Printing from Adobe products to Xerox Color Qube 8570

When I print from Adobe Photoshop, In Design, or Illustrator to the Xerox Color Qube 8570 the print is fuzzy and graduated shading is printed as solid. Does anyone have suggestions to remedy this problem? I'm using Adobe CC and Windows 7. I have gone to the Xerox site and downloaded different print drivers to no avail.
Thank you.

In CWIS go to Properties > General > Printer Defaults and disable the Startup page  As for garbage prints, That sounds like a PS error. And they are almost always due to improperly embedded fonts. Have all your users switch the following in their drivers (Picture is the global driver, but the regular driver will have the same option.) Essentially by default the printer uses its own locally stored fonts on the jobs, but when the fonts are misunderstood, or unknown it winds up printing wingdings.

  • Xerox Color Qube 8570 - How to turn off startup configuration report page?

Our printing at work sometimes will print off a Startup page and then continue to print lines on different pages of just symbols. This last print job reach up to 68 pages, which of course is a nightmare of wasteful paper. Does anyone know how to stop this from printing?

  • I cannot print from Adobe on My Mac

I have tried all I know to do, but I cannot print from Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 from my Mac running Mac OSX - 10.5.7.  I have two different printers - a Cannon MF4150 & an HP Color Laserjet 2550.  When I click print, the preview is not available and it just goes into queue and never prints.  I am also running VMware Fusion -- I cannot get it to print from the Windows XP virutal machine either.  I am using just the standard Adobe Reader 9 in the Windows side.  I don't know what could possibly be wrong.  The Windows XP side is printing through a sharing mode with the mac side.  Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong?

I've tried that multiple times as well as resetting the printers themselves.  I've deleted and re-added the drivers as well.  Any other suggestions?

  • Error printing from Adobe Photoshop CS

    I have Mac OS v10.3.
I am in a business environment and print to networked Xerox printers.
Whenever I print from Adobe Photoshop CS to any printer the images are chopped up and I get errors on my prints: Error: ioerror Offending Command: readstring Stack: followed by a couple of lines of misc characters.
I can print fine from any other program but Photoshop. I have tried reinstalling Photoshop without any luck. I also have all of my Mac OS updates installed. Any suggestions?

You posted in the wrong forum, and an admin moved it for you.
Unfortunately the error is from the printer driver, not Photoshop.
Assuming you're using the latest version of Photoshop (12.0.4 or 12.1), you need to contact HP for an updated driver to fix their bugs.
(if you don't have the latest version - go update now)

  • Problems printing from Adobe 9

Hi, I am having problems printing from Adobe 9. I can open documents OK but when I try to print them it takes me through the normal print screens, then when I press print it says unable to print document followed by page not selected.
I have also try to delete Adobe 9 and reinstall but when I come to reinstall, I have to click on the grey box at the top of my screen to agree to allow the instillation to take place and everything just freezes up and I have to ctr alt del to move on.
Everything was working fine until the last couple of days
Any help would be much appreciated

My problem is the printing will eventually happen but I have to wait for as long as half an hour. What gives? Are there worms in the Acrobat 9 product? How can I resolve this problem?

  • In Windows 8 environment--can't print from Adobe reader

Hi there. I have problems printing from Adobe reader in a Windows 8 environment. The printing defaul is "OneNote", and I can't get to the print screen to change it to my normal printer. When you try to print (with button or Ctrl-P) the print screen opens for a split second and then Adobe reader closes.
I would like to disable "OneNote" as the default, but can't get the print screen to stay open long enough for me to select my regular printer. I would be grateful for advice. I am sure there is an easy fix--I just don't know what it is. I tried uninstalling and re-installing Adobe reader, so i was able to print for the rest of that one day. Nest day--back to square one.
    Thanks.

Did all the updates thru 8.1.7.  Now it tells me to print the document I need to activate Adobe which I did when I installed it.  Under the Help screen the activation tab is greyed out.  If I did de-activate it on my old laptop I don’t think it would change the state of this tab.

  • Can't print from Adobe Reader X

Whenever I try to print from Adobe Reader I get the message "Adobe Reader has encountered a problem and needs to close." The error signature is:
    AppName: acrord32.exe
    AppVer: 10.1.2.45
    ModName: acrord32.exe
    ModVer: 10.1.2.45
    Offset: 0005e985
It does not matter if a PDF file ois on the web and it opens as a web page or if I open a file that is alreadty on my comuter.
I tested printing from an older version of Adobe Reader and it does not create a problem (that version is coming up when I download files that
    are on my Cloud server.
What is the solution, if any?

