Printing from Flash player is blank

Not sure when this started but I can no longer print any .swf
files. The files appear on screen fine, but the pages are blank
when printed. I tried player 9, and just downloaded the latest and
I am having the same issue. With files online and off. I am using
Mac OS X version 10.5.5

Thanks for the advice. I did all you suggested and then tried it. Looks like everything boils down to Page Setup. I have two printers here at work and everything works fine if I set the HP Color Laserjet as my default in Page Setup. However, if I use the Canon MP830, the page goes wacko like before. For the Canon, the Canon IJ Driver (ver 4.8.3) was automatically selected at installation.
Doesn't matter which printer I print to...it all seems to depend on which printer I select in Page Setup. Any ideas on what is going on?

Upgrade from Flash player 7 to Flash Player 9

I have two website with many Flash image with url. When the
users upgraded from Flash player 7 to Flash Player 9, the links
don't work. I uninstalled the version 9 and installed version 7
again and the website works fine. Help me please!!!

They DON'T come from Flash Player.
They come from "adware" and the adware uses Flash Player to display the popups (sometimes).
You need to run a thorough system scan.

Where is the help for the latest malware attack from flash player? I am running mac ox x v10.7 lion, and everything that I can find says to download Java and neither of them will work. 10.6 update says its for version 10.6. java for osx date 7 says it will damage hard drive !!!

Print files from Flash player (application) 10 to ordinary PDF

Hi guys!
Look, I've just bought a ebook (running under flash player v10) which prevents me from printing any page to any pdf format (or doc file). it just allows me in a paper format (well, the maker did so on purpose I think). Do you know a way to print it off properly, to any pdf format application (pdf, nitro, and so on)

Adobe Flash Player Installer blank when installing?

I tried updating my adobe flash player and every time I installed it, and from all my three browsers, it remains blank when the "Adobe Flash Player Installer"
comes up and I cannot do anything. I just have to log off because it won't close. I tried uninstalling all my adobe stuff in my computer and still nothing will install and now I can't watch no youtube videos and it's just so annoying. Please help! (Picture below of issue)

Printing with Flash Player 8

I have been using the print() in Flash MX and it was working
fine as i required that is the image was printed int he center of
the page. But, now with the latest Flash Player 8, it is being
print from the top of the page, how to get this center with the
player? Do, i need to add the latest printjob() script for this or
is there any other option to attain this?

Well, i know that we can put a bounding box for the area to
be printed, but the problem here is to print the bounding area not
from the starting of the page but should be centered to the page. I
hope you got me.

Printing from Flash

(I just changed my first posting in this thread to give it a
new headline. The original one was "SWF embedded in a PDF - can
they communicate?", but it turned into a printing thread - with a
solution.)
I'm trying to build a printable form with multimedia help
(this is a free project, I don't get paid). Since I can't create
PDF from Flash I instead try to get the Flash into the PDF. It
would be very helpful (although probably not essential for this
particular project) if the embedded Flash could communicate with
the PDF on the outside, for example using ExternalINterface. That
interface is for communication with Javascript in a browser - and
since Acrobat forms support Javascript scripting I was wondering if
that would work? The docs only mention browsers.
Another question to achieve the same thing: I thought about
letting the user fill out the form in Flash completely. Then I
export the collected data into XML, and then open a PDF form which
reads the XML. However, I don't think there's a non-manual (for the
user) way of doing this, is there? Ahhhhhhrg, stupid project, why
did I volunteer...

Well flash can do the printout as well...so you don't need
the PDF exclusively for that. I think the difficulty is the local
copy working without complications/complexity. {UNLESS: you're
prepared to use a projector .exe}
When you embed a swf inside a PDF how is it embedded... ? Is
the embedded object able to be referenced, for example, using the
js inside a PDF.
Its been a long time since I used acrobat. ExternalInterface
does allow communication between the flash content and its
container - in a generic sense - like kglad explained earlier. So
ExternalInterface works in visual basic for example. It doesn't
appear to work as simply as its set up to work in the browser (see
http://vbfeeds.com/post.aspx?id=672).
Whether it works or how it works inside a pdf would probably depend
on the way the embedding is done, but I can't see anything online
about how to do it - and I am unable to try it myself.

