Printing on HP c8183 from ipad 2

Ipad does not recognize printer while iPhone 5 does

Hi,
Sometimes if your restart your device this helps.
Other things to check would be that there have been no recent wifi password changes that need to be updated on the device and that both the printer and ipad are still connected to the same wifi network.

  • Problem printing scanned PDF document from iPad to HP Photosmart Plus B209a

    Hi,
I'd like to report a problem printing a scanned PDF document from iPad via HP ePrint application to my HP Photosmart Plus B209a printer. The document was sent to the printer without any issue. However, the printer only prints out the
screenshot image in the center of the PDF page, and the image is enlarged and rotated to fit in an A4 paper. The rest of the document is simply ignored by the printer. The document with the problem can be downloaded in the link below:

What could be wrong? Thank you in advance!

    Thanks for the reply.
I received the document from my teacher, so I don't know what program she used to scan it.
I tried to print the document directly from my PC which works fine though, so I guess the document is OK.
My HP printer is an old model which doesn't support eprint or air print, so I used the eprint application on iOS to print the document. I tried both color and black/white which gave me the same result: only the center screenshot image is printed out, and the image is enlarged and rotated to fit an A4 paper, the rest of the document is just ignored.
What do you mean by saving it as a document?

  • Is it possible to print larger than 4x6 from ipad with airprint?

Is it possible to print photos lrger than 4x6 from ipad with airprint?

    Suzie-
It apparently depends on both the Photos program and which printer you have.  My HP D110 only does 4X6, regardless of the paper size.  Others can sense the paper size and adjust automatically.
I suggest you download the free iPad App, HP iPrint Photo.  If it works with your printer, it has the capability of specifying paper size, and lets you change image size and orientation using two fingers.  Some of the other printing Apps like Print n Share can do that, but are not free.

  • Can"t Print on Canon 4880 from Ipad air

I have a Canon 4880 DW Model # NWQ15793 All in One printer and I can not print from from Ipad Air.  I'm told that App store has no downloads that will allow me to print on that particular printer.  Is there an App anywhere trhat i can download which will allow me to use this printer or do I have to go out and bu a printer that supports AirPrint?

You would be better off with an Airprint printer, but check to see if Canon has an app or you can print through your computer using an application like Print Central or Printopia.

  • When I try to print to my HP from Ipad, it says not a valid email address? never happened before

cannot print to my HP eprinter from Ipad--error message says invalid email address.  This has always worked until just recently

    iPhoto Menu ->
    Preferences ->
    Accounts ->
Delete and recreate your email settings.
Alternatively, use Apple's Mail for the job. It has Templates too - and more of them.

  • Cannot print to HP M1212nf from iPad 2 iOS 5.0.1 (9A405)

I have an HP LaserJet M1212nf MFP printer which I cannot print to.
Previously, I have a couple of iPod Touch 4G's that were on iOS 4.2.x and was able to print to it successfully.
Now, for whatever reason, I cannot print to it from my iPod Touch 4G's nor from my new iPad 2.  I just bought the iPad 2 within the last two weeks.  The iPod Touch 4G's and iPad 2 are all on iOS 5.0.1 (9A405).
If I try to print from Safari, I get a "No AirPrint Printers Found" message from both the iPods and iPad.
I have tried to update the HP LaserJet M1212nf with the latest firmware from the HP support site to no avail.  See below link:
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?cc=us&dlc=en&lang=en&lc=en&p roduct=3965849
What puzzles me is that this all used to work with iOS 4.2.x flawlessly with the iPods.  Now mysteriously, it no longer works in iOS 5.0.1 with the iPods. It also does not work with the new iPad.
I wonder if there's anything that I need to configure to get this working again.  I realize that it should be all just "plug-n-play" and AirPrint should all work automatically.  Even before the upgrade to the latest HP firmware, the iPods stopped printing to it after they were upgraded to iOS 5.0.1.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
    Thanks,

Have you tried "FingerPrint" by "Collobos Software" at http://www.collobos.com
You can download the software free for evaluation, only costs $10.00 to purchase if it works for you.

  • Have HP 3050 All-in-One J3610, printing .doc and .docx from ipad with HP Home & Biz is not working

    App starts to show "Processing"
Then sometimes "Rendering " then back to "Processing"
And then after up to 3mins,returns "Could Not Create Print Preview"
Which means can't proceed to Print
But absolutely fine with ,pdf - creates Print Preview instantly - and then Print works.
    Registered OK
Tried turning off router and ipad and starting over
Any help appreciated before I abandon App.

Would you happen to have bluetooth on by chance? Bluetooth is known to interfere with wireless printing from the iPad.
Also let me know a little bit more about your wireless network (router brand, model, security type).
    Thanks,
    -Sean

  • How do I Print eBay shipping labels from iPad

My wife sells on eBay.  She is not a big time seller but sells 20 to 30 items per month.  She does everything from creating the listing to taking the photos for the listing on her iPad Air. The final step is printing out the shipping label, but can't be done on my Epson XP800 because it is set up by eBay to use flash.
is there any way around this?  It's a real shame that we run into this limitation imposed by eBay.....
the epson XP800 is an air print printer and works like a champ with all of our I devices.

  • USB printing through Time Capsule from Ipad or iphone

I connected my printer thru the USB of my Time Capsule, and I can print wirelessly from my iMac, but my iPhone and my iPad do not see the printer. It has to be air printing enable or is there other way to do it?
    Thanks!!

    Hi,
You should also be able to print from your iPad air. Try restarting your ipad air and see if it then shows up in your list of avaialable printers - it's a simple fix that sometimes works.

  • Print with airport express from ipad

I have airport express and i will print with my ipad, but it doesn`t work. Can you help me?

ipad cannot print to USB printer. It has to be airprint.
There is a way around it. Use a printer app like Printopia on the iMac to handle the airprint protocols.
There are several apps available and I don't use it so do a quick google for reviews of the best.

  • Can I print in black only from ipad 2 on a deskjet 3520?

Always prints in what looks like grayscale. Parts of the document are impossible to read. When I print it only allows me to choose double sided and how many copies, no other settings accessible.

    Hi,
Apple's AirPrint does not provide black ink only capabiltities, you may do such a task however using the HP ePrint mobile app.. be aware however that you may only select Black Ink printing for documents (Email / Web / PDF / Office files), such an option will not be listed for Photos.
You may get the app by following these steps:
