Printing from Safari with Print Central Pro

I have an IPAD 2 and print central pro.  Safari offers a print option on the menu that has the curved arrow and box, but it doesn't see my wireless printer.  Priint central pro sees the printer and works independently.  Is there a way for Safari to print through print central?

C_P_T-
I have the older PrintCentral.  It does not show up in Safari's print routine.  I also have Print n Share from the same company.  It DOES show up in Safari's print routine when selecting a printer.
It looks like you will need to use PrintCentral Pro's built-in browser.  My version doesn't seem to have a way to import Safari's bookmarks, but I haven't looked very hard.

On my iPad, I'm trying to open a PDF from Safari with iBooks, but when I choose "Open with ..." in Safari, only Pages and Dropbox show as options.  I'm running iOS 7.1.2 and iBooks 3.2.  I have rebooted the iPad and that did not help, and reinstalled iBooks, which also changed nothing.  Thanks for any ideas!

Yup, it was uploaded to our school Wiki as a PDF, and Pages did open it.  I was then able to move it to iBooks, but I'd rather avoid the extra steps.

  • How can I download videos from youtube with may MacBook Pro? I cannot download with real player. So how can I do it?

How can I download videos from youtube with may MacBook Pro? I cannot download with real player. So how can I do it?

There are two apps that I know of - and I would also swear that they come from the same developer, although they've different names. Both have free trials and both cost $40 (but both do 'other' video conversion as well).
One is WonderShare - I bought this one and it works very well for downloading YouTube videos as well as converting just about any file format you can think of.
The other is iSkysoft Video Converter (just noticed that it's now $36).
I tried them both and finally decided on WonderShare. Give them both a trial run and decide if you like either one enough to buy it. I don't know of any 'free' software that will allow you to download and convert YouTube videos, but perhaps someone else will come along and know of something...
    Good luck,
    Clinton

  • Any change to print to Canon MFP mailbox with A. Central Pro ?

We are using now Hp 4 / pcl5 and a Pdf drivers with Central Pro. Could it be any change to print a document to Canon's mail box by Central Pro ?. ^TRAYOUT command doesn't work with Canon iRC2380i and do not what a we need. Thanks for any help.

I do something similar to this. At work, I run a script that is launched at login, that does an +rsync -e ssh+ command to home. I use public key exchange for ssh login so the script doesn't get hung up waiting for a password entry. Because of VPN issues at work, I can't do the same thing at home. So instead, at work, I have a second similar script that is invoked by launchd. It kicks off at a specified time that is during my evening commute home.
Now, those two computers are tethered via ethernet. But I also have a laptop that roams wirelessly. I have the same sort of scripting arrangement set up there at user login, but I have a timer built into it. It loops issuing a +curl -s http://checkip.dyndns.org | awk '{print $6}' | cut -f 1 -d "<"+ looking for an external WAN IP address and if it gets a non-blank answer, then it assumes that it is connected to the internet, and continues with the rsync. If after a certain amount of time no valid WAN IPA exists, it times out and exits without doing the rsync.

  • Has anyone resolved the printing from Safari with borders issue??

I go to print from Safari and it won't let me set a border, it always prints right up to and over the left hand edge even when set at less than 100%!!
    Can this be corrected??

So it sounds like you're starting with Safari's "Print" command, only there is no printer!  I understand you're trying to end up with PDF, and that this worked for you in the past.
Here's an alternate approach to accomplish what you're trying to do: Take a screen shot.
You can either press Shift Command 3 to take a shot of your entire screen, or Shift Command 4 to take a partial screen shot (scroll the crosshairs over the rectangular region).
The resulting shot will end up on your desktop.

  • How do I sync the bookmarks from Safari with those in Firefox?

I have a PC running Firefix and Firefox Sync okay. I have an ipad 2 with Firefox Home installed and connected okay to my FF sync account.
I was expecting FF Home to sync the bookmarks on ipad Safari with those on the desktop. Apparently not so.
I can see the desktop bookmarks within the FF Home app on the ipad.
    How do I...
    - Properly sync bookmarks between the two systems (FF on desktop and Safari on iPad?)
    - Failing that, how do I sync the bookmarks on the iPad with Firefox? Currently it seems to be a one-way transfer (i.e. I can only access the bookmarks on the desktop PC from the iPad)
    Thanks
    James

Thanks for the quick response. At least I know now, and won't waste any time tying to get it to do something it wasn't coded for.
    Regards

  • "Save As" will not show Airport Extreme from Safari with Yosemite.

    macbook air mod-2011
    Yosemite 10.10.1
After upgrading to Yosemite, using save as from safari will not list Airport Extreme as a share drive for use. It worked fine before Yosemite.
Accessing finder window direct usually has AE, but it gets lost and I have to cycle wireless off/on.
    Please help.

