Printing non-address labels

How difficult is it to set up to print on blank labels, with consistency in centering? These are not addresses. Please point me in the right direction on how to do this.

printing features are either in the app themselves and you also have control in the printer dialogue box. You did not indicate what app you are referrng to or even what version of OS X is installed, IOS does not run on Macs as you have indicated. IOS 8.3 is for iPads, iPhones & iPods!

how do i print return address labels of the same address from address book? i can get it to print one, but i need a whole page of labels to use as return address stickers. Thanks for any tips you can offer.

Use a word processor that has templates for Avery labels. Setup one page of labels with your address copied onto each label segment in the document. Save and print using your Avery blank label sheets.
Note that Address Book is not the tool for this. AB is designed to allow you to print a return address on envelopes as you address them to selected entries from your AB or AB can print the addresses of your entries onto an Avery labels' sheet.
A good word processor for the task is Word, but there are probably a number of other choices such as the word processor found in Open Office or NeoOffice (both freeware.)

  • How do I print Avery address labels?

Is there any easy way to print a page of return address labels using standard Avery sizes? Does not appear to be an option in Pages. I can do it in Word, but would rather not use it.

I figured out a way to do this using Address Book without resorting to Word or Print Shop. What I did was select the contact I wanted to use to print return address labels -- the same address printed on a page of 30 Avery labels (8160) -- and drag it to the desktop. I selected the resulting vCard on my desktop, clicked the right mouse button (CTRL+mouse-click if you have a one-button mouse) to get the context menu, and selected "Duplicate." I duplicated this one vCard 28 times. I then imported the 29 vCards back into Address Book, but I chose "Keep Both" when the Duplicates warning asked me what I wanted to do. I made sure to check the box "apply to all." I then selected these 30 contact cards (all of the same contact), and selected "File / Print" from the menu bar. In the Address Book area of the print dialog, I selected "Mailing Labels" from the Style pull-down menu. Then I clicked on the Layout tab and selected Avery standard and 8160.
In order to save myself the trouble of having to do all this over again, I selected Save to PDF from the PDF drop-down menu at the bottom left corner. That way, I can print out these return address labels any time. After all that, I deleted the extra 29 copies of the contact.
I know this wasn't as easy as doing it in Word, but if you don't have Word and don't want to buy extra software, this is how to do it with a standard installation of Mac OS 10.5.

    Print them directly from AddressBook.
It has sophisticated Print settings for formatting and even adding graphics for a wide range of standard label sheets.

  • Looking for: "How to author & print name/address labels"

Hello- I need to find a file or program to author and print name/address
labels. I will be mailing my former high school classmates a "memory booklet"
    from our recent class reunion.

You've already done most, if not all of the work.
Compile AgencyInfo.java into a class file and then you can use it as a bean, as in...
<jsp:useBean name="AgencyList" class="us.wyo.state.dot.aero.beans.AgencyInfo" />Then in that AgencyInfo.java file, create an "initialize" method and move your SQL stuff into it. Back in your JSP file, you'll have something like...
    <select name="desiredAgency" >
    <option><%= AgencyList.getAgencyName( 15 ) %></option>
</select>...the getAgencyName method first checks to see if a resultSet exists. If so, it simply returns the name for agency 15. If the resultSet doesn't exist, then go ahead and call initialize( ) which will execute the SQL squery and get all of the agency names and values.
There are ways to make your code more efficient, but at this point, I'm emphasizing that you probably already know how to implement something like this - you just need to move some of your code around.

  • How to print avery address labels 5160

Sorry but I am not finding the right steps after reading several pieces of advice on this,
and am wondering if this is all different after upgrading to Lion.  I know I simply printed
labels at the holidays, but the types of Avery templates no longer shows up under
address labels on the print "layout" choices.  I do now have Pages, but they don't have
a mailing label option (why???) and I can no longer use Microsoft Word since upgrading
to Lion. Help! Can someone put this in really simple steps for me please?

Pages v5 does not play nice with current Avery label templates in Word format. Pages v5 does not natively perform mail merge without adapting a third-party AppleScript solution.
Labelist 8 is in the OS X App Store for USD $20. It is comprehensive, label software. Download button on their site gives you a free, full functional, 30-day trial. Recommend you consider Labelist over any Pages v5 kludge. Your time has a value.

How do I print return address labels

    Hello madrinky,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
For more information on this, take a look at:
    Contacts: Print contact information
    http://support.apple.com/kb/PH11608
    Mailing labels:
Click Layout and choose a label type from the Page pop-up menu. To set page margins and gutter space between labels, and how many labels to print per page, choose Define Custom.
Click Label and choose the address to print from the Addresses pop-up menu (for example, print a label for each contact’s home address). Use other Label options to specify the print order, include a company for business mailings or a country for international mailings, or add a graphic.
    Best of luck,
    Mario

  • Printing sticky address labels

When using Pages to print address labels on an Avery L7163 label sheet how do I fill a full sheet of 14 labels with the same address?

You may want to try an online program such as Maestro Label Designer or the Avery Design & Print Online.  There is no download required for these programs and they will allow you to easily create a page of the same labels.
You can find the Avery program at:
    http://www.avery.co.uk/avery/en_gb/Templates-%26-Software/Software/Avery-Design- -Print-Online.htm
If you decide to go with OnlineLabels' Maestro Label Designer, you can find it at the link below.  The Avery L7163 has the same layout as product code EU30011 so you should select product code EU30011 when selecting a template.

  • Is there label-making software for printing on address labels?

    Hi all,
I am a science person looking to create labels for some animal stocks.  I have a list of the stock and am wondering if I can use pages or numbers to organize the list and effectivly print out these list onto Avery labels"? Also, can I do it without going through the crazy hassle of formatting this list into those annoying little boxes?  For example, can I put the name and number if the stock into a list format and have it print onto these labels?  Thanks!

  • Can I print avery address labels from a word template on my MX922 and if so where do I load them?

Just bought a Pixma MX922 and was surprised that I can't find any instructions for printing avery mailing labels from my Christmas list word template. I was able to do this on my MP560 which just died, but it had a separate place to feed avery labels into the printer. This is a Canon question and not an Avery question.

Hello. If your current sheets were able to be used with the MP560, you should be able to use them with the MX922.   Please load the sheets in the lower cassette tray.  Ensure that the side you are printing on will be facing down before printing.   This didn't answer your question or issue?
