Printing Invoices using T VF03

Hi
I am trying to print invoices using Vf03. I can print most of the invoices (or the numbers that they gave me) but two.
When I enter the number for one of those two and tell it to print from the menu it says on the bottom "output could not be issues"
And if I double click on the error message, it opens up an window saying what might have cuassed the error, but not in detail.
This is what it says
"Output could not be issued
Message no. VF304
Diagnosis
An error occurred while output was being issued. It is possible, for example, that the form to be issued has not been activated or has an error. An error may also have arisen while the data to be issued was being edited.
Procedure
Check possible causes of the problem.
Now it prints othe invoices but these two. These are old invoices and needed to be reprinted.

HI,
Please check the text elements in the smartform.
I mean there will be no error in the form but there may be some problems in the text elements. That too it will be while printing
For eg: if there are three text elements but you have only 2 Boxes to print it ( take it in Main window )
So if for some instances if all the three text elements are getting printed, then it will definitely give you an error like Output cannot be issued.
So you need to confirm these kind of errors also in the form. This will come into picture depending on the data what you are printing in the form.
So please check the othe data which is getting printed with the data which is not getting printed.
When ever " Output not issued ", Please check the text elements mostly. This means it is not finding proper place to print the data.
Some times in a row there will 2 columns. IF you pass 3 rows, then it will be definitely an error.
This is what i faced in 4.6 C Version.
Mostly In higer versions you can have the line and column number in the Text elements when you put them in Templates.

1. Goto VL02N-------> Enter '89877810'.
2. Goto Extras---->select Delievry output--->header
3. Create output type...( Give medium, Partner, out, Funtion) then save...

Using Intuit Quickbooks on Firefox 3 and prints invoices correctly. Updated to FF 5 and invoices print too light.

I use Online Intuit Quickbooks to print invoices. Works fine on FFversion 3. When I update to v. 5, and try to print an invoice, I get a page with a small printer on the top and it tells me to right click on the printer icon below and print. When I do this, I do not get a printed copy of the invoice, but the page giving me the instructions. When I go to the invoice and print, it will print but the lines and shading are so light that I can't use it. So now I have to switch back to FF version 3 but I want to use v. 5. I did check and it is in 32 bit mode. HELP

I have a Mac and an Epson printer. No problem in Safari. But in Firefox, it only prints the first page of a series (plus a thin header on a blank page preceding that page). I have "Paper Handling" set to "print all", but it will not obey. WHA??????

Problem with Bulk printing of invoices using VF31.

Hi,
I tried to give bulk print of invoices using VF31, for around 200+ copies. Printing was going on but suddenly stopped after 50 copies get printed.
Situation is the same even after i retry it.
Can someone advice on the reason please.

I am using this function module LB_BIL_INV_OUTP_READ_PRTDATA to print invoice details.
This FM returns a deep structure, which contains header as well as item data.
But, I am not getting item level pricing data such as condition records etc.
How to get that data?

Print preview using crystal report in SAP B1 is very slow.

Dear all,
I face another problem. Print preview using crystal report in SAP B1 is very slow. Although i have create a layout in AR invoice form and applying the print sequences (ie 4 prints). Does any one know how to print preview fast. Just like in PLD.

Hi,
Basically Crystal report run with SQL statement, I would suggest to do well performance tuning on SQL query / Store Procedure.
Structure your query in DBA manner that will make some how faster such as use ( inner join, less condition,...)..
also if it simple query then use Command in Crystal report rather store Procedure..that make some how Faster your report.

Auto print invoice with delivery notes

I am trying to find a way when we print invoices to have it print the matching delivery note as well. Currently as you are aware you have to do the process in a separate manner which is not satisfactory for us.

hello,
at present,it is not possible to create print flows such printing the delivery note with the invoice etc when you using the internal layout edtitor PLD. As a workaround you could use the Document Printing Option(Sales -A/R / Document Printing) to print a Selection of Documents.

Print Invoice Header Text In Main Window of Smartforms

I want to print Invoice header text in main window of smartform.
There are total 5 columns.
Item Quantity Description UnitPrice Amount
Now what I want is to print header text below Description column, there is a loop on the table in main window.
This header text will be printed only once. This is a standard header text
How to get this?