Clearing the keychain has seemed to work, sorta. I have begun to understand the symptoms better. The Safari "save as" is a specific part of the symptom. If the MA (Mac Air) has been unattended over night or for hours, the readiness of the connection to the TC drive is lost. If finder is opened and the TC is clicked under the shared tab, then it takes 20-40 seconds to recognize the connection and have the "data" folder show itself. Once that happens, simultaneously, the safari list of available drives for saving populates and shows ready access to the TC.  It seems that there is some background connection maintenance process to keep access current with the TC that is corrupted or problematic with Yosemite.  I guess the latter since I am not the only one with this issue.
I think the Safari symptom would disappear if the connection was maintained with the shared TC drive.
    Nice talking to me . . . . later.

  • Fill in form created in Adobe 8 (Mac) and then trying to send out from PC with adobe 9 pro

I created a form using adobe acrobrat 8 pro on a mac (everything works and we have used in the past).  I need to send it out from a PC which has adobe acrobat pro 9.  I can open the form, view it and use the distribute feature (via email option).  Then I send it out and when we test the completed form coming back to the email on the PC (using a submit button option), it opens the PDF file, you can view the filled in data on the PDF however the dialog box that normally opens asking if you want to download or import the data does not appear, not even the form tracker dialog box appears - nothing happens.  You can't seem to do anything with the data from the form.  You can only view it. We need to be able to collect it in one file, and then export to a CSV.
Is there some compability issue between forms created between two platforms, and two different versions?
Am I missing a step on a PC.  I am not very familiar with a PC's and it doesn't seem to be as drag and drop oriented as a mac.
Do  I need to rebuild the form on the PC using adobe acrobat pro 9?

Please post this in the Acrobat support area, you'll get a better answer!

  • Relocating to France from UK with my MacBook Pro (UK)

Is it possible to purchase a EU/French two prong power adaptor for my UK bought MacBook Pro and no other changes are needed?... ie.. Just plug into laptop then into the wonderful french electricity and off we go? Or is there something I've not thought of. Really appreciate any help. Thanks

You just need the plug end adapter Nothing else needed. Your Macbook Pro power supply is rated for 110v - 240v. Read the print on the power brick.

  • Any Comments from Folks with New MacBook Pros?

Just wondering for those of you who have been lucky enough to get your hands on one of the new MB Pros... What are your thoughts? I think it may be time for me to upgrade my original Core Duo MacBook. Although... as much of a Mac fan that I am... I have PC notebooks as well (the last of which I got just a few months ago). I just have to decide if I should go with a new 13.3" and take the chance of getting kicked out by my better half for bringing home another notebook. The base model would probably be okay for me... but I'd probably go for the 2.53GHz model.

Have you checked out the iFixit teardown?

The 13-inch MacBook Pro is tempting the hel* out of me!

  • How can I enable 16 outs from Logic with Intel Mac Pro?

    Hi everyone,
I am a bit new to the digital output world! I have a Digi002 with Logic 7 and I have a Behringer A/D converter box to recieve digital output using optical cable. My question is this: I can only see 8 normal stereo outputs plus additional 9-10 output. Is there a command in Logic (as per the old "enable 16 in/outs in 5.5)to allow the greyed out extra outputs to work? or I am being very stupid and not enabling some command on the Mac?
I thank you all in advance for any kind responses!

I see you're using a Behringer A/D converter. I had one of these once. It made a lot of noise: crackling, pops etc. I know that was the cause as they only happened on those 8 tracks.
I may have had a lemon, but if you get similar problems, (and I hope you don't) I have changed to the Alesis AI3 and now have no problems, it might be worth you making a mental note.

  • Print central will not work

Have tried everything.print central and print central pro will not print anything.

    Joseph,
I have Print Central on my iPad and fortunately for me, it worked immediately.  One thing Print Cenral does offer is technical support, so Meg's suggestion to contact them would be the best option.  Of course, I'm sure I don't need to ask these questions, but you do have a wireless printer, correct?  You are connected to the internet through your router when attempting to print?  And you are using the same router the printer is connected to, right?

  • Problems mailing pages from Safari

At one time I was able to mail web pages or links from Safari with Mountain Lion, but now it has stopped working. The first time I try to mail a page, I'll get a new mail window open (and probably not coincidentally, a second instance of the Mail icon in the dock) but it presents me with a "Loading..." message that lasts until I quit it.
If I simply close that mail window, any other pages that I try to mail will not even open a new mail window until I force-quit the extra Mail app from the dock.
Anyone else seen anything like this, or have any ideas about what might be causing it or how to fix it?

Having two instances of Mail running is definitely not right. If the OS were functioning properly, it should not let more than one instance of Mail run in the same user account.
Restart your computer while at the same time holding down 'command-R' on the keyboard. When the Utilities window appears, choose 'Install OS X' from the menu. Your user data and apps will not be affected (just the system files get reinstalled), but do take the precaution of making proper backups before you do this.
