Printing envelopes in Microsoft Word

I have a Photosmart 309Ca and am using Windows Vista Home Premium and Microsoft Word 2007. I can print Word documents with no trouble but when I try to print envelopes, I get an error message that the printer is out of paper which it isn't. I can print to another printer on the home network, but not to this printer. Any suggestions? Thanks, Taylor

I deleted the printer in Mac system preferences, reset, then reloaded the printer driver using officejet rather than airprint. Works OK. Thanks.

What are needed to have labview print report to microsoft word

i'm building a stand alone application that puts the collected data into Microsoft Word, and it then sends the word report to the printer when click Print from my LabVIEW. But when click Print it runs and generates error message that says "Error 7 occured at Open VI Reference in Dispose Report.vi ->Word Report.vi ->Main.vi". I think i'm missing something during building application stage but i'm not sure what it is. How can i approach this error?

In the cd with the report generation toolkit you can find the procedure for building an executable.
You have to add the following vi's dinamically:
- vi.lib\addons\_office\_exclsub.llb\_excel dynamic vis.vi
- vi.lib\addons\_office\_wordsub.llb\_word dynamic vis.vi

Printer reduces size of text taken from internet; printer expands margins Microsoft Word 2007

1) HP Officejet J6480 All-in-one
2) Windows 7 64-bit
No error message, no changes to system.
Recently, and I'm not sure why, my printer began shrinking the text which it prints from the internet. It does not have this problem printing a pdf file or from Microsoft Word or the like. I'm not sure if this only occurs when i print selected text as opposed to printing what the screen sees. The shrunk text appears to be approximately 5.25 by 7 inches. If I print double sided, the problem still persists. Please let me know what I can do; I have gone through the printer options and verified that I had selected letter sized paper to print on.
In addition, one smaller issue; I frequently print from Microsoft Word in which I always set my paper margins to 1" all around the paper. On the top margin only, the printer expands it to 1.25 inches and compresses the entire text. (I have held up printed papers to my computer screen to be sure). All of the other margins are correctly formatted. Thank you for your assistance. I use Microsoft Word 2007

Cannot Print anything in Microsoft word 2007 program.

I have an HP Desktop 1000 j110a printer. My computer is lap top windows 7. As of today I'm unable to print
anything from my microsoft word 2007. I can ,however, print from ALL other programs on my computer with
great success. This has never happened before, and I've been printing successfully in my microsoft word for
almost a year. There has been no changes made to our system before this issue occurred. I feel this is something
simple to correct, but I cannot find the problem. Please help me. Thank you for your time in this matter.

The issue appears to be specifically from Microsoft Word, as you are able to print from all other programs without issue. The first step to take would be to try and repair Microsoft Word. I have included the steps on how to do this.
1. Click Start
2. Click Control Panel
3. Click on Programs and Features
4. Right click on Microsoft word
5. Click on Repair
Try printing from Microsoft Word. If you are still having problems after this. The next step would be to delete the Normal.Dot template for Word. I have included the document 'TECH TIP: Fixing your Normal.dot'.
Please let me know if you are able to print from Word after this.

What would cause the printer to only print text in microsoft word but no images

i have a hp deskjet D1320 printer, windows xp operating system, and i have always printed greeting cards from microsoft word by inserting an image and then printing it with the printer set to duplex(2sided)printing option, so after you print the image you flip the card around and then print the text on the inside of the card. now the printer does not print any images when i insert the image and then click print it just runs 1 piece of paper through the printer and stops but it will still print text just fine, does anyone know what would cause this type of an issue?

I would suggest doing a hard reset with the printer.
Hard Reset:
Take out the toner/cartridges
Unplug the power cord from the printer and wall
Wait 30 sec
Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall (Make sure the printer is plugged into the wall and not a surge protector)
Insert the toner/cartridges back into the printer
Let me know the outcome

All of a sudden my printer has stopped printing anything in microsoft word. i

My HP Photosmart Plus printer quit working with microsoft word. I have tried all the troubleshooting suggestions and nothing works. I don't know why it stopped working. Any suggestions?

Please read this post then provide some details. What printer model - there are several Photosmart Plus models? What operating system? What version of Word?
When you try to print from Word are there any error messages? Does the printer go through the motions but print blank pages?
The following may help in troubleshooting print quality issues. If printing a test page indicates black is not printing properly and the troubleshooting steps fail then the following page may help.

