Printing duplicate copies of invoices in another location

hello,
my client has a requirement to print set up a daily job to print invoices copies ( this can be done using processing mode 2 in transaction VF31) ; but these copies have to be printed on a different printer than the first invoices.
In other words
1- first processing in printer A
2- second processing in printer B
How is it possible to do this without creating 2 differents outputs types ?

Hi,
By using VF31 Transaction you cant change the Printer for the OUTPUT
Goto the tranaction code SE38 and with the Program RSNAST00 execute all the Billing document which require the second Print and enter the OUTPUT TYPE and processing medium
now execute the program in Background which will prompt you to enter the Printer device name, maintain it and execute.
Then all the prints will sent to the Another printer which is B as per you .

Hi,
We are not able to print multiple copies of Invoice, PO etc. from SAP.
e.g. When we print invoice using vf02->issue output, we are setting number of copies to be printed as 5, still only one copy gets printed. Hence, we need to execute the vf02 five times to get five copies of the invoice. Same is the case for PO printing.

No, we are not using front end printing (F/G). When we click on "issue output to" (vf02->Billing Document)), we select the print button and the standard printer dialog for selecting Printer and other settings appears. In this dialog there is option call "Number of Copies". We set it to 5 and after clicking on "OK", only single print gets printed.
Kindly suggest what to do?

Hot to Print 3 copies of Invoice in separate trays from HP Laserjet Printer

My Customer needs to print three copies of the Invoice in different color paper. The paper is loaded in the three trays in the printer and we need to tell the printer from Business One to send the three copies, one for each tray.
The printer is HP Laserjet P4015 tn.

it is not possible to send print to three different tray , current limitations in printer setup can only select which printer the data must be sent we cannot direct 3 pages to three different tray
but you can have solution like
1) arrange the invoice paper such that each color is kept next (eg blue-pink-green again blue-pink-green and blue-pink-green...)
2)check with printer vendor for any such setting in printer so that you can send each page to different tray

Based on my tests, users can save the document with only Read permission, which is by design. If you don’t want users to print files, please do not give the print permissions on printers.

Fristly you creat a Crystal Report for A/R Invoice (4 copies ie. 4 RPT file) then follow the following step.
Administration -->Steup -->General --> Report and Layout Management
--> Report and Layout Management form are open
--> Click the Sales A/R option
--> A/R Invoice option
--> AR Invoice (Items)
--> Then Import all the 4 Copies (4 RPT files)
--> Then Click the Printing Seq
--> Click the New Button then Sequence Details form are open.
--> Then select A/R Invoice on Object cell
--> Select all the layout
       1 First COPY ORIGINAL FOR BUYER
       2 Second COPY DUPLICATE FOR TRANSPOTER
       3 Thirth COPY TRIPLICATE FOR ASSESSE
       4 Fourth COPY EXTRA FOR ACCOUNT
--> Save it.
And the check the Print preview
File -->Print Sequence --> Select the Print option.

no - you simply have to select the option to print mucliples of a photo on a page
select the photo and go to the file menu ==> print - select the printer, paper size and print size and click customize - in the tool bar click on the settings icon (the gear looking thingy) and select "multiple of the same photo per page" and the preview will reflect this option showing a full page of the selected size photos

Hi, clintonfrombirmingham: I wanted to thank you for jumping in and attempting to help me. I went back to the apple store yesterday and the space issue was caused by a setting from five years ago that was saving all mail in the hard drive in the apple mail application. Once all of that mail was deleted and the setting changed I was able to reinstall the printer driver and other things that would not function properly. Now my only issue is that the printer will not connect wirelesslessly. But I'm going to work on that at another time.

Duplicate copies printing from Kyocera Mita Network printer

I'm trying to print to a Kyocera Mita FS-9500DN printer across a network. I successfully installed the drivers and was able to connect to it.
The good news is that it prints. The bad news is that it prints THREE copies of everything sent to it. If I specify two copies, it will only print two. But I can't specify only one, and it won't print one by default.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Several months ago there was some Xerox users with a similar problem. However, regardless of the number of copies they entered, they always got multiples. I cannot remember if it was resolved.
Anyway, this sounds like a driver issue. You could test this theory by opening the Terminal application and submitting a text file via lp. For example, create a simple text file using TextEdit. Then save it with a filename of test in your documents folder. Then open Terminal (located in Applications > Utilities). Change the directory to your Documents folder (cd Documents). Then type lp test (or test.rtf if it was saved with the extension) and press the Enter key. If the Mita is the default printer the machine should start up and you should only get one copy. If this does happen, then you know it's a driver issue so you can contact your Mita support and see if they have a fix.

Ok, i´m not sure how it is done in your driver program, tho i guess your smartform will be called twice if you tell him to make 2 copies.
You should find something like:
DO nast-anzal times.
"some stuff there
"call of smartform
ENDDO.
if you have the requrement to ALWAYS print 2 copies and completeley ignore what user puts in the accodring field, then just change that to:
DO 2 times.
ENDDO.
If it is done in your smartforms, then you should find a loop there on header level which refers to variable OUTPUT_OPTIONS-TDCOPIES.

