Printing of d/l file is in miniature - how do I fix it

How do I get the Huawei mobile user manual I have download to print at full A4 size like on screen? It uses one A4 sheet to print each page of the manual but the effective size is about 3.5 x 2.5 inches. There is no truncation its all there but just in miniature font = about 6 point. Please help.

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

On Windows (don't know about Mac), the latest version will always take over the file association, and become the default for indd files. It's impossible to change it.
But there is a plugin for ID that makes this possible. Never tried it myself.

You're ignoring context. On the old Apple Discussion Groups I never posted replies like that, instead giving people relatively detailed answers. The new Apple Support Communities made things worse by introducing certain inefficiencies. Then came Lion. The flood of messages that came with Lion required a painful choice for any of the people who had been helping here: (1) Give quality responses to a few questions and ignore the rest. People who needed help with Lion problems seemed to have trouble discovering existing message threads that described how to solve their problems. The people helping here are all volunteers. None of them is being paid for the time they spend here. They all have a life outside of Apple Support Communities. It's arrogant of you to demand that people helping here spend more time than they already do.

Hmm . . . comes with a Utility MPEG2 Component ML app with no explanation of what it's for?
The utility app is an "assistant PKG installer." It allows Lion and Mountain Lion users to install the older QT MPEG-2 Playback Component installer PKG file which is not allowed to run on its own under Lion or Mountain Lion since these operating systems already have a QT X only MPEG-2 component embedded in the QT embedded structure. Without this utility you would have to either copy the component from an older system to your Lion or Mountain Lion system, use Pacifist for installation, or manually open the PKG contents and transfer the component to the appropriate component folder.
As to your "discussion" regarding the playback of AVI file types, there are really only two strategies here:
1) You can add component support so that QT can play the files natively or
2) You can convert the file contents to compression formats that are natively compatible with the unmodified QT component configuration.
Each user should decide for his or her own self which approach best suits their needs for a particular source file. In most cases, conforming the system's codec component configuration to play the source file directly results in higher video quality since no transcoding takes place but this strategy will not work if a codec which is required is not available for the user's operating system. On the other hand, converter utilities tend to support more built-in codecs and are easier to use since the user does not have to concern him or herself with the nature of the particular source compression formats but at the risk of some potential loss in visual quality. As to what converter to use, once again this is a matter of personal choice. In the case of commercial converters like iSkysoft, the codecs are built in while MPEG Streamclip accesses the host operating system's QT codec component configuration. I personally prefer the free HandBrake app for AVI, MKV, TS, MTS, and M2TS conversions since it has an exceptionally full-featured X.264 GUI with some user options that 97% of users are likely to never use.

If you did not create this swf yourself then you won't be able to do what I am suggesting. If you did, then open the fla in Flash and go into the Publish Settings and select the option to publish an html file as an output. That will create an html page that embeds the Flash file. Test that file in your browser and see if it plays properly. IF so, then copy that code in place of whatever Dreamweaver did to embed the Flash.
Dreamweaver is not a reliable tool for embedding Flash content... why it does not do it the same way Flash does it is anyone's guess.

My Illustrator file icons don't match what the actual file image is. How can I fix this?

I'm using Illustrator 5.0 with MAC OS 10.8.4 and the Illustrator file icons are different thatn the actual file image. It's using the same image for 5 different files. THey all started out the same, but I edited them and then did a save as, but the file icon image didn't update. How can I fix this? I tried resaving the files and copying the files, but it didn't work.

Are you on CS5 or the very old AI5, which a few vinyl cut shops may have?
Do a save as , and enable PDF Compatible. That usually helps if the icons are blank, but may help you.
If that don't help do a command I on the file, select the icon, and hit the delete key to see if anything happens.

Hello John, Thanks for replying. I have attached the document as a PDF (is this OK). I have been tasked with designing this certificate for my local RSL sub-Branch for our up coming Centenary Of ANZAC commemorations. As most of what I do has been self taught I’m sure there is a simple answer to my problem. I have adobe CS6. This is how I set the document up. I first used the rectangle frame tool then pulled in a photo from Bridge and faded it.I then did the same with the logo. For the text I used the text frame then used the frame tool twice to form the border and adjusted the thickness. Then I set all of the margins and the document to A4 . When the document is printed it shows even borders of 12mm on the top bottom and right side but the left side is 34mm. I hope this makes some sense to you John.

Cut and paste is not recommended, since something can go wrong midstream. It is better to copy the files to their new location on the external drive. Then, make sure they copied successfully. Then make sure they are deleted from their original location. Then empty your recycle bin.
