Printing Document and Markups

Using Mac OS X 10.4.11, Acrobat 8. I want to print one page of a document including the markups. In the Print window I select "Current Page" or "Current View" and "Document and Markups" from the "Comments and Forms" popup menu.... only the markups appear in the printed page. For example, If I underlined certain text, only the underline appears in the printed page; the text from the document is not printed.

I realized that the problem mentioned occurs only if the document is OCRed within Acrobat 8. I tried to duplicate the problem with a pdf file received already OCRed and the markups printed well along with the whole document.

Print Document without Markup

When you print a PDF to a PDF from within Acrobat, there is the option to print Document and Markups or Document under the Comment and Forms dropdown.
I need to be able to flag this option in distiller so that when I print through distiller in other applications, the PDF created is created under the Document option and not Document and Markups option.
There is apparently some meta data in the pdf file that causes problems for me when it prints with Markups, even though there is no Markup in the pdf.
I cannot find this flag in distiller or in the print options when creating a new job.option.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Currently we need to post process all our PDFs and re-print through acrobat choosing the Document as opposed to Document and Markups option.

When printing document and comments output is only the comments

When I select Print document and comments (Ctrl+T)in Acrobat 6 and have my "Print with:" set as Documents and comments the output is only the comments with their location in the document. The original document however is not printed. How can I prevent this?

So, does the bursting process print completely independent of the style/driver setups in EBS? If that's the case, then I will have to check with my sysadmins on the printer setups on the Linux server like you mentioned.

As far as I know you can't delete the primary email address for an iCloud account. It's assigned when the account is created. But your neighbor wouldn't have been able to get into your iCloud account without your Apple ID and password. Are you sure the account wasn't still on your phone when you gave it to him?
You could migrate a copy of your data to a new iCloud account but I would still be concerned that someone else was using my old account, which presumably still has your data in it.
I'm fairly certain that you're going to have to have iCloud support help you sort this one out as they may have the ability to make changes to an existing account that users can't. Make an appointment with the genius bar at a nearby Apple store and have them take a look at it. If necessary, they should be able to contact iCloud support for you.

Printing Documents w/ Markups & Stamps

Is there a way to set my documents so that when another person views them they will print the way I want regardless of the print setting the receiving party has?
Example, I may have numerous markups and/or stamps on a contract. My client, doesn't know how to properly use the print with Markups or Stamps setting in the printer properties. They open the document and print it without paying close attention to the screen version and what they see on paper doesn't show any of my work.
Another issue related to this is that I will create a pdf and then send it through a service that I have which allows me to fax online, but has not printer property settings. The party on the other end does not see any of my Markups or stamps because the software sending the fax doesn't have a setting for how it is sent.
Additionally, let's say that I cover over something like an old price or dated policy by creating a white box over it with no visible lines. How do I lock down the edits so that someone on the receiving end is not able to click on my white box and delete it or even know it is there for that matter?
The only way I have found so far is to print out and scan the document back into my hard drive and then send it to them. This is a lot of extra seemingly unnecessary work. Surely there is a way to lock in my edits.

"Create Comment Summary" not showing in Pro 10.1.7?? How can I print document and comments with connector lines on single page?

Adobe's instructions for Acrobat X Pro say that to print the document with connector lines on the same page, I should go from the menu to "Print With Comments Summary." I'm using version 10.1.7 and that option doesn't show up. My menu bar looks like this:

I don't see any of the comment printing options Adobe refers to in their instructions. Am I looking in the wrong place for the option to print comments on the same page as the document? Or is there some reason this is not available?

You're trying to write to the PFI lines, which are part of port 1. Only the 8 lines on port 0 "Dev1/port0" support clocked/correlated DIO, port 1 only supports static/SW timed DIO (which is what you are using) and counter timer opperations. To do buffered output, check out the Cont Write Dig Port-Ext Clk shipping example at:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\National Instruments\NI-DAQ\Examples\DAQmx ANSI C\Digital\Generate Values\Cont Write Dig Port-Ext Clk
when you use this, you'll need to specify an external clock - M-Series DIO does not have its own timing engine so it has to get its clock signal from somewhere else. Most just use an onboard counter to generate a clocking signal, so the Dig-Pulse Train Cont example under counters can be combined with this.
Most of this is covered in the M-Series user manual, though I realize its not exactly lite reading

Archiving print document and the FICA document is not closed yet

Hi SAP,
I Am testing the archiving object ISU_PRDOCL and ISU_PRDOCH and I could archive a print document for which the FICA document is not sold (still Open Item). is it a bug or the standard is made like this or do we have to implement an OSS note for this isue.

