Printing issue in smartform with output type

Hi ,
I am facing issue while I am taking print from zebra printer.
I am trying to take a print from MB90 but its not coming but its giving status 'processed' and same from the spool, in spool its showing status complete but not giving any printout.
if I m attaching my smartform with another output type which already working for another label(smartform), then its giving print.
So, what I want to know..
Its can be a problem with output type config or from basis side.
Please help.

well i have seen setting are correct but having one issue it doesnt trigger automatically I do it manually from MB90 and rest of the things are correct becaoz i have seen while debug its going correct form from driver program, when i am runniing from MB90 manually .

Print Preview of smartform with device type EPESCP9

Hi all,
I have created a z smartform to print commercial invoice.
I am using dot matrix print Epson FX-2170 to print invoice.
For this printer the device type is EPESCP9.
So I created an output device having device type EPESCP9.
I have assigned the required Format type to the device type and the page format which is assigned in the smarform to the Format type.
But I am not getting any print preview of the invoice when I select this output device.
I am only able to get print preview when I select an ouput device having device type SAPWIN.
Please provide solution to get preview in device type EPESCP9.

Hi,
1.I think You are assigned the Printer details in SPAD.
2.The page format and Printer settings are correctly done ,then it will come.But,the main problem is ,the page format is not supposed to match.Please check that page format in smrtform and Printer settings.
3.If posible see those settings in I18n also.

Copies window printing in VF02/VF03 through output type

Dear Experts,
I have copied the standard smartform of the Invoice into YLB_BIL_INVOICE and i did the modification according to the client's requirement.
In YLB_BIL_INVOICE, i have taken one window type as Copies Window and i have chosen the radio button Original and Copies. In the window I wrote the code for Copies like Original, Factory Copy, Buyer Copy, Triplicate and Marketing Copy based on SFSY-COPYCOUNT checking. I haven't changed the standard program(RLB_INVOICE).
And I have assigned the smartform YLB_BIL_INVOICE and RLB_INVOICE in NACE settings. When I am viewing the print using VF02/VF03 with output type which configured by SD Consultant it is not showing the Copies means if I mention Number of Copies as 4 in print preview it is showing only single Page and when I gave the print with number of copies as 4 Pages are printing 4 copies but the name of the copies is same for all 4 pages like 1st page as Original and 2nd page as Original etc..
I debugged the code and i am getting NAST-ANZAL = 1. in program, I think it should be 4. Please give me some input to resolve this issue?

Where did you give the no of copies as 4? In the message or Print Dialog?
NAST-ANZAL is from message and OUTPUT_OPTIONS-TDCOPIES is from the Print Dialog. For copies window, no of copies is fetched through OUTPUT_OPTIONS-TDCOPIES (or the Print Dialog), thus SFSY-COPYCOUNT is changed accordingly .

WMTA is special msg and doesn't create any print: so you can't find a sapscript or smartform to link to it.
WMTA is a message for delivery, so you can find it by NACE trx or TNAPR table (It's the same): infact here it can find only all messages of logistic modules (SD & MM).
The routine ENTRY of RLAUTA20 is called by WMTA and creates a Transfer Order (for WM, Warehouse Management, module), so if you need to create a print for that msg you need to change prg RLAUTA20,

KE30 decimal not display in quantity column with output type object list

Hi everyone,
I already set number format "0.000" in change form screen but when I execute report with output type object list (ALV) that report don't display decimal in quantities column e.g. 0.470 displayed to 0 .
How can I set number format in output type object list on Transaction code KE30?

Issue in smartform with Chinese logon

Hello all,
I'm facing a strange issue in smartform with chinese logon in Quality server.
In quality server mail generates JUNK values in place of chinese texts in SOST.
In development server its working fine.
I checked through debugging in OTFDATA structure its taking Courier font by default.
While in my development server in ZH logon its taking CNSONG font.

Please follow the rules to output PDF correctly for ZF/ZH language:
(1) workprocess need run under
       ZF/ZH language   (logon with ZF/ZH or switch by set locale)
       codepage 8300/8400 (or compatible codepages)
(2) SAPScript need include ZF/ZH version. Please verify by:
       Go SE71->input SAPScript name, language key ZF/ZH -> display
(3) SAPScript need assign Chinese font for paragraph used to output
     Chinese character
(4) SAPScript need open with ZF/ZH language(OPEN_FORM with ZF/ZH language)

After triggering the output,goto T.Code SOST and process it.
So that e-mail will be triggered immediately.

