  • Print multiple pictures on one page..so frustrating please help

Just trying to print multiple pictures on a single piece of paper. The drop down menu that says "print multiple pictures on page" is grayed out and wont let me select it. I have read thread after thread , watched tutorial after tutorial and nothing addresses this simple command. What am I missing. Thank you in advance for your help

Select the pictures and type Command+P to bring up the Print window. Then click on the Contact Sheet option at the left. You can change the number of photos per page and their size by clicking on the Customize button and the changing the number of columns on the page. The size of each photo will automatically be scaled to fit.
If you want a specific size, then instead of selecting Contact Sheet select a print size. The size you select will determine how many photos of that size you'll get on the paper size selected.

  • How can I print multiple pictures on a single sheet?

Today 3/27/2012 I tried downloading HP software that says it has a new feature that allows printing multiple pictures on a single sheet of photopaper.  The download started and halted at only one square and sat there flashing for hours, meaning it wasn't downloading on my Pavilion desktop computer.  Since it's a new feature (apparently), no wonder no one as yet has asked this question and so I doubt if anyone has the answer.  But, I'll wait to see.

    Welcome to Apple Discussions,
Go to the help menu in iPhoto and type in "contact sheet". One of the results you get should be this one: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=iPhoto/8.0/en/6438.html
Depending on what your end goal is you might find this help menu entry helpful as well: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=iPhoto/8.0/en/18460.html

  • I want to print multiple pictures on 81/2 x 11 sheet of paper

How do I print multiple pictures on an 81/2 x 11 sheetof paper?

There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 9 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
    - What version of iPhoto.
    - What version of the Operating System.
    - Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
    - History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?
    - What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
    - Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.

I don’t think it’s my printer I printed many multiple pictures with my old photoshop 5 with no prblems.  the only reason I bought photoshop 13 was because 5 would not work on my new computer with windows 8.

  • Can I print multiple pictures in multiple custom sizes on the same page?

Hello. I'm trying to print some pictures for a frame. The frame has 4 slots, with two 3.5x5, one 4x6, and one 3x3. I've already changed the sizes and cropped appropriately, but iPhoto seems to resize the pictures to fit the page when I go to print (in N-Up).
Does anyone know how to do this (or if it is possible)? I have Photoshop CS2. Would I be better off trying to do this in CS2?
    Thanks for any help.

    Bizarro:
Welcome to the Apple Discussions. JMEH has suggested the best way to get what you want. Create a blank 8.5 x 11 canvas at the dpi size that your camera produces. Mine Canon gives me 180 dpi. Then, using PS as iPhoto's primary editor, crop the file to the size you want and drag it into the open blank canvas and position it where you want. Just make sure in PS that the dpi is set to 180 (or whatever you choose to use). Once dragged into the blank canvas the changes to the file, i.e. crop, does not have to be saved and you can close that file without making any permanent changes. Do that for each of the photos you want on the blank canvas, arrange and print. When done you can close the canvas without saving for use the next time.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

  • Trouble printing multiple pictures

can anyone help....we are able to set all of the pictures up for multiple printing (doing 3 4x6 on letter size paper), but then when we hit print nothing happens. It doesnt even look like the process is being sent to the printer because nothing comes up in the spool as pending. The orint page just disappears and thats it...thanks for any help

Go to File > Print, and when the dialog box opens, the third drop down menu in the dialog box will say "Copies and Pages". Drop that menu down to the next option which says "Layout". Here, you can select the number of pages per sheet of paper and the orientation, etc. There are a lot of other options in this menu that are worth exploring, like your printer controls and color management controls. It's too bad they are hidden like this, because at first you don't think you have these options, but they are there.

  • Newbie Trying to Print Multiple Pictures

    Hi,
I frequently want to print number of pictures at the same time.
In Windows, I would just browse the folder in Explorer, select the picture(s) to be printed and and either right click or select the print icon at the top.
I've tried to do the same thing on my new Mac, and either I'm getting inconsistent results.
Once or twice I've gotten a print menu and everything was fine.
Usually, only one of the pictures comes up in Preview. I can print that one picture from Preview, but I have to repeat the process for the others.
    Any assistance would be appreciated.

I am not familiar with iMovie 08, but I am with the HD6 version. This is the one that you will be able to download using the link provided by SDMacuser.
You can use iMovie HD6 to combine your clips into a movie that will either play straight through or stop at the end of each clip if you wish. First, import your clips into iMovie to create your new movie project. Add audio, titles, effects, etc., and, if desired, chapter markers. Chapter markers will give you the option to advance to different parts of your movie, like a scene selection menu.
From iMovie Help, *Setting Chapter Markers*:
    To set chapter markers:
Move the playhead to the point at which you want to start a new chapter.
IMPORTANT: You cannot add a chapter marker to the very beginning or end of your movie. (iMovie HD automatically adds an initial chapter marker at the beginning of a movie.) It's also a good idea not to add a chapter marker within a transition, or within one second of a transition or other chapter marker. If you do so, other applications may have trouble recognizing the chapter markers.
Click the Chapters button, and then click Add Marker.
Tip: To quickly add a chapter marker, you can also choose Markers > Add Chapter Marker.
Type a chapter title next to the thumbnail that appears in the Chapters pane.
    Good luck.

  • How can I print multiple photos on the same page from iPhoto?

I want to print multiple pictures on one paper. How can I do that from iPhoto? If I select multiple photos they are printed on separate pages.

Select the photos and click print - select the printer, paper size and print size (be sure that they will physically fit on the paper) and click customize - on the resulting page click on the settings icon - the gear looking thingy at the bottom - and in the selection window set print multiple photos on a page - the preview should reflect this change - and click print again to continue

  • Printing multiple copies of a picture on the same page

In the past I was able to print multiple wallet size pictures on one page. Now with iPhoto 08 there seems no option to do this. It appears that the only way I can do it is to make duplicates and then highlight them to print them. Does anyone know how I can choose a number of copies to be printed on one page?

I am running iPhoto 7.0.2 (341) and I do not see the options that you are describing. I believe I know what you are trying to describe, so let me walk through how I get there. For the record, I am trying to print 5 copies of the same photo in 2x3 size on the same piece of 8x10 photo paper. This article is giving me hope so I hope that someone can reply to this.
-I select the photo, hit the print button
    -Select the 'customize' button
-click the 'settings' button and do not see the choice that you describe. The only options in this dialog are for title font, style and size.
Am I missing something? Did I need to do something prior to this? I am very hopeful for some help.

  • Can I print multiple copies of the same picture on iphoto 9.5

I used to be able to print multiple copies of the same picture on one page using iphoto. There was a customise button when you went through to print and it was there somewhere. I can't see it anymore - maybe since an upgrade. Can anyone see how to do this now?

It's gone. But as a work-around, duplicate your photo (⌘D) to create as many versions as you want copies and select all at once. Then use the "Custom" print layout and set the photo size you want.
After printing, trash the added versions.