Kindly try the workaround available at http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/928/cpsid_92870.html and this should help resolve the problem

  • Printing from Adobe Reader X with HP UPD PCL6 ver 61.107.4.8232 and Win 7 x64

    Hello,
I have a Windows 2003 32-bit server with HP UPD PCL6 driver, version 61.107.4.8232 installed for several HP P4014dn printers.  I'm running into an issue printing from Adobe X on Win 7 x64 machines.  There is a delay of about 5-10 minutes, per page, before the job is spooled and printed.
Any thoughts on why this only affects Win 7 x64 machines?  Printing works without any issues on Win XP and Win 7 32-bit machines.
    Thanks in advance.

This is true when printing a .pdf file opened thru IE and a saved .pdf file.

  • Exported pdf from indesign drops punctuation when printed from adobe reader

Is Adobe Reader installed on the same computer Adobe Acrobat is?

  • Lines Printing from Adobe Programs

Ok. This problem is killing me! Anytime I print from an Adobe program, I get lines running accross (left n right) the page. I've done nozzle cleaning and print head alignment. I even replaced my printer. Printer is not the problem (settings maybe). If I print from any (photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) adobe program.... lines! If I export from anything to PDF, lines print when I print from acrobat. Now, if I export to JPEG and open the file "non-adobe"(just double clicking it to open it), it prints without the lines. Only printing from adobe programs gives me the lines. I don't want to export everything as a JPEG. It's a pain. Anyone know what the problem is?
ps- the lines are like ink overlap, but are as wide as a piece of hair. Very tiny but annoying. I get the problem mainly when there's a gradient in the file and then try to print. Lines all the way down the page and the gradient is in steps almost. So I guess I get lines when printing anything with a gradient, and print it from an adobe program. Help!

Also, printing solid black gives me lines, but you can barely see them unlees you catch a shine of light on it. Then you can really see the lines.

If you are running Windows 8 on a laptop with an Intel-based processor, you can install Adobe Reader XI (desktop app with classic UI) alternatively.
Go to your Windows 8 desktop.
Go to http://get.adobe.com/reader/ in your browser.
Download and install Adobe Reader XI.
Launch Adobe Reader XI and open a PDF file.
Select File > Print from the menu.

  • Printing from Adobe Reader

Since updating Mac OS X to Version 10.6.6, I can't print from Adobe Reader. I have read other recent posts with similar problems, but have not located an adequate response. I have updated Driver Software from HP. The problem is inconsistent. Sometimes one or two pages will print from a multi-page document. More often nothing will print... "Sending data to printer" Nada. Printer goes offline. It's always been touch and go with Adobe Reader, as well as printing from Safari, but never as bad as this. I used to save documents from Safari as PDF's so they would be easier to print. Not anymore! Any ideas?

+I used to save documents from Safari as PDF's so they would be easier to print. Not anymore!+
Why not? I only use that Reader when I'm forced to. Simply do a Command + I on any PDF document and, in the resulting window, choose Preview under "Open with:" and then click on "change all" underneath. That will make Preview the default app for PDFs and it works like a charm.

  • Users are unable to print from Adobe Reader X

    Hi,
Multiple users in our environment report that they are unable to print from Adobe Reader X. They receive the following error messages (translated from Dutch) Document cannot be printed. There are no pages selected.
We are using Reader version 10.1.3
What we have tried to resolve the issue (without any positive results):
    - Repair the installation of Adobe Reader.
    - Update Adobe Reader to the latest version for Vista (x86) (10.1.7)
    - Created new user profile for the affected users.
The documents can be printed without any errors from Foxit Reader.
At the moment we use the following workaround:
Open the document in Internet Explorer, and then print the document from there.
Does anyone have any idea how we can resolve this?
    Best regards,
    Duncan

    James,
I'm sorry to hear that you were having the same problem under 9.5.  I had recently updated to Adobe Reader 10 under Windows 7 and yesterday my "default printer" simply disappeared from the options on my control panel.  I re-installed my printer, but today whenever I would open a PDF document and try to print it, the document would simply close with no further ado.  After a bit of trial and error, I ended up uninstalling Adobe Reader 10 and going back to Adobe Reader 9.5.  Now everything is working just fine.
