Printing of CD-Booklet or List of Albums

Anybody an idea, how to change the layout of a CD-Booklet or the List of an Album with iTunes? E.g. choose another font, or more important choose another fontsize? I am afraid this is not possible, but would wish to be more flexible in that area.
Would Acrobat Writer help (I think so, but don't have one)?

Check out The Print Shop 2 for OS X, from Broderbund and Software Mackiev. It has specific support for printing on CD insert kits from Avery and others. Several of the templates include a spine for the edge of a CD case.
If you don't want to pay the high price of the commercial die cut inserts, you can print on plain paper (letter or A4) and use a paper cutter. Inkjet paper sold for brochure printing is particularly nice for front of case booklets because it is photo quality, double sided, and a good weight.
The program will import playlist contents from iTunes (your choice of fields such as title, artist, composer ...), and unlike the iTunes print command you can edit and reformat the result using whatever fonts, colours etc you want. Wide choice of styles for title printing, and for cropping pictures in various shapes. Also support for directly printing on a printable CD or DVD with some Epson or Canon inkjets. What it does not do unfortunately is import cover art automatically, but copy and paste works well.
I've been using this program for over a year, and keep finding new things to do with it. It's also great if you ever want to create certificates or greeting cards.

Printing list of albums

A little background.
I use an imac with 10.6.7 and itunes 10.2.2. I have a large number of audiobooks in mp3 format on an external hard drive. I periodically like to print a list of the audio books using the print album list, list of albums option.
Before the last big itunes updates, when I printed a list of my audiobooks, the printout was 11 pages. After I installed the last update to itunes my printout was 115 pages.
I did a little looking around and I have found that the printout using the print album list, songs by album is 115 pages long.
It appears that itunes is using the the length of the file for the songs by album when printing the list of albums. Any one know how to fix this, or is this an itunes bug?

I'm having the same priting issue with iTunes since the last big update and is still a problem (I use an iMac with 10.6.7 and ITunes 10.3.1). My iTunes music library list printout was 270 pages but now it's 2923 pages! I've been looking online for an answer but can't find anything

How do I get a list of albums ONLY by artist and export to Excel etc? I do not want the songs as generally know the songs on the album.

You can get it directly out of iTunes by the command Print > Album Listing > List of Albums.
Also, if you are good at Excel, you can paste your iTunes library listing into Excel and use the Excel filtering and sorting capabilities to get whatever view you want.

Aquiring a text list of albums from your iTunes Library

Im after a list to post on the net of the albums that are in my iTunes library.
I got over 11000 tracks so I need a fairly quick method.
Is there a way I can get the list? Surely there must be.

All the suggested solutions I have seen here come unstuck for me.
Primarily because in the Library everything is sorted by Artists.
I am trying to Print a list of Albums (so a friend can look through my music and see what ones I have that he had until his kids destroyed his CD collection).
So the sort priority needs to be Album NOT artist and not include the songs. Things get a tad screwed up for me too by having my music on an external HD.

Printing from itunes gives, again, a list based on Artists. THIS is where we need a simple change in Print options.
If I choose to Print the Album by list:

is there a way to print just the to do list from iCal or mail (not events) or to print only calendar dates with entries and the to do list (on the list option) or print to do lists on the side of the monthly calendar??

If you choose the "list" option in View on the print dialog box and uncheck everything at the bottom except "To do items" you may be able to get what you're looking for. It appears that the list includes all todos including those without due dates, so you might have to do something to assign due dates to all your todos and in iCal preferences restrict the visibility of todos outside of a certain date range. Unfortunately, you can't save any of this work into a standard report (at least not that I know of) - the print dialog in iCal starts from scratch every time you invoke it. Hope that helps at least some.

How can I restore my playlist folders in itunes? They are there but the individual song titles aren't listed. They are only listed by album. This makes it very difficult to find songs in my playlist. Also,when I click on music, it will not list options.

