Printing immedietely of Putaway list or Pick list in SAP WM

Hi
We have one requirement in WMS rollout is:
For automatic background printing of Putaway list or Pick list in SAP WM, System doesnt recognize Printer name as LOCL (settings in T code- OMLV). In OMLV we must have a network printer name for automatic printing the Putaway List after MIGO transaction and also for automatic printing the Pick List in Background with WMTA out put type - which triggers during delivery creation.
If we configure LOCL in OMLV screen the spool gets generated but it doesnt execute automatically and that needs to be triggered manually using T code SP02 or SP01.
We want to print these putaway or pick list automatically(either thru LOCL or network printer) immediate after generating a spool(without any user interaction).
Regards,
MM

Hi MM,
Inorder to get automatic put away list after GR you need to define the printer in OMLV settings.
Step 1:
If you are using Ricoh printer (Paper print out of TO) and Zebra Printer (Label printer for printing labels), you need define this combination under the icon "Printer pool/Labels".
Warehouse - Ricoh printer name - Zebra printer name (Pre-condition : Both the Ricoh and Zebra printers needs to be configured in SAP by your Basis team).
Step 2:
Under icon "Warehouse Movement" in the Assignment section, you need to define the condition for printing.
For example
Warehouse no: Source str type  Destination str. type  Printername
AB1                    902                         ***                         Ricoh printer name1
AB1                    Q01                         ***                         Ricoh printer name2
The above situation prints all put away list for receiving area to Ricoh printer name 1 & all put away list cleared by QA people to Ricoh printer name 2.
Step 3:
Analyze the condition set under the icon "Analyze" (print control tables).
You can re-check the conditions set by you in the above section. specify the warehouse number, source str type, dest. str type and execute you should be getting the printer name correctly assigned in the earlier section.
Hope the above explanation helps. Pls award points if you feel appropriate.

  • WM: Sort Picking list items (OMLV)

    Hi,
in customizing for WM printout (OMLV) you have the possiblity to use a sort profile and assign it to the print code.
But for some reason the printout is not sorted by source storage bin (VLPLA) although it is set in the profile.
Where in the standard printout (RLVSDR40) is the profile used?
    Cheers
    Mathias

    Hello Mathias,
I have the same problem. First criterion is OK (VLTYP ascending - storage types). But second sort criterion (VLPLA descending - storage bins) is not working - when you would like to see it in SP01 print preview (in my case in Picking List). Did you solve you problem and could you send me your solution?
    Many thanks

  • How to get Delivery Doc Number From Picking List Number?

    Helo All...
How can I get the delivery document numbers from the picking list numbers?
    Thanks

Try using transaction SE16 and table VBFA- subs. doc category Q should give a list of pick list numbers the preceding document is the delivery. Note you may have to go to settings> fields for selection to choose subs doc categ.  so that it appears as a selection.

  • Pick List Will Not Print On Add with SAP B1 2007A

There appears to be a bug with printing pick lists on Add with SAP B1 2007A.  I have replicated the problem with PL03, 06 and 08.
Pick lists will print manually, but if you have them setup to print on add (Administration->System Initialization->Print Preferences), the following error in the log will appear:
Error      Default report not found for current report type; set a default report and try again C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One\SAP Business One.exe PID=6104 TID=1672
I ran a SQL trace and found the problem.  The default Pick List report is set and set correctly in tables RTYP and RDOC.  The problem is that SAP is looking for a RTYP.CODE value of PKL1 (instead of RLR2).  PKL1 does not exist as a code in either 2005 or 2007.  The Pick List document ID is RLR20001.
To confirm this on my demo database, I updated RTYP and set the CODE of RLR2 to PKL1.  Afterwards, when adding a Pick List, it printed without any errors.  I suppose another temporary fix would be to add a new record to the RTYP tabe with a CODE of PKL1 and the default pick list report document ID.

After many hours of inquiring, searching and digging...  There is an obscur SAP Note that says clearly, NOT SUPPORTED.
Best thing I could do, was to keep a server with the same configuration ready to connect to my SAN and take over from the dead server.
So for anyone interested in this topic.  Save you time, search the SAP Notes for Support and high availability.
    Hope that helps others.