Output Device prints 3 copies of each print out

Hi Frnds,
We are facing a problem with the output device.
When we try to print anything from SAP to an out put device, it gives us 3 copies of same printout.
We tried with smartforms, sap scripts and even a normal print request from the anywhere in SAP. For the particular output device it gives 3 printouts.
That output device is configured to a particular printer here in the user location.
We have also tried couple of other things,
Made that particulrt printer as the default one in our operating system (Windows) and printed using LOCL output device. It printed only one copy.
Made other printer as the default in Windows and then print using LOCL output device, now again it printed only one copy, to another printer.
Since it prints 3 copies of the same thing from anywhere in SAP with this op device, We think that there is no problem in Print programs or in Output condition configurations.
The spool that gets generated out of this request says "No. of copies" 1.
Not really sure where its going wrong. We think the problem is somewhere in Basis settings.
If any one has faced this kind of issue can u please let me know how we can rectify this?

Are you using Access Method G for the output?
If so you can check if the following setting was set:
set use_copies = N (where N = number of copies) in
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SAP\SAPlpd\SAPLPD
Check the SAP note: 1149136 also.

Regenerate PDF copies of invoices

Hi Experts,
I have a question in billing related output processing.
Scenario/Requirement: My company (ABC) is acquired by some other company (XYZ). Now company XYZ is requesting us to give thes soft copies of invoices in SAP in a PDF format that they will store in some data ware house.
I imagine that it is some form of a customer program that we need to write to regenerate the old invoices in PDF format and also give us an option to download the file to a local folder.
Has anyone faced such kind of a situation earlier? if you did can you let me know some details like what functional module(s) you used to pull this etc.,

Vishnuu2019s suggestion would work. Here is an alternative that works for sapscript output. It might work for smartforms, but I have never tried it. It involves a new output type, an LSMW to open and save each invoice, and an LSMW for a SAP program to convert spool requests into PDF files.
Configure a new output type for the invoices. Assign the same layout set as your u201Cnormalu201D invoice output type. Assign a key combination that is simple to set up a condition record for all of your invoices (like u201CSales Orgu201D). Add the new output type to your billing output procedure. Transport to your target system.
In the target system,
1.     Create the condition record for the new output type. Assign medium 1 (print), date/time 4 (immediate), and assign a u201Cdummyu201D output device that will not really print anything.
2.     Create an LSMW to open and save a billing document via t-code VF02. With the new output condition record in place, each execution of VF02 will generate a spool request for the output (that will not print since you assigned a dummy printer). Run the LSMW for all of the invoices that you need to process.
3.     Create another LSMW to execute program RSTXPDFT4 for each spool request sitting out there waiting on the dummy printer. You can get a list of the spool requests from table TSP01. Specify the spool request number and network path/file name for the selection screen in your input file.

Printing four copies of output

       my client needs 3 copies of invoice printout.but the problam is
1   in the first printout I want to display original for buyer
2   in the second printout I want to display duplicate for buyer
3   in the third printout I want to display extra copy

If I understood correctly, you have:
- One invoice SmartForm with 1 or more pages.
- When sending to print, on the printout screen, you select "3 copies" for the same layout.
- What you need is 3 diferent texts on each copy (from the same layout) depending of the current number of copy printed.
If that's the issue; what you need to do to get the text printed in a proper way, is:
Draw a new window on the page and give it a name (for example "WINDOW_TEXTINCOPIES") and it's very important that you make sure you select as window type "T - Copy Window" (you can see it on the 1st tab of the window's general properties) -if this option is not selected, the variable "sfsy-copycount" won't increment ever! -Finally, add 3 variable texts on the same window with the text you want to display and add a condition for each one on the "Conditioning tab":
Original for buyer : sfsy-copycount EQ 1
Duplicate for buyer : sfsy-copycount EQ 2
Extra copy : sfsy-copycount EQ 3
Then you got it, it should be working now, I've proved it myself, if you have any question don't hesitate on asking.

Duplicate copies of read email in Inbox

Saw some similar issues in the discussion archives, but nothing quite like this, so I'm looking for help.
Whenever I start Mail -- or when clicking from another Mail folder to my Inbox -- four identical duplicate copies of an email appear. (Don't think it's important, but the message is a cannot-deliver-message email from a postmaster account).
I can delete these emails (and they stay in the Mail trash), but the next time I click on my Inbox, they're back. They're not coming from my POP server -- I don't leave messages there, and this happens even if Mail is offline.
I don't see how any of my Mail rules could be causing this.
Any other suggestions? Please??!?

Make sure first that the messages have indeed been removed from the server. Choose Get Info (⌘I) from the Action menu (gear icon) located below the mailboxes list in the main Mail window. Does Mail display there the messages that keep reappearing?
If the messages have been removed from the server, you may be able to get rid of them in Mail doing Edit > Cut (⌘X).

Why does Frame 10 print 3 copies of the same chapter when I print a book to pdf?

I am printing a multi-chapter book. The table of contents generates perfectly but when I go to print the pdf of the book, Frame prints 3 duplicate copies of each chapter and TOC. Why is it doing this and how can I turn off this 'feature'? It is a pain to have to keep deleting the chapters from the pdf in Acrobat.

And that could have been set in the application printer dialogs, or in the operating system printer setup/preferences (or both, but then you'd get 9).
It can also be set locally on some printers, but I suspect that's not what's happening here.
Is everything in the book tripled-printed, or just some?
Is it printed cover-toc-body 3 times, or cover-cover-cover, tocx3, bodyx3?
Are other PDFs printing correctly to the same printer (using the same driver)?
