I am using an HP Photosmart C5580 All in One Printer.  Recently, whan trying to pront postage from both Ebay and USPS, I have gotten an error message:  An error message has occurred in the script to this page;  line:  2126; Char:  1; Error:  Unspecified error;  Code:  0; Url:  res://ieframe.dll/preview.js; (at this point, there is a question, "Do you want to continue running scripts on this page? Please help!

Hi bDannyman,
Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I understand that you are encountering script error when trying to print postage from the eBay and USPS web sites.
The error message you are receiving is a Windows error message.  I have included a link to Microsoft's Support center that gives you trouble shooting steps to take.  The title of the subject is "Error Message: An Error Has Occurred In the Script on This Page".

  • HP C309a won't print from websites

HP All in One C309a USB connected to Dell PC running Windows 7 will not print from website screens such as bank statements, coupons, etc that are in pop-up boxes. Example: on banking website, click on a certain statement and new window comes up--click print and the printer goes through all of the motions, but nothing prints on the blank sheet of paper. I have clicked off the Active X filter and checked to see if the websites are in the compatibility list and still no go. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the printer and the software with no improvement. Are there any other settings I need to check or solutions to this issue? I know it is not the website, because I can print these from another computer HP laptop with USB connection to an older HP printer.
    Thanks for any solutions.

  • Why can't I print from website

Can not print from website. Printer prints blank page. If I cut and copy to Word it will print. What do I need to do to print from website?

Go to System Preferences > Print & Fax then select the Printing tab.
    Click:  Print Queue
Delete any files in the queue then restart your Mac and the printer.
    Try printing from Safari.
If that doesn't help, go to ~/Library/Preferences
Move the com.apple.PringintPrefs.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Trash
Quit then relaunch Safari to test.

I have a HP Officejet Pro L7780.  Recently it won't allow me to print from websites,  The only way I can print is to 'copy' it to a word document then print.  ANy suggestions as this has only recently been an issue.

Trying running the Print Diagnostic Utility and see if it finds any errors http://http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=mp-91799-1&lc=en&dlc=en... . If that does not fix the issue try uninstalling the software and reinstalling it.

  • Printing from websites accessed through Firefox is unitelligible - just symbols, whereas fine with Safari.

For the last week or so, whenever I try to print from a website accessed by Firefox (either to pdf or printer) the resulting pages(s) are completely unitellibible -- they look like a kind of code. I have McAfee- SitAdvisor is disabeled and Firefox has full access through the Firewall. My Windows FIrewall is turned off.
When I use Safari for the same operations, everything prints fine.
    Please advise.
    Thanks

I also have this problem. I believe it is caused by being connected through a proxy which is adding a second compression to the data. (I think IF uses gzip compression already).
    Added details:
    * Opera also works.
    * I can view the IF admin section on FF
    * I can view the forum if I go through a web proxy.

  • Cannot print from website. I go to TD ameritrade and ask to print and old statement and nothing happens, if I use Internet Explorer it works

I go to TD Ameritrade web page open my account. I cannot print my statement from my account. nothing happens. If I use Internet Explorer it works fine.
I have the same problem printing from the IRS website.

    Hello @dimsum1234,
    Welcome to the HP forums.
I understand that you are having a problem with printing to a printer over the cloud.
    I would like to help.
Have you tried setting a manual DNS for the printer that is not receiving the print jobs?
I have found that the Level3 DNS address works best with laserjets.
    Primary DNS Server 209.244.0.3
    Secondary DNS Server 209.244.0.4
Another option is to remove that printers Web Services.
This will cause the printer to permanently loose its ePrint address.
When you enable the ePrint feature again, you will get a new address/claim code.
Then you can add the printer onto your HP Connected account, and Google's Cloud Print.

  • Printing from Internet Problems

Simply put, my iMac G5, running OSX 10.4.1 will not and has never (since being bought over a year ago) been able to print from the internet. I just recently have need to do so on a regular basis. Whenever I try to print anything it says OSX has a fatal error and quits. I am using an HP PSC 1410 which works fine with my MacBook but not with my desktop. I have all the drivers installed and I just checked for new drivers and installed those. Any other suggestions?