  • Error printing pick list from IW32

    Hi all,
When trying to print pick list from transaction IW32, I get this error message:
Express document "Update was terminated" received from author ...
When I checked out this error message in SM13, I found this:
    Transaction code: IW32
    Module name (function): PM_ORDER_PRINT_CONTROL
    Status: Update was terminated
Raise exception: KEY_NOT_FULLY_SPECIFIED (Complete key not entered)
The shop paper (pick list) is customer defined (Z*) under application area O (Maintenance orders). This shop paper is set up to print to a certain printer, P1, and printing other PLM documents on this output device works fine.
Does anyone have an idea what can be causing this error?
All helpful answers will be rewarded.
    Best regards,
    MV

    Hi,
I have tried to print the pick list several times, in development, test, and production systems. It fails with the same error each time.
Do you have any ideas why this error occurs, is there any special IMG activity or PLM configuration that I could check to see if some printer settings are wrong?

  • Printing problem for picking list

    Hi friends,
Whenever we print the picking list of material with batch number. the printing job will bring a extra page with basic form information . it's kind of wasting the paper since the extra page doen not contain any specific picking informations. This issue only happen to picking list with batch number applied material . The extra page won't be printed out once the material is not subjected to batch management. The form style should be script form.
Please kindly advise if you have any suggestions.
    Thanks,
    LG

    Hi,
Assuming printing job is batch job. Normally batch job executes a program (you assign program to the batch job when you configure it) while you create batch jobwhile it is running. If you want the system to check the particular information (take the information if the so and so prerequisits matches if not ignore kind of) during the program execution you can do it with the hlep of a deverloper.
If you want to avoid unnecessary basic ifnormation it can very well be done with the layout changes in SAP script form and the program if necessary.  Make sure you dont need those information as some times it is like a legal information like we see in the company signatures which seems like basic information.

  • Print Picking list for late operation in WO

    Hello Experts,
I am not an expert in PP module, however i have a requirement to be able to generate a picking list automatically in a Work order for the components which are assigned to an operation that will happen in futur.
Let say we have a WO with 8 operations, and the operation 8 will begin 3 months after the release of the WO.
Does SAP manage in standard a printing of pick list for component that will be usd in WO at the last operation?
    Thanks for your help
    Regards

    Hi,
    Thanks for feedback,
As i understand, it is possible to release operation by operation in the work Order ? can you please indicate me how to perform that?
And if it is the case, does it mean after each release the picking list is printed?
As i know there is only one release flag (green) to release all the work order.

  • Printing the Pick List at operation level

    Hi all,
Is  it possible to Print the Pick List at operation level.
Components are assigned  to each operations and release of  production order takes place at operational level. Once operation is released then only relavent component assigned to that particular operation should come in pick list.
Thanks in advance for your time and efforts.

    Hi ,
System will not select the Opertaion which has status CRTD by default.
For further selection please try with below settings. ,
    Profile = std profile
    Production Order Number,
    Selection at Operation level
System status = CRTD  and Actiavte Excl .check box.
Now system will display the pick list for  released operation and it`s component only
Please check, Reward if it is useful.

  • Pick list- Re-print

    hi-
I have already printed a pick list for delivery.
    Accidently the Document got shredded.
I want to print the Pick list again.
    Any suggestions.
Steps: I did go to VL02n and try to use the functionality Picking out at header level, but the area is greyed out and does not give me the option to type EK00 to printout the Pick list again.
    Any suggestions / recommendations!!!

    Hi,
Also If you have configured LL01 report in your system you can take print out of pick list for the unconfirmed transfer orders again. In report you have to set up layout to take bin details.
    Hope this meet your requirment.
    Regards,
    Prashant

  • Pick list print preview

    Hi all,
How can I view the print preview of pick list output type EK00?
When I get to the Picking output from VT02N, it only shows me the status of the output generated.
But I can't see the print preview.
Also can I generate Ek00 output for a delivery manually?
    Thanks,
    Raghu.

I found that I can see the print preview of Picklist using transaction VL06P

  • Printing Picking List in WM

    Hello,
I am facing issue with Printing of Pick list based on WM storage type.
    - I am creating the O/Delivery then creating the 'WM ref group' and then Creates the TO against the Group. System create the TOs based on each Storage type (TO split function) but does not Prints anything automatically (I can print the individual TO manually using LT31)
But If I creating the O/Delivery and Creates the TO against Delivery then System create & prints the TOs based on each Storage type (TO split function).
-Even it is not printing the Pick list based on Storage type while using LT44.
    Please suggest...
