Printing/Exporting with "Green Bar" styling

Hello,
I am currently using OBIEE 11.1.1.6 and have multiple reports that utilize the alternating row "green bar" styling. The issue I have is that when a user prints to PDF or exports to Powerpoint, the green bar styling does not come with. All the rows are plain white. If they export to Excel it is even worse as the rows that should have the green fill are white and lose all the borders on the cells. I have tried with both the "All Columns" and "Innermost Column" and neither make a difference.
Does anyone have any suggestions for fixing this or a workaround to get the green bar styling to print/export properly?

  • Enable alternating row "green bar" styling not working

    Hi ,
I have one field , on which I am selecting 'Enable alternating row "green bar" styling'. But it is not reflecting in the result.
Any idea , how to solve it.
    Thanks.

    Hi Kart,
I am just taking one field and trying to give "green bar" styling on it.
It is not a measure column.
One more thing, I have one other field. The problem with this field ,while applying "green bar" on this is , it is working fine in QA but not in DEV environment.

  • Keep green bar styling in Excel

    Hi Gurus,
In my pivot table report, I am using the "green bar" styling.
Unfortunately when I download the report to excel, the "green bar" is not appearing in excel file.
Is there a way to keep the "green bar" in the downloaded excel file?

  • Aspect ratio: 4:3 material being exported with black bars (on the sides!)

    Hi all
I'm fairly new to using FinalCut Express: previously I've used other non-linear video editors on Windows.
I'm having a bit of a weird problem: I've got a sequence which was shot entirely in 4:3 (PAL). However, when I try to export that to a QuickTime movie it appears squashed from either side — black bars appear at the sides of the frame and everyone looks very tall and thin. The frame itself is still 4:3 but everything is being squashed to fit in the bars.
I've fiddled with as many settings as are immediately obvious to me to see if I can rectify this, but so far no banana: the sequence is about 90 minutes long and takes about 30 minutes to render each time when exporting.
Has anyone got any ideas what to do about this? I've been trying to do some research into how FCP/FCE handle different aspect ratios, and it seems to be a very complicated topic. In fact, in the same project I've got a sequence which contains almost entirely 16:9 anamorphic material. Ideally I'd like this to be output in a 16:9 frame with the few 4:3 clips appearing with bars on the side. However, it's only being output as 4:3 where the 4:3 clips appear full-frame and the 16:9 clips have bars at top and bottom...
    Hope someone can help!
    Mac Pro: 3GHz, 6GB RAM, X1900XT, BT, AirPort   Mac OS X (10.4.8)

    Tom, thanks for the reply.
Everything looks absolutely fine when played back in FCE; it's only when exporting to QuickTime that my problems start. The point is that this 4:3 sequence isn't being output into a 16:9 frame as a pillarbox: what's actually happening is that it's being put into a 4:3 frame with bars, with the result that the content is in fact being squeezed (it looks wrong).
How can you modify the aspect-ratio settings for a given sequence? I've looked through all the obvious sequence properties settings but have never found anything.
I'll just reiterate — it plays back fine within the viewer; only when output does it all go awry.

  • HP psc 1210 all in one printer - Printing photos with Green Hue

    Hey folks,
it used to work fine, now for no apparent reason, it is printing out photos with a strong green hue. They all come out looking very green and yellow.
I have done several things - i have downloaded and updated all printer software and drivers, i have ran all printer calibrations and cleaning programs, i have accessed Macbook utilities folder and ran all colorsync utility's such as repair and adjust hue. What is going on here? I am completely stumped with this one.
    Thanks,

  • FCP 7 exports with green spots in places where I have transitions

These file look great in the canvas. But when I export them, I have these huge green spots where the transitions take place. The time line has the video clip, audio clip, and text that enters with a cross dissolve and exits the same way. The spots occur as the text enters and exits. But they are huge!, green spots!
I export as QT movie, settings: current.
Files were shot with a Canon 7D.
    Dimensions: 1280X720
    Codecs: H.264, Linear PCM
    Color profile: (1-1-6)
    Duration: 00:53
    Audio Channels: 2
    Total bit rate 46,032

I export as QT movie, settings: current. (Codecs: H.264, Linear PCM)
I take it your original source material is h.264?
H.264 is not an edit friendly codec.
If so, you should convert that to an FCP friendly format...check easy setups for what best matches your media's specs and post back.

  • FCPX movies exporting with green vertical lines on them... please help!

My videos appear fine in the viewer, but when I export them, there is vertical lines over the entire video (see screenshot) (screenshot won't insert into the message, i'll keep trying!). This has happened with 2 different projects, from 2 different events. The resolution of the project is 720p.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
    Merry Christmas!

Never use the Finder for movie spec information. It's not always accurate. Use the movie inspector of the QuickTime player.
Set the viewer to 100% and see if you see the lines after you've rendered the video.
Your video is in a non-standard format and looks as if it's in the MPEG-4 framework. It needs to be QuickTime and standard definition video specifications. By putting this video in a 720p project it is being hugely scaled to match the frame size. This is a really bad idea.
I don't know if optimization will work on this video, but try transcoding it and seeing of it will optimize. Export a portion of the project.
What version of the software are you using? It doesn't sound like the current version.

