Printing from HP dv9927cl wireless to HP Pavilion Slimline S5120F

Printing from HP dv9927cl wireless to HP Pavilion Slimline S5120F attached USB to HP Color Laserjet 1600 works only if I turn desktop off /on, prints while boot up.  It work fine with VISTA 64bit, but not with Windows 7.

You could try this solution, modified for your hardware, of course.

Hi I have been successfully printing from my ipad2 wirelessly to HP printer but for no apparent reason it has stopped . Any ideas please ?

Try clearing your printer queue.  Double click the bottom button to see your active apps and scroll to find your printer app.  Cancel all documents listed for printing.  Hopefully you'll b able to print again.  This solution worked for me recently.

  • My printer is connected to airport by usb but i cant print from my iphone wirelessly even though my iphone is connected to the network..my macbook pro prints wirelessy

    help
cant print from iphone but can print from macbook pro wirelessly thru airport extreme
why cant i print off the iphone

The iPhone cannot print to a device that is connected to the USB port of an AirPort router unless you install an App like Printopia.
Printopia - AirPrint to Any Printer - Print from iPad - Print from iPhone ...
I like this App because it works for me and there is also a free trial, so that you will know if it will work for you before you buy.

  • I installed the eprint home and biz app on my ipad. how can i print from my jetpro wireless printer

My iPad just states no printer found with air print. Is this an app that I need and will work with my wireless jet pro 8500

    Hello Monimc,
To print using the HP ePrint Home & Biz app you will need to send the print from the app. AirPrint is built in to the iOS and give you the print option from emails and web pages. AirPrint is not able to work with the OfficeJet pro 8500. Hope this is helpful.

  • I can print from my iMac wirelessly but here lately I can no longer print from my iPhones nor iPads on the same printer

Just recently I was able to print from all of my devices now the only one that prints wirelessly is the iMac the iphones & ipads say no air printer is found how can that be if the iMac is air printing?

    Hello, Carternite.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
Here are some troubleshooting steps that I would recommend going through when experiencing this issue.
    For best results
Verify that your iOS device is using the latest version of iOS available and that the app you're printing from isup to date.
Make sure that your AirPrint printer has the latest firmware version installed. Check your printer's documentation or contact the printer vendor for more information. A firmware update may be available, even if you just bought your printer.
AirPrint printers connected to Wi-Fi networks work with iOS. AirPrint printers connected to Wi-Fi or Ethernet networks work with OS X.
Wi-Fi capable AirPrint printers must be connected to the same home Wi-Fi network as your iOS device or Mac.
If you are unable to print
Check these things if you are unable to print, or if you see the message "No AirPrint Printers Found":
Make sure your printer has paper, and enough ink or toner installed.
Make sure your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iOS device.
Make sure your printer has power and is turned on. Try turning your printer off and then back on again to see if it resolves your issue.
Check to see if your printer has any error lights or indicators displayed on the printer's control panel. Check the documentation that came with your printer to clear any errors displayed.
Check with your printer's manufacturer to see if any firmware updates are available for your printer.
    Notes:
AirPrint printers connected to the USB port of an Apple AirPort Base Station or AirPort Time Capsule are not supported with AirPrint.
Some Wi-Fi AirPrint printers can take several minutes to join a Wi-Fi network after being turned on. Make sure that your AirPrint printer is connected to your Wi-Fi network before attempting to print.
Important: Printers not listed in this article are not supported by AirPrint. To search for an AirPrint printer model, use the Find feature of your web browser (usually Command-F) to search the list below.

  • I want to print from my deskjet 3050a connected to pavilion laptop by usb

I didn't get my printer email when setting up. I need it to print from my laptop using the wire usb connection.  The wireless button is flashing on the printer, but i want the eprint button on instead. Nothing happens when I press it. Where do I go from here? I can't retrieve the printer email because I don't know how to reset up the printer to get it again (if it was there in the first place). I need the right printer email to register it first on the HP eprint site before I can continue. Is that right?

    HI,
TO use eprint the printer needs to be connected to the network, it will no work via usb as far as i know.

  • Print to Windows Shared Printer from Mac on wireless network

My set up is: HP Deskjet 1050 410 USB to a WIndows 7 PC. The PC has 4 users, each password protected for login and  public (not protected) folders. The Macbook is running OS X 10/6/8. I have downloaded the latest HP drivers.
I found the printer on the workgroup network and installed it as the only printer on the Macbook. When I send a job to print, I am prompted to either login as a guest or as a user with a password. Either way, I get an eror message "On Hold (Authentication required)" Under Job Info is the following message "NT_STATUS_INVALID_PARAMETER"
THis is an improvement over what was happening before when I could not find the printer in the list and had to manually use the IP address. Even then, I could not print, I would get a communication error.
The first time I installed the printer driver (an earlier driver and earlier release of OS X 10.6) I had no problems printing from the Macbook. It found the printer and printed without any password authentication. Nothing has changed on the PC, the printer is shared with all users on the network, but I can't seem to print.
I noticed many postings with similar issues but I did not see any resolution. Help! (Thanks!)

hey just want to say thanks to you guys... I just this week switched to Mac after 14 years of heavy PC use. Mac's been awesome except for that I couldn't print to my PC based printer... now I can... and I couldn't of done it with out this apple discussion thread about HPIJS.