Yes, print document will be archived even though corresponding FICA document is still open or outstanding.
To-over come this problem you can enhance your Print document header and line item archive program to exclude archiving of print document header and line item with corresponding open FICA document.
SAP has provided enhancement for Print document Archive program :
Print document headers (ETOAR001)
Print document line items (ETOAR002)

there is normally a team who is assigned with the duty to perform requirement gathering......additionally there may be a team who consolidates all these reqs and builds the blueprint documents out of it....same may be the case in your project....get these details from the person handling your project.....usage of these documents is for the entire projecvt team

Number of integration scnarios are not fixed/ limited and nobody in SDN can predict it for your project....this Q will be best answered by your manager....

I have been using my printer for APPS and now it wont print documents and ordinary printing

Could you tell me why my photosmart all in one printer will not print normal documents and files from my pc or other device I have just been usong the apps on it to try out but now will not print out anything else like normal things from my computer or ipod or iphone.

How to restrict users from printing documents and exporting to local file

I have two questions.
1. How can I restrict users from printing a document? i.e. billdoc? I would like to know if I could block it though authorization. If yes, what auth obj to use?
2. How to restrict certain users from exporting to local file? the System> List>Save-->Local File. I have tried restricting it using auth object S_GUI but it seems it is only applicable to older versions of SAP. im on ecc6.

Check this:
Create your own gui status and attach it to the list in the event START-OF-SELECTION.
In the menu painter extra -> adjust template.
Make it a list status and you will see all the standard list options appear including list->download
Deactivate the ones you don't want.
If you just want to prevent users from downloading the list you can achieve this with authorization object S_GUI, activity 61. Menu option will still be there though.
Please note that if you remove authorisation for S_GUI activity 61 then all downloads will not be possible.
If you just want to disable downloads only for a particular report, you can try this test program:

Printing Document and Comments of a BPS layout

Do you know how i can take print out of all the comments that i have in a BPS layout. Where does all these comments and documents are stored and how can i retrieve them. If it is same a Documents tab under BW, how can i get those documents for a particular layout, as i do not see the options of a Layout except to go with Queries and Info Cube.
What is the alternative solution to achieve this. All my Users want to see the comments of other users and then plan on it..

I have a requirement to print the comments entered in the planning layout to be printed in a Bex Web report.
I implemented your 'How To' paper but I still have to produce a web report to show all the comments from the planning layout.
I found on the forum about reading the DMS through a FM and writing into a table and uploading into a cube as a charcteristic.
Are there any better alternatives?

Cs5 InDesign crashing when exporting print pdf and markup file?

We just did our upgrade yesterday from cs4 to cs5. Two things that I have discovered so far that I haven’t been able to figure out.
I need to create a pdf from a file...I go to export — print pdf — this QUITS (if I do the interactive pdf it works okay but I need a print ready one. I had to print a postscript file — then distill it in acrobat — so far, knock on wood that works but is time consuming.
I tried to export a — InDesign MarkUp file (imdl), the new interchange to go from 5 to 4 — I was thinking okay...I will just take the cs5 file back to cs4 and make the pdf there but when making the imdl file to open in cs4 I also crash.
any help would be appreciated!

I had a major problem with exporting CS5 Indesign interactive PDF doc (270pgs) it would crash reasonbly consistently, other times behave OK? After many hours reading forums, and Adobe help desk I found my own work-around which I want to share (as I couldn't believe it was so simple and worked!)
OK..so the doc has navigation buttons and hyperlinks all the way through....I Exported half the doc. Then the other half. Then I combined in Acrobat.
There it is....simple and boy am I happy now!!

I cannot implement work around ! because my XP program does not offer a spot to give my printers a Share Name. So what do I do next?
