Printing from Elements

Cannot get Elements ( first version 11 and now 13 ) to talk print to brand new Epson Stylus Pro 7890.
Works out of Lightroom - but not Elements.
Don't have exact warning message in front of me - but are there issues, etc., with Elements and Epson, etc.

Did you get you problem resolved. I am experiencing the same problem with with element 8 and Epson r300 printer. I tried both support groups Adobe wanted me to upgrade to element 9. and Epson gave me the phone running. I have taking the printer to a Epson service center and the printer is working fine. I have change the various options in the software and no sucess. I had one image that I only crop and it the colors came out wrong. Now if I don't touch the image and just print it the colors come out fine.. So please let me know if you got it resolved.

Printing from Elements 8 using Epson Stylus Photo R300

Help! I'm really quite useless at all this computer stuff, and my problem is slowly driving me mad!!! I am trying, unsuccessfully, to print from Elements 8 using an Espon Stylus Photo R300. However, I dont know what settings to use. I can get prints - but they dont represent what I see on the monitor. I have tried using Picasa and the representation on the print isnt too far removed from that on the monitor. iPhoto is slightly worse. Can anyone tell me in simple english what settings I need to use - I have seen other discussions on the same topic and think that color management should be done by the Elements 8 and not the printer? Any help would be very much appreciated - before I lose it all together

Hi Ben,
I can't reproduce that behavior. The only two things I can think of at the moment are (1) you accidentally added a shortcut as a panel shortcut instead of a diagram shortcut or (2) the name of the object you specified isn't for the "Multiply" node, but for some other node (you said "Multiplication" in your initial post) that can only be dropped in certain places (i.e. maybe it's a node that is only valid in Simulation diagrams). Can you post the following lines from your LabVIEW INI file so I can look into it further:

No, that's not that simple. Printing means resizing (resampling) most of the time and depending on your printer type/printer driver, a default sharpening is generally applied.
By the way, more sharpening does not necessarily mean better quality. That's the advantage of being able to control both resizing and sharpening from the editing software. There has been many books written on the 'art' of sharpening.

Printing from Elements 9 Organizer causes PSE to crash

Whenever I try to print a picturem from Elements 9 Organizer, a window pops open that says: "Elements 9 Organizer has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." The window contains no error code or further information. My printer is an HP PSC 2170, and the most up-to-date driver already comes with Windows 7, which is my operating system. (I still have Elements 7 on my machine, and it can print without difficulty.) Does anyone have an idea how to fix this major problem with Elements 9?

We have the same issue, running Elements 9 and Windows 7 SP1 64-bit, and have tried a complete uninstall of Elements, reboot, re-install. We had added a new printer recently, so we also tried removing the printer and restarting. I've tried updating Organizer to 9.0.3, but the problem still occurs.
We can print any picture from edit mode, but if we select a picture or pictures and try to print from organizer, it crashes every time.
Anyone have ideas for further troubleshooting?

Printing from Elements 10 issues question:

If I print anything from my Elements 10 on our HP Officejet 8600 the printer goes birserk and will only print the odd page. After attempting to line feed numerous times, the printer comes up with "Out of Paper" however the printer has plenty of paper. This does not occur with the HP 8600 printing from Excel, Word or Explorer.
It was not that long ago we updated the printer driver. The earlier driver palyed up even more ! Seems to be an incompatibility between Elements 10 and certain HP printer drivers. Is there a patch from Adobe that will resolve this ? It appears to be the signal Elements sends to the printer to line feed between each page.
Look forward to areply ASAP.

Brad1313 where you able to resolve this? I have multiple xerox workcentre 7556 printers that we print from osx 10.7 through a 2008 r2 print server. before the print job is even released at the mac, a "Printer control command" gets stuck in the local queue and never makes it to the 2008 queue. If i delete the printer control command job at the mac, the actual print job is released and prints through the server to the printer correctly. Account codes are also in use with this machine, but this doesnt seem to be the issue... its the Printer control command that seems to be getting things stuck.... If I print directly to the printer using lpd i have no issue, the pcc file doesnt get stuck (i paused the queue to verify the pcc file is still being created, and it still is). Unfortunatley this is against company policy, all jobs must go through the server queue. osx 10.6.8 has no issue and im using the updated driver for the printer. Just curious if you found a work around. Thanks!

