeter)
    CM (centimeter)
    LN (line)
    CH (character).
    The following conversion factors apply:
    1 TW = 1/20 PT
    1 PT = 1/72 IN
    1 IN = 2.54 CM
    1 CM = 10 MM
1 CH = height of a character relative to the CPI specification in the form header
1 LN = height of a line relative to the LPI specification in the form header
    /: BOX FRAME 10 TW
Draws a frame around the current window with a frame thickness of 10 TW (= 0.5 PT).
    /: BOX INTENSITY 10
Fills the window background with shading having a gray scale of 10 %.
/: BOX HEIGHT 0 TW FRAME 10 TW
Draws a horizontal line across the complete top edge of the window.
/: BOX WIDTH 0 TW FRAME 10 TW
Draws a vertical line along the complete height of the left hand edge of the window.
/: BOX WIDTH '17.5' CM HEIGHT 1 CM FRAME 10 TW INTENSITY 15
/: BOX WIDTH '17.5' CM HEIGHT '13.5' CM FRAME 10 TW
/: BOX XPOS '10.0' CM WIDTH 0 TW HEIGHT '13.5' CM FRAME 10 TW
/: BOX XPOS '13.5' CM WIDTH 0 TW HEIGHT '13.5' CM FRAME 10 TW
Draws two rectangles and two lines to construct a table of three columns with a highlighted heading section.
    POSITION Command
    Syntax
/: POSITION [XORIGIN] [YORIGIN] [WINDOW] [PAGE]
Effect: Sets the origin for the coordinate system used by the XPOS and YPOS parameters of the BOX command. When a window is first started, the POSITION value is set to refer to the upper left corner of the window (default setting).
Parameters: If a parameter value does not have a leading sign, then its value is interpreted as an absolute value, in other words, as a value that specifies an offset from the upper left corner of the output page. If a parameter value is specified with a leading sign, then the new value of the parameter is calculated relative to the old value. If one of the parameter specifications is missing, then no change is made to this parameter.
    XORIGIN, YORIGIN
    Origin of the coordinate system.
    WINDOW
Sets the values for the left and upper edges to match those of the current window (default setting).
    PAGE
Sets the values for the left and upper edges to match those of the current output page (XORIGIN = 0 cm, YORIGIN = 0 cm).
    /: POSITION WINDOW
Sets the origin for the coordinate system to the upper left corner of the window.
/: POSITION XORIGIN 2 CM YORIGIN '2.5 CM'
Sets the origin for the coordinate system to a point 2 cm from the left edge and 2.5 cm from the upper edge of the output page.
/: POSITION XORIGIN '-1.5' CM YORIGIN -1 CM
Shifts the origin for the coordinates 1.5 cm to the left and 1 cm up.
    SIZE Command
    Syntax
/: SIZE [WIDTH] [HEIGHT] [WINDOW] [PAGE]
Effect: Sets the values of the WIDTH and HEIGHT parameters used in the BOX command. When a window is first started, the SIZE value is set to the same values as the window itself (default setting).
