Printing Extra informatin

Product Name is HP. Product # CZ152A, S/N [Personal Information Removed], FPU # CZ152-84001.
The printer was working just fine. Then all of a sudden it started to pring out this explanation page in addition to the desired printed document.
The explanation page contains: Filename, Directory, Template, Author, Creation Date, Change #, Total Editing Time, Last Printed on Date and time, Number of pages, Number of words and number of Characters.
I have uninstalled the software, reinstalled the full version software, and restored the computer.
I don't know what else to do.

I understand you are experiencing unnecessary prints. I'd like to help!
Does this occur when making a copy?
I have a couple of steps I'd recommend.
First, I would recommend a power reset on the printer. Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug the printer back in. Ensure you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any sort of surge protector or power bar.
Second, I'd suggest downloading and running the HP Print and Scan Doctor.

Invoice print extra page w/o any data in repetitive area or end of report

I did not use Page Footer and reduced those "hidden fielded" height to 26 with checkmark for Adjust Area Height, but the invoice will print extra page with blank repetitive area and page footer, Report Header and Repetitive Header showed.
How to remove the extra page?
I have another one that do not print the extra page but each page has same Invoice Total, Frt, Tax with Remittance Address that should only show in the last page. I know this is because I put Invoice Total in Page Footer. When I remove Page Footer to End of Report area then I got extra page with no data in repetitive area or end of report.

i think problem be create in Repetetive Area.
Do this in your PLD,
->> Open your PLD and save as a duplicate PLD (Just testing PLD).
->> Right Click in PLD and Choose the Display Hidden Fields in PLD.
->> Reduce the Height of all fields in Repetetive Area, Page Header and End of Reports.
for example,
->> Select all fields including Hidden fields in Repetetive Area & Repetetive Area Footer and
Reduce the Height in General tab on Properties Widnow.
put the Height -> 15 and Font Size -> 10
->> Reduce the Repetetive Area Height and put the Tick mark in Area Height Adjustment in Format Tab.
Try to remove all fieds(including Hidden fields) in Page Footer and Reduce the Height.
ex. Page Footer Height -> 0

Pld printing extra pages

hi
i seem to have a problem with print layout designer. it seems to be printing extra pages for my clients AR invoice. it does not happen every time though. the client works with data brought into sap through a add on. we also feel that the problem could be due to the invoice not having to print all the child items and just the parent items alone.
the extra pages are basically blank with all the header and footer information. any idea what this could be? or what i should be looking at to rectify this issue?

It all depends on how your template is setup. Is you template set up as a Multi Page Invoice template.
As you have said it could be because of how the data is for the Invoices imported through the Add On.
What do you exactly mean by "invoice not having to print all the child items and just the parent items alone."

HP L7680 printing extra blank pages

I had repeated issues with LHP 7680 printing extra blank pages. Tried the "new driver" fix and that didn't work. Found the fix: Go to Start, Control Panel, Printers and Faxes, RIGHT CLICK the L7680 Printer, click on Properties, click on Advanced tab. "Spool print documents...." is selected. Change the selection to PRINT DIRECTLY TO PRINTER. Tested and resolved the issue when printing Word and Excel docs

Try this...
1. Go to the Printers folder and right click on the printer icon, then select ‘Run as Administrator’, and select ‘Properties’.
2. Click on the ‘Advanced’ tab, and click on the ‘New Driver’ button.
3. When you have to select the printer driver, select the ‘Have Disk’ button and point it to the installation CD or the ‘7zSxxx’ folder and install it from here. Or you can look under the ‘Manufacturers’ list and select ‘Hewlett-Packard’ instead of ‘HP’, and then select the appropriate printer driver.
4. Complete the wizard, then apply the settings by pressing the ‘Apply’ button. Try printing again, and the issue should not reoccur.
Also, are you using Windows Vista?

Print extra blank pages & problem receiving faxes

Hi -- My Photosmart C7280 All-In-One begins most printing jobs by printing out a blank page. Also, if I'm printing multiple pages, many of them will be blank (but the document prints in entirety) It doesn't matter if I'm printing a Word document (which I know has a conflict with HP, and which I also know does not have a blank second page at the end), or an attachment to an e-mail, or information from a web page, or even pritnting an envelope. In fact, I have to let the envelope roll through blank, wait for the error message that there is no paper in the tray, then shoot it through again before I'll receive a printed envelope. Also, if I'm copying multiple pages I'll receive the extra blank pages, but not if I'm copying pages one at a time.
Also, I used to be able to receive a fax automatically. The call would go to my recorded message. As soon as it ended, the incoming fax was recognized and it would print. It doesn't do that any more. I have to manually pick up the receiver of the phone before the machine will begin receiving the fax.
My HP printer is on a network. I can't remember if it still worked or not after we placed it on the network. Also, I recently downloaded IE 8.
This has been frustrating me for months, but have not had the time to seek help till now.