  • I can't print from my Mac wirelessly

I have to use the cord to print from my Mac.  But surprisingly others in my home can print to the HP Office Jet Pro 8600.  What gives?

Hi MaryEtta, and welcome to the HP Forums!
I see you are having issues printing.  I would like to help.
I am including a document to help determine whch version of the Mac OS you are using:
Mac OS X: How Do I Find Which Mac OS X Version Is on My Computer?
I would suggest deleting the printer from your print system, using this document: Uninstalling the Printer Software.
Once you have deleted it, I would suggest verifying and repairing the disk permissions: About Disk Utility's Repair Disk Permissions feature.
I would also suggest running your Apple updates:  OS X: Updating OS X and Mac App Store apps
After the updates, I would recommend reinstalling the HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One Printer - N911a Drivers.
Good luck and please let me know the results of your troubleshooting steps. Thank you for posting on the HP Forums!

  • How to print from my ipad wirelessly

How do I print from my ipad 2 using canon MG3150 aio printer?

Hopefully you have one of the AirPrint capable printers listed.  If so, this explains everything:
    AirPrint basics

  • I would like to print from my iPad wirelessly to an epson  artisan 835 printer

I would like to know if I can print wirelessly from both an iPad 4 and an iPad air to an epson artisan 835 printer. So far I have not been able to make it happen. The list of printers does Not include the 835. I would rather buy an additional printer than get into AirPort Extreme if that's what it takes.

If you want to print directly from an iPad you need an AirPrint printer. Otherwise there are workaround options that involve varying degrees of expense and / or inconvenience.

  • Cannot print from laptop, have wireless too

I have a printer J6400 and I have a laptop DV2000. I had my printer working for couple of years. Something change now i cannot print wireless. I had to plug my USB port in order to print. What happen? does it have somehting to do with software changes.

Your static LAN IP addresses have been set incorrectly.  This is likely the cause for your problems.
With Linksys routers, a fixed LAN IP addresses must be assigned in the device that is using the address.  So you need to enter the fixed address in the printer and in the NIC, not in the router.
When using a Linksys router, any fixed LAN IP address must be outside the DHCP server range (typically 192.168.1.100 thru 192.168.1.149), and it cannot end in  0, 1, or 255.
Therefore any fixed LAN IP address would need to be in the range of
    192.168.1.2       thru 192.168.1.99  or
    192.168.1.150  thru  192.168.1.254
assuming you have not changed the default DHCP server range.
Also, although your printer may need a fixed LAN IP address, it is unlikely that your computers need fixed addresses.  Unless you have a specific need for a fixed LAN IP address for you computers, it is best to let them get an address from the router's DHCP server.

  • Unable to print from MacBookPro to printer in Windows network

    Hi,
I am trying to print from a MacBookPro on an HP printer connected to a desktop computer running Windows Vista.
    MacBookPro  - running Mac OS X 10.7.5; 2 GHz Intel Core 7; 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Windows desktop computer - Acer Aspire M1100 running Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 32-bit; 2.1 GHz AMD Athlon X2 Dual Core
Printer - HP Deskjet F2210 All-in-one (printer, scanner), connected to Windows Desktop via USB (direct, not hub)
Wired/Wireless environment - Motorola SBG900 Cable Modem, to which the Windows Desktop is connected either wirelessly or via Ethernet cable
The printer will print documents when connected directly to MacBookPro via USB, but over the network, this is showing:
On MacBookPro: In the printer queue, the message shows, "Waiting for print job to complete..."
On the Windows Desktop: In the printer queue, the size of the document comes up as ...KB/...KB (in my case, 10.7 KB/13.8 KB) - won't change, number of pages "N/A"
On the printer front panel: blinking On/Off button light (blinking slowly, suggesting printer is still busy) - the printer will start to kick into action, but the only thing happening is that blinking light...
... and that's it! From there, there is no more progress (even after 10-20 minutes); you have to cancel the print job on both the MacBookPro and the Windows Desktop.
This is what I have tried already:
Making sure both machines are in the same network (check)
Making sure both are in the same subnet (check)
Deactivating Windows firewall and the firewall in the router/gateway (does not solve issue)
Logging in to Windows Desktop over Finder on the Mac using a user name that is the same on both machines (does not solve issue)
Deleting Keychain Access stored passwords in case they were incorrect (does not solve issue)
Making sure drivers for printer are up-to-date on both MacBookPro and Windows Desktop (check)
Deleting the printer from the MacBookPro and letting the system find it by itself when printer  connected directly via USB (does not solve issue)
I have also tried installing the printer as described in Apple Support article HT3049 (How to manually add a Windows shared printer.) It seems like there are two ways to add a printer, one is by using the "Windows" button in the "Add printer" window toolbar, the other is by using the "Advanced" button. Both did not help.
I exchanged the printer cartridges, since low ink levels apparently can also cause errors when printing in a network (read that somewhere here - but does not solve issue either.)
In order to see if the Windows version has something to do with it, I connected a Windows 7 laptop to the printer and tried to print from the MacBook wirelessly to it (no success there, either).
When printing first when we got the MacBookPro, I think it worked to print over the network, but for whatever reason, things won't budge at the moment. (I guess, it's a driver issue, but the drivers are up-to-date.) I must be doing something wrong, I just don't seem to be able to figure out what, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you in advance.
