Printing Large Converted Document to .pdf file Blurred

I'm attempting to convert a large land surveying file (Carlson Survey 2012 .dwg file) to a .pdf (Acrobat Pro X) file I can share with a client for their project. The file contains survey drawings of several sections of land (11 miles X 8 miles). The file creates to plot on 36 X 48" plotter without a problem but when I increase the viewing size, the labels become too blurred to read. How can I "sharpen" the text and lines when increasing the viewing size to keep text sharp and lines from blurring together?

The bad news: If the information (pixels) isn't there in the PDF, there is no tool to give it higher resolution in Acrobat except recreating the PDF file and choosing a different output setting which creates higher resolution.
It's as if you chose a low resolution when scanning an image. You can't magically make it high resolution. You have to scan it again with different settings.

I am new to the use of the Automator App, but I can tell already that it can very powerful.
I am trying to create the Automator Application described in Mac Life article http://www.maclife.com/article/howtos/how_print_directly_pdf_without_opening_fil e.
The problem that I am having is the when I add the "Print Finder Items" action to the work flow it does not contain the "Print To" option to set the destination to the CUPS-PDF printer.
Can someone tell me if I am doing something wrong or if something needs to be configured to make the "Print To" option visiable with the "Print Finder Items" action in this or any workflow I have tried?

I just double checked and I am in error setting the default printer to CUPS-PDF, did in fact allow for the PDF to be created. My Mistake,
The application still opened and I had to select Print when presented so it still rquires that native program and possibly some interaction (dang ).
It would still be nice to be able to set the destination so you don't have to hard set the default printer, and somehow not have to deal with the native program getting in the way.

Well, I looked for where to delete this but didn't see it.
NEVERMIND; I forced iPhoto to quit and restarted and everything seems fine.
BTW, I did get one thing wrong. When I looked at both iPhoto libraries with FINDER, the active one and the archived one both showed content as far as file size goes.
It was because I was viewing the files through Adobe Bridge that it was showing 0 GB's; for whatever reason.

I have a challenging task in from printing as follows,
By using TC: IW3D we get print preview of PM Order Set (PM Print Program: YIPRJT01), currently the PRT document number prints in the PM Order. Now we have to insert the PRT documents (a PDF file) into the PM Order set rather than printing the PRT document number ( By using TC: IW33 by going OPERTIONAL TAB we will get the PRT document(a PDF file))
The requirement is to retrieve the PRT document (a PDF file) and insert the document in PM order set with out navigating separately by using the TC: IW33.
If you run the script in the print preview we can able to see PM the order set along with the PRT document (a PDF file).

I'm also trying to print PRT document with shop papers and still not able to do so. I selected "P" for print on the control key and it should print but still didn't print.
If I understand it right, I think you are trying to do the same.

To save as a PDF, you do that from Print

Hi, just wanted to add my 2¢
I've been in publishing over 25 years and live in Acrobat for making my final files. Currently with a newspaper.
This is what we do:
• Tool Panes > Print Production Window
• Select CONVERT COLORS
• Midway down under OUTPUT INTENT, check Convert Colors to Output Intent
• In the associated drop down menu, I choose (because I'm printing on newsprint) DOT GAIN 20% – If you're working on better stock, choose a lower dot gain percentage.
• Click OK – this will convert the file
• Save
Note: this affects the file you're working with. Make sure that you use this method on a COPY if you want to retain the original color version.
I think if you compare my method to the Preflight method, you'll see a tighter contrast and better blacks. I've always felt the Preflight method left continuous tones a little muddy.
Now if there was only a way to add that to ACTIONS...!

After you merge the files or combine files ,click on the Page Thumbnails panel on the left hand side.
In the Page Thumbnail panel ,right click and you will get a drop down list .Select the option "Number Pages".
You will see a dialog box with several options .You can renumber the pages from there as per your requirement.

Have you tried triple clicking on your document? Sometimes the conversion can come across as an image.

If Excel works as do other apps, you should be able to tap and hold on the attachment and then select "Open in Excel" in the window that will open. Note that you need to be subscribed to and signed into Office 365 to be able to edit documents in Microsoft's apps.

.PDF Files blurred in InDesign CC 2014. They will still work if I try to do the same in InDesign CC. I prepare the original in microsoft word and save in a sub-directory as a .pdf. I then use the "Place" command to bring it into the document. Why does it work in CC by not in CC 2014?

Is it an InDesign only issue or does the problem exist when you export a PDF from InDesign?
Does it change when you change the display quality to high?
Why do you prepare a PDF in Word for placing in InDesign. Are you aware when trash comes in trash comes out? Place in InDesign text from Word and style it with Paragraph and Character Styles inside InDesign and export from InDesign a correct PDF.

I just downloaded the iText library which allows the generation of pdf files. i'm just wondering if there is a way to print a JFrame into a pdf File, in other words I want that the Jframe which holds all my components to be printed in a pdf file.
anyone has any clue? is it possible at least ?