It sounds like your issue here is that iTunes can not find the files for some of the songs you have brought into it. This happens occasionally even if the songs have not been moved from the location that iTunes places them on import or purchase. When you try to use the song, iTunes prompts you to find the file, as you have seen.
To find the file, use the information in this article to navigate through the iTunes media folders -

If you are still unable to locate the files, you may need to download them from the iTunes store again, or rip them from your CDs. See this article for assistance with downloading your past purchases -

How can I get my ipod to list the "album artist" instead of "artist" in the music menu, but still show the artist with the featured artist when a song plays?

For example, I am putting Kanye West's album "808's & Heartbreak" on my ipod. The track "Amazing" features Young Jeezy. So in iTunes, I list the track name as "Amazing", the artist as "Kanye West ft. Young Jeezy", the album artist as "Kanye West", and the album as "808's & Heartbreak". What I want is for my iPod to have a list of album artists instead of artists, so that I can find the song "Amazing" under "Kanye West" instead of "Kanye West ft. Young Jeezy" or "808's & Heartbreak".
And when the song plays, it should say:
Amazing
Kanye West ft. Young Jeezy
808's & Heartbreak
Is there a way I can do that? I tried using the "album artist" field thinking it would do what I wanted to do, but it didnt. I also tried using the "sort artist" field and typed "Kanye West" in there, but that didnt work either. I wish iTunes was simpler and easier or atleast CAME WITH A MANUAL. Any help would be greatly appreciated THanks

Have you tried a different pair of earbuds/headphones to rule out a pair of damaged/faulty ones? You might also want to make sure the headphones are securely and firmly seated in Nano's headphone jack. Lastly, check the headphone jack for any signs of debris or damage. You may need to have the headphone jack replaced either by Apple or a third party repair company.
I assume this static is present on any track you listen to versus only particular ones?

Can iTunes show albums just once in list of albums?

For illustration purposes:
If I have just one album in my library by a single artist: In Album grid view, I'd see one album cover as expected. If you double click the cover you'd see the list of songs in that album - all as expected.
If you click list view (upper right) while looking at the one album cover, you expect to see one line of text with the artist's name, and then if more detail is desired, clicking that text line, you'd get the the list of songs.
Not so... iTunes shows all the songs in that album when going from Album grid view (1 album), to Album list view - all songs in that album.
So... being that I have 100's of albums, instead of seeing a list of albums, I see a list of all songs.
It seems that the only way to see all the albums in your library is in the graphic album cover view?
Can't I see just a text listing of all my albums?

I have 553 artists, 1045 albums and 12,045 songs. What I would like is to see a list of just my 553 artists. Instead I see a list of all 12,045 songs sorted by artist/album. This is very unusable way to look at the data. We need a hierachical view.
Since I have 4 AC/DC albums, for example, my list starts out with AC/DC listed under Artist 40 times since there are 4 albums each with 10 tracks.
I would hope there's a way to just show AC/DC once, with an arrow or ability to double click to open this up just like it was a folder in Finder list view.
Doing so would show me 4 AC/DC albums, clicking any of those would show me the tracks for that album.
I want to see by artist:
AC/DC
Aerosmith
Al Green
And then if I open AC/DC:
AC/DC
--Back in Black
--Dirty Deeds
--High Voltage
--Powerage

If I open Back/Black:

There needs to be a way to collapse all the songs down into by albums and down into by artist.

How do I get ITUNES to list my albums correctly?

ITUNES seems to rearrange my albums in a way that's too complicated.
For example, we have a Gwen Stefani album and it lists it twice because there is a song that she had someone sing with her.
Can I get Itunes to ONLY show/list the album regardless if other people are on the album?
Also, it seems to be rearranging song and listing them from last to first.

Look at the right side of the column header you are sorting on. Click the triangle to switch between ascending & descending sort.

Printing delivery note via attachment list

Hi all,
when I print a delivery note in VL02N, it is also archived as PDF in our archive system (SAPERION).
My problem is, that a print from archive via attachment list is different (e.g. different borders) from that, which i printed at first.
Is there any chance to get the same output again?
