If the no. of invoices are more than one page I need to print original check in the last page and duplicate(VOID) check in the remaining pages.presently I am working with Oracle apps Release 12. This is a standard report, need to be customised.

    2. Then checked at the directory location named : $FORMS_TRACE_DIR and there we see a file generated like this :forms_19136694.trc
But in this file we could only see the generic seeded error messages...why are we not seeing all the message calls showing all the details regards form level trigger , data blocks , values etc for the form What is the timestamp of the file? Have you tried to delete/rename the file, reproduce the issue and see if a new file is generated?
You would need to logout and login again, or bounce the application services (if possible) after doing the necessary configuration steps and before reproducing the issue.
We need to have the FRD & Forms trace generated urgently for an issue...
Could someone please help us as to how a complete FRD & Forms Trace be generated in Oracle Forms in Oracle Apps version R 12.0.6 & what exact steps need to be checked. Please see these docs.

  • Disable duplex printing in Oracle Apps

All our reports from Oracle Apps have been configured to print in duplex mode. But we want to disable this option. I came to know that this can be controlled by Printer Style. Can someone please elaborate on this?
Thanks in advance for any help
    -MS

Thanks Fadi and hsawwan for your replies. Actually it is not defined in the initialization string so it picks up whatever setting is there on the printer. Because we are using a common printer, we wanted to get out of this situation where the type of printing is controlled on the printer's side. Your suggestions helped, and now I am changing the current driver to forcefully print simplex and I am going to create a new driver in which I explicitly specify duplex, and this will be assigned to a new style which will be used only for prints requiring duplex. Is my approach right?
One more clarification I need - after changing the driver, I need to restart the internal concurrent manager from within apps?
    Thanks

  • Adding a printer to Oracle Apps 10.7 NCA

I have a newbie question concerning adding a printer to Oracle
Applications.. I would like to know if there is any special setup required
to make a printer available within the Application, or is it just a matter
of adding the printer to the network?
    Thanks in advance,

    Hi,
You need to register the printer and the path in the description column (for reference)in the system Administration responsibility.
    The navigation is
    Install--> Printer->Register
Once the printer is registered choose the type and attach the style and the driver for that printer.
The print styles will give you the layout on the number of columns and rows to be printed.
The driver will have initialization string which have been defined as default ones but the same can be changed depending on the printer which you are operating (like HP etc.)
You can choose the one which have already been defined or create your own types.
These strings have a bearing on the way the outputs are printed.
Normally all printers whether they are stand alone or network printers are registered.
I hope I have made myself clear.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Raj..

  • Every print by Oracle APPS contains one extra page of banner,...........

    Dear All
We are facing problem in Oralce APPS 11.5.9. When ever we print any report, it always contains one extra page of banner... How can we reomve this extra page of banner from prinintg............This is wasting lot of pages......Can any one help on this........
    Regards

by the way what is PASTA?PASTA is a utility which enables multi-lingual handling by taking advantage of PostScript language. PASTA converts an input content from text format to PostScript format to add the multi-lingual support (Like Arabic PS).
For more information about PASTA, please refer to note: 239196.1
Also do we need to apply your suggested action for every printer??If one driver is used by all printers then it should be done only once. Otherwise, change it for each driver used by each printer.
Also double check the printer spool definition at the OS level, most printers are installed with 'Banner Page' enabled.

  • Integration of Oracle Apps with the Third Party Label Printing Software

    Hi,
I am integrating Oracle Apps R12 with the third party Label Printing Software(Bartender).
For generating the Label, I have to create the XML file in Oracle Apps and with the help of Oracle WMS i have to transfer the XML file to the TCP/IP Port.
Third Party Label Printing Software will pick the file from the TCP/IP Port.
I am not able to find the way to send the XML file generated by the concurrent program to the TCP/IP Port using Oracle WMS.
Below are the few links for Oracle WMS:
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B25284_01/current/acrobat/115wmsug.pdf
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E18727_01/doc.121/e13434/T210618T210847.htm#T210864
    Thanks In Advance..

    Hi,
I assume, i have already setup profile 'WMS: Label Print Mode' to Synchronous - TCP/IP.
Basically, you dont have to create any concurrent program for XML creation, Oracle will do it for you 'out of box'.
Also set 'WMS: Synchronous TCP/IP label request delay' to 100, this is a required step, though none of the documentation talks about it.
if you think that all the requests are not handled correctly, then you will need to increase this delay further.
Lastly, verify that the printer is setup correctly in Oracle (Place where you specify IP Address and port)
    Thanks,
    Hrishikesh

  • Oracle Apps 11i - Pasta Setup for Barcode print in rdf file

    Hi All,
Since last some days i am trying to setup Oracle Apps 11i to print barcode reports (RDF files)  from concurrent manager.
If anybody have any idea about how to configure pasta to print post script files which support barcode, please suggest.
I have already read many documents but not able to do that. In one of pasta document i found that, pasta support two type of TrueType font. One can be used for regular text and second can be used (bold) for barcode printing. But it shows barcode font as a regular font.