CANNOT PRINT FROM ELEMENTS 10

Not long ago I created a few documents and printed them out from Elements 10, now for some reason I cannot print, and I am getting error messages telling me to install my printer when there is one already installed. Please help!

Hatstead, I can print documents from all MS apps, however I was having a problem with a card creation software with the same issue.
I said was because before I desided to reply to your question, I checked the programs, both the card creation and Elements 10 and found that the issue has been resolved...for both. I am happy, but still don't understand what took place from the start of the problem to the resolution of the problem. I do remember clearing my cache and temporary files, but no updated downloads. What do you make of that? My biggest fear is, the problem resurfacing and I'll be starting back at square one. If you can help by giving me a few suggestions for future reference, I would appreciate it. Thank you for responding.

Has anyone had a problem with printing from Elements 9 on a MAC?

When I first installed Elements 9 and tried to print, all I got were blank pages. I contacted adobe support and after an hour on the phone, she referred me to the next level. I then received an email from them asking me to call them and in the meantime, they suggested things I shoud do. I did what they suggested and it worked. I was able to print. However, I was unable to indicate the type of paper or resolution that I wanted to print in. So, I called them again. It seems that on a windows PC, they give you five options for printing: 1. Select printer, 2. Select Settings, 3. Select paper size, 4. Type of print, and 5. Select Print size. On a MAC, You get only three options: Select printer, Select paper size and Select print size. Does anyone know another way to select the settings and type of print. I have been using Elements 4 for years with no problems. Elements 4 gives all the options. I don't understand why it is not the same in Elements 9.

In all the time I have been printing, on any program, the entire window opened up when I clicked on the print button. This one never did. I don't understand why Adobe support never told me about that when I called them.

I cannont print from Elements 13. Error message says "saved printer information is not compatible

I am getting the following error in elements 13 when I print a jpg to my Epson stylus 2000. "the saved printer information is not compatible with this version of photoshop elements.

Printing from Photoshop Element 8 on a R300 printer

This was a previous posting that did not work for me. I am experiencing the same problem that this user is having. I had stop using Element 8 entirely an decided to give it one more try. I can understand this young lady pain because I am have totally frustrated as well. I have try all tips that I have found on the web an nothing is working. If you have any suggest please let me know. I have included the original posting below. My photos never look like what I edit on the screen. If I open a photo that has never been touch and I just print it looks great. I cropped a photo with no other changes an the photo did not come out well. I tried adobe and epson and got phone run around. adobe wants me to upgrade to element 9 and I don't want to pay the extra money an still be frustrated. I have own both version 5 and 8 and have not been happy with either one. any suggestions

The printer is not listed in the “Devices and Printers” or it is listed but cannot work ?
If it is not listed ,please check whether the "Turn on network discovery" has been checked (Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Network and Sharing Center\Advanced sharing settings)?
You may need to manually add the printer from the “Devices and Printers” interface again. To do this :
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Devices and Printers\Add a printer \The printer that I wasn`t listed and add it again and follow the wizard.
At the same time ,it is recommended to download the driver for the printer from the manufacturer website.
If the issue persists ,clear the printer cache to have a check :
a. Search “Service.msc” and navigate to “Printer Spooler” service and stop it.
b. Look for this folder "%WINDIR%\system32\spool\printers" and delete all files in it.
c. Restart “Printer Spooler” service.

I have been using Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 for along time now. When I first used the program I had a different printer than I have now. Although I changed printers I never removed the software from my old one. Now this was never a problem until today. When I choose a printer I still had option to use the old one but always chose my new HP Envy 5530 and Adobe never had a problem printing from that new printer. However today I decided to remove my old printer from my computer and now my Adobe cannot find my new printer. How can I make it find the HP printer?

How do I Hide the text printed from a standard Text Element in SAP Script?

I have created one SAP Script which gets printed from IW33 using a standard print program.
In config the standrad SAP script is replaced by the zsap script.
Since the Zscript is printed from a Standard print program, I had to keep all the text elements used by the original(standard) SAP script.
I only kept the text elemets and commented out the printing part.
But still some values are printing. How do I hide these text element values?
I want to delete whatever its printing from these text element. Icant delete the standard text elemetns , otherwise the standard print program will give error.

I had to include these standard text elemets as they are called from the standard print program using which my zscript is getting printed.
for example:

Under operation i didnot print anything. Still some values which are passed in text element Operation by the print program is being printed in the form. i want to hide/delete these values.