Consequences of adding and smartform to output type in nace

Dear experts,
I have one doubt . I want to link one smart form to output type EF ie purchase order. When I am saving it system is asking for customizing requests. I am doing this in development system to check the functionality of one smartform. Because we dont have any IDES System to test. Well I want to what are the consequences of adding an smartform to output type in nace. Whether it wil reflect in quality system without transporting the request. After testing can i remove that smartform which is attached to output type EF. Please confirm.

i have maintained a output type for a purchase organisation in MN04, VN partner keep blank , medium 1 for print out and in date time : 4
output device is 'LOCL' "print immediately" and "release after output" are active in communication.
a message type generated when i created a PO, but it is a red light, and processing log is "Error in OPEN_FORM for document xxx".
after checked, custom script from caused this issue, but how to resolve this problem?

The error ME142 can have different causes like missing authorizations
or a terminated connection. Please see SAP notes 397691 and 532251. This note
states that is errors occur when purchasing documents are output, If
errors occur when purchasing documents are output, the system generates
an error message in the message log of the message overview. However,
error message ME142 'Error in OPEN_FORM for document &' contains only
the information that an error occurred and not the error cause. With the
attached source code, the error cause is also displayed in the error
message.

Assigning SMARTFORMS to output types in SPRO

Hi,
I have created a test smartform and smartstyle, generated a function module, and temporarily put some code in a custom "test" program to ensure it is working, and it does (note calling the compiled version of the smartform function module name, by getting it's name from SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME) and all executes correctly.
Could anyone tell me however how I assign the smartform to execute from standard SAP via output type configuration in SPRO in SD as an example. Do we still need to specify a print program name and form routine to execute in configuration, just like SAPscript works ? I notice there is a field available for a smartform name, but then how would "whatever standard SAP is calling the smartform" know what parameters to pass into my generated function module for the smartform ? Also, does this have anything to do with the field "layout module" which is directly above the smartform field ?
Here's what I have tried: I entered the custom Z test program I created, entered the form routine name of this program which simply calls directly the function module for the smartform. (Now the smartform field in configuration is redundant) The standard SAP SAPscript print option window appears when I execute my SD transaction, and then the output option window appears which comes standard with the smartform function module call. As the smartform field in configuration is redundant going this method, I think I am going completely on the wrong route. Can someone help ?

Yes we already have this, and it works with the following issue:-
1) The default output controller window for print options which normally appears for SAPscript pops up.
2) The default output controller window for print options which normally appears for SMARTFORM output (looks slightly different to window in 1) appears also.
IMPORTANT: If I take out the name of the SMARTFORM in the "Smartform text box" it makes no difference and still works as above. This is because my driver/print program and subroutine is calling the function module to call the smartform, so it already knows which smartform to execute.
It is like the standard SD configuration is thinking my print program is for a SAPscript which is why I get both 1 and 2 above. Note: the SMARTFORM does output.

Smartforms PO - output type external send - for purchase order

Dear
I want to define a specific output type for example ZPOM, with medium 'External Send'. The communication Strategy is SMTP (MAIL).
The configuration of the Processing Routine is the following:
Program: - FM06P
Form Routine: ENTRY_MEU
SMARTFORM: Z_MM_PURCHASEORDER.
When we create this mesage in the PO, no mail is send. There is also no processing log available.
Is it possible to use the same smartform with print program that is used for Medium 'Print Output' for medium 'External Send'?

What you need to do is to create in SPAD Output device for E-mail ( in the Host Spool Access Method define M:E-Mail to Receiver/Owner) and then in the 'Print Output' assign this device.

Problem with Output type NEU in PO

hI all,
I would like to have the possibility to send the PO document via mail.
Therefor I changed the smartform and the program as I did it for some other. I tested it and it works.
To do so, I've created a new output type ZNEU by copying the NEU output type.
I've created a new schema including my ZNEU output type in place of the standard NEU.
I inculded the schema I've created for output type ZNEU.
I did all the customizing in the NACE transaction, I've created the condition record for ZNEU in the transaction MN05 on the level 'document type', and also set the communication strategy.
But there is somethin missing, because by creating a PO, the system doesn't set the ZNEU message type in the PO automatically. Looking the protocol, it says that a valid output condition has been found but it is still not set in the PO.
Any idea ? I looking for this problem for hours...

It is a possibility that 'smartform' has formatting error and although it is going to the print program as guided by condition records..
But not assigning the output type with PO document
Can you please do two things:
1. Put a break-point in print program and see if control goes there or not
2. Test the output after adding it in manually in PO

Total pages printed issue in Smartforms

Hi,
I have small issues in Smartforms,
I wm working for Check Printing in Smartforms. Here after printed the various checks i am printing the summary report, here i printede the details of total transactions and total printed pages.
If i have more than once page in single check (like overflow pages) that also need to be calculted in the count.
In the forms i declared &SFSY-FORMPAGES& but its not calculating overflow pages.
Please guide me about this issue.

Print documents from DMS with Output of Billing Document