Printing from Internet Explorer is blank

printing from other programs, Adobe, Excel, etc are fine. But, preview and printed page are blank from Explorer browser.

If I open the file in Reader and click File-Print, the Auto-Rotate and Center checkbox is checked. Page scaling is set to "Reduce to printer margins". Clicking OK yields the expected results. However, if I close Reader and then, in Windows Explorer, right click and then click print, the resulting print out is not auto-rotated nor is it sized according to the page size. I would have assumed that the print settings would be sticky as well, but that does not appear to be the case on this computer, or at least those settings are not applied to printing from Explorer. This may be a Windows XP issue, although I only seem to have the problem with 11 x 17 pdfs. Do you have any other thoughts?

Flash player 11 - blank space instead of the content

Adobe Flash Player 11 is not working for me !
Here's some information about my laptop: HP G60 AMD Sempron 2.00 GHz Memory (RAM) 3,00 GB 32-bit operating system WINDOWS VISTA
My current browser: Mozilla Firefox 5, but pretty much the same thing happens with IE.
Adobe Flash Player 10 seems to be working for me, only there are some websites that require to update my version to view their content. When I do so (it says my installation is successful), I can't access flash content at all (instead I see blank space), nor can I see the picture that's saying which flash version I run (instead - blank space).
Can you please help me with this issue ? Thanks !

Did you mean Firefox 15 or 5? 15.01 is the latest release version.
When you install 11.4 (http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer) what do you see when you visit this page: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/find-version-flash-player.html
If you just get white space, check Firefox's Add-ons page and click the Plugins tab. Do you see a listing for Shockwave Flash? If so, is it disabled or enabled? What version is reported?

Accessing the internet from flash player

Im can't view the Global security settings panel on the adobe
site. Its just a blank space. any ideas why I cant view it?
I have the latest flash player, using flash 6 to create a
small header animation to access a website. Had no problems ion the
past.....

OS 9 has no built-in ability to share an Internet connection.
You will need a software router like IPNetRouter to share the dial-up connection out to the Ethernet port.

Why does printing from firefox yield a blank page?

When printing on-line, the preview pane is blank and when selecting print, it puts out a blank page. I can print fine from Safari, but not firefox. I use a Macbook with OSX 10.6 operating system.

It sounds like you have a driver issue. What printer do you have? How is it connected? What operating system?

Layer disappears when playing from Flash Player

I have a dotted line animation in a layer. It shows up fine
when dropping to IE window but it disappears when playing from
inside Flash Player 7. Maybe it needs a newer version to play it
correctly but it's just a layer with a line in it. The SWF is
created with Flash CS3. Maybe Flash Player 7 comes from Studio 8
that is also on the PC.

I just found that it plays fine on Flash Player 9 which comes
with CS3. Some of the features probably are not compatible with
Player 7.

"Stop download"-option removed from Flash Player

Hello,
i reinstalled my OS just recently and all system components including browser and Flash Player (11.8.800.94) as well, of course.
Just briefly after the installation i noticed there was no longer an option to "Stop downloading video" as used to be before. At first i was annoyed and i thought it concerned only me, but on the search for solutions i stumbled over this thread: http://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/youtube/7AMubhSadeY[1-25-false].
Moreover i experience loading problems with YouTube content which i solely blame on the removal of this feature. While of course i am in no position to demand anything i would appreciate if you'd consider reenabling it in a future release. In the meantime.. could you please make a previous version available for download?

I think it was Youtube that removed the 'Stop download' feature.

Print from flash drive

I am trying to print from my computer and from a flash drive....neither is working. Computer says "printer offline", but everything seems to be plugged in and programmed?????