  • The screen of my ipod touch is not working. it turned white with green bars. what shall i do? :(

I didn't drop it. Im using it for only 9 days.... why did it happened?

For a blank iPod or "white screen of death"
iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
All the troubleshooting steps in the above are likely to lead you to restoring the iPod. Follow the instructions in this procedure to the letter. Here they are, with emphasis on some easily overlooked requirements:
Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off, release only the Sleep/Wake button.
Continue pressing and holding the Home button while you reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.Note: If you see the "low battery" screen, let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some charge, and then start with step 2 again.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears (iTunes icon and USB connector) release the Home button.
If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the "recovery mode" alert ("iTunes has detected a phone in recovery mode").
Use iTunes to restore the device.
If you do not see the "Connect to iTunes" screen, try these steps again. If you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen but the device does not appear in iTunes, see this article and its related links.
Select the iPod in iTunes and choose "restore from backup".
If you still can't get it to work, you have done all you can and only Apple will be able to help.

Could you view the report from launchpad from the same browser?
Could you try a different browser version?
In IE, could you try using compatibility mode?

  • Green bar on video when exporting to PDF

    Hello,
I am building an interacative PDF in InDesign, and linking videos from URLs. I edited the video in PremierePro, and exported to H.264 format with "Apple TV, iPad, iPhone 3G and newer - 360p Widescreen 23.976" preset.
The video looks good on my desktop. I then Place From URL in InDesign and it looks good in InDesign SWF Preview window. However, when I export, there is a circular discoloration in the middle of the video and a thick green horizontal bar at the bottom of the screen.
Images are attached of my PremierePro export settings and green bar/discoloration. Any thoughts on what I can do to fix this?
(Note: I tried embedding video directly, instead of link, and that does not solve it).
Thank you very much for any tips!

I haven't tried exporting in Media Encoder, since I'm assumed it would process it the same as Premiere Pro. Are there any settings you would recommend trying differently in Premiere Pro?
    Thanks,

  • Videos export with purple/green artifacts/splotches/flashes with Media Encoder CC but export fine with Premiere Pro CC?

I use Premiere Pro CC to edit videos, and videos render fine when I export through Premiere Pro, but when I try to use Media Encoder CC, the video exports with weird splotches of green/purple artifacts all throughout. It almost looks like the video is glitching and having a seizure of green and purple. No idea why this happens. Could anybody help me? I use Media Encoder to export bulks of videos at a time through its queue feature, which is why I prefer to use Media Encoder for video exporting.
    Please and thanks.

    Mitch,
I was hoping that you and others might have some insight as to whether the purple and green artifacts / splotches seen in the attached screenshots (taken from 4 consecutive frames here but occurring through the entirety of the clip) could possibly have resulted from exporting video with ~ Premiere Pro CS5 or 6 ? As seen below, these splotches alternate back and forth between purple and green in every consecutive frame. I was also hoping that someone might know if this is a relatively common type of artifact and how it is caused.

  • Problem Exporting / Importing print forms with program RSTXSCRP

    Hi!
there is problem Exporting / Importing print forms with program RSTXSCRP.
when I transfer print form from one SAP system to other, logo image and some text is missing... what could be the reason?
Maybe there is other way to transfer print forms between SAP systems without using program RSTXSCRP?
    Will reward,
    Mindaugas

    Hi,
when you transfer print forms from one sap system to another, logos are not transfered automatically. these are actually .bmp files which need to be existing in every client. then only when you run your print program logo can be seen in your print output. hence logos need to be created explicitly in every client where you want to run your print program.
    thanks,

  • I've been advised by Firefox to download a software update, but upon downloading, the bar with green lines running across it with the message 'Connecting to the update server' is just going on indefinitely; can you advise on this?

I was advised by Firefox to download and install an important software update. But the bar with green lines running across and saying 'connecting to the update server is going on indefinitely (about an hour now). Can you advise?

Remove the files in the updates and updates\0 folder.<br />
You may need to delete active-update.xml and updates.xml as well if present.
    XP:
    C:\Documents and Settings\&lt;user&gt;\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Mozilla Firefox\updates
    (%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Mozilla Firefox)
    * http://kb.mozillazine.org/Software_Update (Software Update not working properly)
If you have problems with updating then best is to download the full version and uninstall the currently installed version.<br />
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
    * Firefox 4.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
    * Uninstall your current Firefox version.
    * Do not remove personal data when you uninstall the current version.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
    * It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder] and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

  • Green bars when Mercury GPU is enabled.

    hello,
I have problems with Mercury Engine in my CS5. On some clips there are strange bars on the left side - as below.
Fresh Windows 7/64, latest drivers for EVGA 570 (i put it on the list).
Clip is created with AE (avi with v210) and then imported into Premiere.
What is more strange - this problem is only on some of the clips, not on all of them.
Could it be problem with uncompatible graphic card? Codec? How to solve it?
    best regards,
    marcin

When I export from AE - I can choose "format avi" and "no codec" - then everything is fine.
but I can't choose "no codec" in Premiere - when I choose "uncompressed microsoft avi" - and export - I have those green bars
If I choose "v210" in AE - I have also green bars.
So it is "v210 codec" and Mercury Engine problem.
Is there a way to export to uncompressed format from Premiere without v210? or why Premiere can't handle it?
