Printing Monthly Calendar - Outlook 2010

We upgraded to office 2010. The Admin Staff usually prints our monthly calendar views to whom they report to.
Since the upgrade they are telling me that now the printout is smaller (changed) - and they are asking me if there is a way to print out the monthly view that looks like 2003 version. from their description by default they were able to get more information
on the calendar then they can now.
I just downloaded the calendar print asst. - will this give me some option to achieve this.
Sorry - I know I am vague but I am working with a description given to me like "it just looks different, please fix it"
Thanks - SJMP

Hi,
Outlook 2010 does not have the option to choose not to show other weeks before and after the month when you print a monthly calendar.
You may download calendar print assistant for Outlook to do this:

  • How do I print monthly calendars in iCal 5 with location?

    Hello,
Our office uses iCal to manage our schedule. I cannot get a monthly printout from iCal that displays location information i.e. information entered as location on iCal. Previously on our windows machines we had to use Outlook Calendar Assistant for this (which I still can't understand because this seems to be a very trivial problem, at least to me). The printouts are demanded by some older employees that absolutely need paper versions.
Can I export an iCal file to another program to print my calendar the way I need it? Can I do it from iCal directly? Outlook 2011 isn't an option at the moment because it does not sync with Google Calendars yet. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    With pleasure!
Great to know it worked for you

  • Can iCal print monthly calendar with a 5 day week?

    Hi,
I can get iCal to display a five day week onscreen easily enough, but I would also like to print a monthly calendar showing only the traditional five-day work week. I havent' been able to do that yet. Is there a way to do it?

All I know is that sometimes the paths don't work right--especially if you're using a swc and you use the "+" button to add a path to it instead of the button that looks like a swc icon. It stands to reason that if you change the path, you could fix the problem, especially if moving the project meant you had to set that up again.

  • Cannot Delete Calendar Outlook 2010

We have recently migrated to Outlook 2010 and we no longer have the option to delete a Calendar from the 'My Calendars' section.
When you right click on the calendar the 'Delete Calendar' option is greyed out.  Has anyone seen this issue, and know of a fix/workaround?
    Thanks in advance.
    John

    Hey John,
not sure if you solved this problem as yet but I found the solution.
Here is what worked for me:
I went to live.com and logged into my account.
In the top left had corner I clicked on the drop down arrow next to the Outlook logo, then Calendar
I then clicked on the Settings (Gear) icon beside my name in the top right-hand corner, then Options
Under Options is where I found the calendars i couldn't delete in Outlook (desktop)
I clicked on the calendar I wanted to get rid of and clicked Delete in the taskbar at the top (took awhile for me to notice where the delete button was at) then Delete again in the pop-up.
I went back into Outlook (desktop) and hit F9 (Send/Receive) and the calendar disappeared.
Hope this works for anyone that encounters this problem!

  • Reminders share calendar outlook 2010

    My
    environment is as follows:
    Two mailboxes of exchange 2010
    mailbox 1
    mailbox 2
    I am sharing
    the calendar from Outlook 2010
    mailbox 1
I have delegated permissions on the calendar to the
    mailbox 2
User 1 can see the calendar of the
    mailbox 2
The problem is it does not display shared calendar
    notifications
    I use the option manage
    full access permission exchange
from outlook I use the option
    open additional mailbox opening the
    mailbox 1
        Then see this
    calendar reminders work
my goal is to limit the mailbox 1 to
user 2 cannot send email with
that account and can only display the calendar
    and reminders.

    Hi,
Outlook only supports firing reminders in your own mailbox or default PST file. Therefore, reminders are available only for items stored in the main calendar:
    http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/training/see-and-share-multiple-calendars-RZ001030994.aspx?section=8
With full access mailbox permission, the user has owner permission to the mailbox. So the reminder can be work in shared mailbox as an additional mailbox. But for shared calendar, the reminder can’t be displayed. The reminder added in
the shared calendar can only remind the mailbox owner instead of calendar owner.

  • Can't expand organization calendars Outlook 2010

    Hi There,
We have a user running Outlook 2010 with an Exchange 2007 back end who can not expand their main organisation calendar once it is added to their list of calendars.
I've tried checking their permissions in exchange an AD on the user account and in the relevent security groups. We've also tried an office and calendar re-add just to be thorough.
"This group cannot be opened. For more information, contact your microsoft Exchange Server Administrator"

    Hi,
What does "their main organization" refer to? Is it a Calendar Group in the organization?
Please try to remove the permissions and regrant the permissions to check if it make any difference.
If you mean a calendar group, how many calendars are there in the group? Please note that Outlook 2010 has a limit of 30 calendars selected at any one time. See:
    http://www.outlook-tips.net/tips/tip-745-outlook-2010-and-30-calendars/

  • Printing Monthly Calendar

I want to use iCal to print our monthly church calendars. I can increase the size of the blocks for each day, and insert events, but when I print, the top half of the calendar is taken up by the month, and the calendar itself appears only on the bottom half of the page, with events missing or truncated. I've tried the suggestion to set the 3rd pop-up window on 'print' to 'iCal', but nothing works. Is there any way to print the whole month's events?

Are you printing a "Daily" view, a "Weekly" view or a "Monthly" view? Depending on which format you choose there are various options to alter the printout.
For all of them you can turn off the "legend" and the "mini-months" to help save space.
FYI, if you do print in the monthly view and you have too many events on that day, they may not all show up (I'm not sure what the limit is). If you really have that many events per day, you might consider printing in the weekly format instead.

  • Can't adjust the default time scale when creating a new appointment in Outlook 2010

Good Afternoon, I have found a question on these community boards that propose an issue that I am currently experiencing. The answer; however, was not the solution for me. I used the same name as the original post and will add the original text as it is
    exactly what I am experiencing.
"When creating a new appointment in the month view Outlook 2010, the default time scale or duration is 2 days.  I tried resetting the view, adjusting the time scale, and creating a new profile.  It only seems to happen when creating the appointment
in the Month view.  ???  Day and week view work fine and appointment can be created w the standard 30 minute time scale.  But the time scale in the month view although says 30 mins, it creates appointments in 2 day durations."
This is exactly what happens to the user I am assisting. When in "month view" double clicking the day will bring up a new appointment with the times within the same day. If you click the "new appointment" button in the ribbon it
sets the end time to the following day. This only happens in the month view every other view works as it normally should. I have tried it several times being sure multiple days are not selected. It still gives me an end time for the following day. I have reset
the view, changed the time scale but nothing seems to bring it back to the default same day appointment. Any ideas?
Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

It is a default in Outlook 2010 in month view.  The "time scale" selection is greyed out.  Very frustrating.  Everytime I select "New Appointment," a duration of 1 day is automatically selected; midnight to midnight.  I end up doing
most appointments twice because I forget to change to end date back to the day of the appointment.  "New meeting Request" works fine.  So does "New All Day Event" when you deselect "All Day Event."  I can't see how this default behavior
provides optimal results under any circumstances.  Very frustrating.

I had a similiar problem, with my multiple devices.  I open iTunes and when all devices were connected I went to the info section on each device.  Under info I checked the sync calandars. Under that I click all calanders. I then did the apply in low right. I then did the sync function and it fixed it for me.  You have to do this for each device.
I also checked the device (ipad,Iphone) themselves and change the calander selection to NO Catagory.  Hope this helps.