Turn Off Print Duplex in Microsoft Word

The print dialog box in Word for Mac 2011 for the HP Officejet 4630 does not appear to offer a single side or duplex option. What am I missing? I want to turn off duplex printing.

On the Mac print dialogbox, in the middle, there is a tab, which is changable, click on it and select "Layout", you will see a "Two-Sided" option, change it to No.

Print problem in Microsoft word for Mac

So I try to print my file, but every time I print my file, there will be one additional page that contains the print job information (file name, time printed etc). They don't ask me whether I want to print this or not but it's just directly printed on the next page of my print job.
This is really annoying since it waste another paper and ink of course, can I disable this annoying feature?
Since I got the wrong packet of ms.word with me (I got it in French when I need English), if you can help me to solve this problem, would you mind to tell me step-by-step menu really clearly ?
So that after that I can just translate it via google translator.
(e.g : File-open etc.)

Printing issue with microsoft word and excel

I open Microsoft 2004 Word and Excel separately and clicked on File / Open....not responding and so force quite. I went to Finder and opened the file directly and It did. But when I clicked Print, the print page doesn't show up. I closed the file. I opened other softwares and tried the Print and Save as PDF and it worked. I booted several times and reinstaled the Microsoft 2004 from original disk and did updates up to 11.6.3 versions. I rebooted again and still the same problem. Please help !

Photoshop images not printing sharply in Microsoft Word doc

My images - (so far I tried a Photoshop eps and a press high res pdf from InDesign) - which are placed into a MS Word document, are printing very soft, with blurred/jagged edges. Color is off a bit as well.
Am I saving the Photoshop file incorrectly? Is there something I should be checking or allowing or enabling as I save ?
Any other thoughts ?
All images,of course, print well in Adobe products and Apple's Pages software. My client, however, uses Office and it has to work in MS Word, and I have to make it work. I know it can be done...but after hours of fiddling, testing and searching I don't have a solution.

Default color when printing envelopes on Photosmart 309g

When I print envelopes using Microsoft Word, the color of the letters is green. I have tried changing the color selection from automatic to black in the Word program but the color still comes out green. Printing of the Word document does default to black when automatic is selected for the color.

I'm sorry to hear you've been having issues printing envelopes with your Photosmart 7520, but I would be happy to have a look into this and make some suggestions.
The first thing I will suggest is that you have a look through this Printing an envelope page from Microsoft that explains how to properly set up the program to print the envelope, including changing print settings.
This How to print to envelopes in Microsoft Word 2013 video below also shows a few things to check as well.

Microsoft Word- printing a books?

I can't seem to figure out to get my Microsoft word to print a book. On a Windows PC, there is the option to print a document in booklet form, where the pages are doubled and you can print entire books this way.
i see a lot of questions about Aperture in relation to book printing, but I don't want to pay for printing my books nor do I want to have to save it in PDF. What a giant pain. Am I just too daft to find the option for printing bookfolds in Microsoft Word or was Apple being a greedy monopolizing cretin by removing that option and forcing us to buy Aperture?
P.S. If anyone has any freeware that doesn't require PDF conversion and is simple, please do tell. Thanks.

Office comes with extensive help. I suggest you take the time to look in the help files for the answer. Word is quite capable of printing in book form but your document layout needs to be properly configured.

Hp laserjet 3800n problem printing envelopes

My laserjet which I've had for years always has a hard time printing envelopes, but usually if I try several times they will print, but today it isn't working. What it does is hum for about 30-60 seconds without feeding envelopes, then stops and says fuser error (50.2?). I did update the firmware about 1 year ago, hoping it would help this problem. I am printing envelopes from Microsoft works on a XP machine. Thanks

Are you using the envelope template built into Microsoft Word to print the #10 envelopes? If so, then I would make sure all settings are set correctly to print the envelopes.
Check to make sure the Feed option is set to the correct feed path for the Photosmart 7525. It is possible that the Word software is expecting the envelope to come through the unit in a different location and is 'printing' your information in empty space.
Also, make sure the print driver settings are correct. When selecting to print make sure to set the Printer Properties to the correct paper type. Select the Paper/Quality tab to make sure that the option is set for #10 envelopes in the driver. The printer functions best when the software and driver have matching settings.