So please use TABLE instead of LOOP in the table we can prin header, main area, footer.
place the header text in header area in table... i am sure this can resolve it.....

Problems Printing Invoice Duplicate in a network printer

Good Morning.
I'm having a problem in a client, printing Invoices.
Every time I send an invoice to the network printer (HP LaserJet M1522 MFP Series PCL6), in the first page (only in that one) of the duplicate, all the text labels have boxes. But if I send it to the printer directly connected to the pc (HP Laserjet P1505), everything is printed as it should be.
Can anyone help me with this situation, because the client really want to print the invoices to the network printer. Could this be originated by some kind of error with drivers (because I've checked everything in SAP, an it's OK)?

Hi Marta Silva,
The network printer you are using is one of the worst reputation printer in the market. You could try different drivers to see if the problem goes away. Other than that, I don't think there are other solutions.

Print invoices on Canon

Hi, I am new to the oracle world and
I am trying to setup a Canon IR to print invoices. The client is running Oracle8, and the que has been set up on unix already.
I can print from unix fine and I can also print landscape and portait doc.
But using a invoice style, the file just drops.
What type of data is this? Does the print que have to be setup in a special way?
Please help.

you may have a setting on your print jobs that has it on Economy mode. this will reduce your black ink output. This is often times for quick prints or text based documets that don't really need to use too much ink.
Try changing the print settings to the best qualities and the highest output of ink which will slow down your prints but make those black pop again.
this is all just a guess, this question is better suited for a canon or printer forum if you care to show us screen shots of your printer settings are like we might be able to help you but it'll be more drawn out unless someone with your exact model printer comes along with the solution which I'm saying is less likely in these forums but still worth the shot.
I'm willing on helping you but i'd need all the screen shots of the settings you see when you're in print settings

Print invoice duplicates through vf31

Dear all,
Our users (accounting department) need to <u>print many invoice duplicates</u>, by using vf31.
We have several output types defined and that are automatically added to the corresponding invoices according rules below:
- zmp1: printing 1 exemplar on S&D printer only for some customers (customer channel =001 or 002)
- zmp5: printing 3 exemplars on S&D printer only for some customers (customer channel =004)
- zmp2: archiving any invoice / credit memo for all customers
- rd00: sending invoice through EDI for wholesalers.
1) Is it possible for a user to use vf31 tcode, ZMP2 output type and changing device name & archiv mode from "archiving to printing" ?
2) If yes: do you have a user guide or at least which steps shall we follow to change device name & archiv mode from "archiving to printing".
3) If no: shall I create a new output type to answer our need?

Thank you for this answer. Actually I don't know where to check "Processing Mode" option within vf31 (menu ?).
I have the 4th row called "Processing Mode". And I can choose: 1: First processing, 2: Repeat processing, 3: Error processing (everything), 4 Error processing (only new messages). So I choose 2. By executing and printing, I got the printed list of invoices, but not the invoices themselves !
A few precisions:
Sales & Distribution Team is printing every day the whole invoices from D-1. They use vf31 with zmp1 output type for some customers and zmp5 for some other. They don't print at all invoices for wholesalers who receive invoices per EDI. So my problematic is focussed on printing duplicates of invoices on another printer device as defined in zmp1 or zmp5, by changing also amound of exemplars printed, by using the same process for all customers (only zmp2 output type is automatically added to any invoice whatever the customer is ; but zmp2 defined as archiving and not printing !!!). Main question is: <u>Is it possible to change "archiving" to "printing" in vf31 for a specific output type ?</u> and how...
Remark: The sap I am using is customized for my company (maybe also vf31, so that all options are not available ?).

How do I remove "printinvoicesRedirect.jsp and the https file from printed invoices

I am printing invoices and a line of test appears on top and bottom of sheet. Top left reads "printinvoicesRedirect.jsp" - Top right reads "https:// (then adds the website I'm printing from.
The bottom of the sheet prints "1 of xx" and date and time. How do I remove these from my customers invoices?

I'm guessing the page is a PDF, and it is being displayed in the new Firefox 19 PDF Viewer? Unfortunately, there is currently no way to suppress headers and footers in the PDF Viewer without changing Page Setup globally. Sorry your requirement is not clear to me as to whether you require invoice to print or not. Check whether the following note helps you:-