I have the same problem - print a document and a few seconds later a blank page comes out.... Any ideas?

thanks for your prompt responses...added to the question, in the extra page i'm getting spool information.actually the program is set in background.once the invoice is issued the form is sent to printer.and in the spool it is displaying the actual pages only.its not showing the extra pages.but once it is out from the printer,i'm getting the extra pages with the spool information

Lion address book prints extra page

For years I had no trouble printing envelopes straight from Address book. But since I upgraded to Lion, when I print an envelope, it prints (1) the envelope just fine, but then also (2) a blank 8.5"x11" page. How do I get it to stop printing the extra page?

HP printers for years have had a problem printing an extra envelope from the Apple Addressbook Application with the # 10 envelope.
Solution: Select a #9 envelop. This prints about the same size and does not have an extra envelope.
How to: From Address book, select print, Style: Envelopes, Layout: Layout pulldown Official 9 then print
Interestingly the two smaller and two larger sizes only print one envelope. You can test this by clicking pdf and open pdf in preview.
On System 7.4 I cannot find a way to change the orientation to verticle as described above.
I have told Apple.

SAP is printing extra blank page

When i print from windows server/print server/host printer the print is normal but when i print from SAP application an extra blank page is created. Please share solution if anyone have come across similar/same issue.

Thanks for your support and patience. The issue has been resolved. Please find the Solution below:
The TCP/IP printer’s network settings by typing in the printer’s IP address in your windows internet explorer.
When connecting to the printer’s IP address: on internet explorer, you able to see the printer’s configuration settings. By clicking on the configuration link on the left menu and selecting the “Networking” Tab, at the bottom of the screen there is an option for ‘LPD Banner Page.’ The current setting for this option is ‘enable.’ the LPD option is set to ‘enable’ by default. Therefore, this option needs to be manually ‘disabled’ after the printer is set up

Okidata printer timeout prints extra page after each job

After updating to Yosemite, I get the following problem. When printing to my Okidata C331dn, everything seems fine, but about 25-30 seconds later, I get an extra page printed with the following:
ERROR: timeout
OFFENDING COMMAND: timeout
STACK:
This happens every time I print. I am using the Mavericks drivers via USB (Oki has not updated their drivers, yet).
Any ideas on how to stop this? I am wasting a lot of paper!

I have had the same problem with an Oki MC560 color NETWORK printer, after upgrading my Macbook to Yosemite.
Now it seem solved after changing the printer network setting "IEEE802.1X" from "NO" to "YES"
(I don't know why !).
Now, after each printing, the printer remain "active" for some minutes, with "Data" led blinking as it should print something else,
and then it goes in standby (without printing the extra page with timeout error).

Color Laserjet prints extra pages on startup

I just bought a CP1518ni color laserjet printer and installed it. It works fine except that whenever I restart my computer, the printer prints 3 extra pages. Each has a single B&W line with gibberish printed at the top. I've tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the printer but the symptoms remain the same.
I am running Windows XP.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Printing extra Pages

Hi All,
I have made a PLD for A/R Invoice. The print preview is comming all right but when I am giving for print an extra page is printed.
Like the preview is showing one page and it is completely ok. Now when I give to print then the first page is printed and the second page is printed with the header part only.
How to correct this. What can be the cause?

Check also in the Layout you are working with: Print Layout Designer -> Display Properties -> Format -> "Preview Printing Layout" box if you have it checked and the value for the box 'Change Size in" is '-1'.

Printing Extra

In Safari (and only in Safari) whenever I print something I get one extra page that is blank. It is not entirely blank, as it contains the Web Address on the footer - but there is not actual body to the page. The only way I am able to fix it is to do a preview and see how many pages will come out and then do a print from pages xxx to xxx and cut the last one off.
Anyone have any ideas?

I found that many pages have extra "
" at the end of their page - allowing the printing to spill blank onto the next page. I guess I just have to preview more pages before printing.

HP Pro L7680 all-in-one printing extra blank pages

No matter what I print the printer adds a blank page before and after each print job. Doesn't matter application amd I don't see it on fax, scans or copies.
Thi shappened after my laptop had to be wiped and reloaded. I reloaded the drivers and has happened ever since.

Try this...

Print - extra space

I am printing a dynamic text from flash.
every thing works fine , But I get unwanted spaces/ small boxes at the end of every page.
Like
Using string functions I tried to remove the last character if it is a space.Even though I am getting this problem.

Photosmart C4780 - Prints extra page even after HP driver update installed

With Mavericks (OS X 10.9.4) installed, I have noticed that completed print jobs remain in the print queue for my HP Photosmart C4780 when printing from Safari and Preview. If I want to print another (different page), I usually have to delete the previous (100% complete) job from the queue so that the printer will print (I seem to recall that sometimes, with a Google Chrome browser, this is not necessary). If I close my MacBook Pro's lid (which puts it to sleep) with a completed print job remaining in the HP queue, it will then print again for a second time.
Today, I installed the driver update below, but the problem did not go away when I tried to print from Safari and Preview.
Critical HP Print Driver Update to address printing of an extraneous page - 2014-01-31 , Version1.0.0, 10.56M
Any ideas of how to solve my problem?