Interesting. I guess first I would suggest repairing permissions. And then, I would recommend an upgrade to a more recent version of Tiger. At least 10.4.9. Then make sure you are using the latest version of safari 3.0.4. Both can be found under the Downloads tab above.
Try this link to download Print Selection app.

  • Printing from TOC problem

I want to print from my .chm file using the table of contents using "Print the selected headings and all subtopics."  This does not work. I get an "Object expected"  script error for each page. Is there a way to get around this?

    Hi Margaret
There is an inherent issue with printing this way. Basically what happens when you attempt it, is that the Help Engine begins appending one topic after another in a large concatenated temporary file. And things sort of fall apart from there.
If you are serious about providing a printed output, you should consider supplying a PDF version folks may print from.
    Cheers... Rick

  • Cannot Print From Websites since 10.6.3 upgrade

When I go to print and airbill from FEDEX's website or labels from Avery's website, the print page in the browser only show a blank page.
Have tried to print on 3 different macs (all upgraded) and with 3 different browsers (safari, chrome and FF).
    Any ideas how to fix?

I have the same problem - but I discovered a couple of things:
On Safari, using the Xerox 7335 driver from their website (http://www.support.xerox.com/go/getfile.asp?Xlang=enUS&XCntry=USA&objid=104107&EULA=1&prodID=WC7328_WC7335WC7345&Family=WorkCentre&ripId=&langs=English%20%28US%29&plats=Macintosh%20OS%20 X&Xtype=download&uType=) you can print on Safari and other apps - except for Chrome and Firefox.
I checked this out on the newest Firefox and the newest Chrome.
BUT - when you set the Xerox 7335 to a Generic Postscript driver, then the printing works fine. Not sure why this is happening. Looks like somehow the Xerox driver and the two browsers are doing something that is not compatible.
And I experience the browser completely crashing instead of not printing.

  • I cannot print from Websites or my college online course. Tries to save files to desktop as an .xps document but nothing happens and I get an error message that print command did not work. Have reinstalled firefox and adobe, no help. Any suggestions?

Cannot print anything from internet using Firefox as browser. Please advise. I have to use Firefox for internet college courses, cannot print my assignments. I do not have this problem on Mac or using Internet Explorer. Only happens when using Firefox. When I select print a message comes up to save information to desktop as .xps file. Select save, sometimes it is on the desktop but I cannot open the file or it simply does not save file and get an error message that print command failed. What is happening?

{Ctrl + P} and select your printer in the Printer - Name box near the top of that window.

  • Printing from websites using Internet Explorer

I use Internet Explorer and have an HP Photosmart 7350 printer.  Whenever I print a page from a website, the print is extremely small.  Is there a solution to this other than to copy and paste the page to Word and adjust the font there?

That's a bug in the Adobe installer which seems to think IE10 is IE1.
Either put IE10 into IE9 or lower mode using Compatibility View.
    http://techathlon.com/internet-explorer-10-run-compatibility-mode/
Or simply use a different browser such as Google Chrome or Firefox.

  • When printing from websites, only first page prints correctly. Rest of pages lose about one quarter of the page on the right side.

Starting with the 2nd page, the pages are expanded and the whole right side of the page is gone. This only seems to happen on my Mac. I run Firefox on my PC and it prints correctly. At first I thought it was a problem with certain websites, but it always happens when I try to print out more than one page.

The 2nd page print scaling error has been an issue with Firefox on the Mac since 2011. People at Mozilla have not considered this a major problem. Try printing anything at less than 100% and you'll quickly see how every page after the first page being scaled wrong gets old real fast. The lack of a solution to this issue forced me long ago into using Safari as my primary browser. Good luck waiting until version 21 for a solution. Current release is 18.0.2.

  • Print from Internet problems

Whenever I try to print a pdf file from the internet, it comes out backwards. To read I must turn page over and hold up to a light. I'd rather not have to do that. I am running Vista, and I have re-intalled Adobe Reader 9. I never had this problem until I downloaded and installed update version 9. Can someone please help me correct this problem.
    Thanks, Rod
