Printing options from Detailed scheduling board

Hi All,
HAs anyone found a decend method of printing the Resource chart from the Detailed Schedling board so that the printout looks like the interactive view. Currently when I attemt to print the board it comes out in a tiny font which is useless,
Regards,
Tony

Hi Tony
You can't print the same in one page
It requires running pages
You can do so by adjusting the FIT TO PAGE - may be more than 10 pages. It depends on the period of length of your resources
Once you enter the fit to page, press Ok and then choose Single button on the print layout screen, You can see the content per page there
I tried with big plotter like the one used for printing Engineering Drawings. it got printed
Hope this helps

  • Printing options from word document

I have always been a PC user, but I just got a MacBook Pro, and I cant figure out how to change the printing options from microsoft word. I like to change to lower quality prints for daily work, but the preferences are somehow set to best. I need help!!

Hi @nish123 , and welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand you're having issues printing, I'd like to help!
I have a couple of questions before we get started:
    -What printer are you using?
-Do you have any issues printing from Notepad?
In the meantime, I'd recommend removing the ink cartridges, and performing a power reset.  Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug the printer back in. Ensure you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any sort of surge protector or power bar.
I would also suggest downloading and running the HP Print and Scan Doctor.
Good luck and please let me know the results of your troubleshooting steps. Thank you for posting on the HP Forums!

    thanks a lot!

I ended up finding the answer to my problem. After pointing a client directly at one of the DPS systems, I saw the following error in the logs:
[27/Jul/2009:17:11:47 -0400] - OPERATION  - INFO  - conn=3688 op=4 BIND RESPONSE err=12 msg="The server is not configured to pass through control 1.3.6.1.4.1.42.2.27.8.5.1" etime=0After adding that control OID to the allowed-ldap-controls, I could login via password auth. Adding this control also allowed for password changes to work from a client system.

  • Printing options from different apps

I'd like to print a PDF on front/back of the same paper.  I can do this in preview, since it shows the manual duplex option.  But Preview scrambles some of the text.  The text prints fine from Adobe Reader but it doesn't display the duplex option.
Any ideas of some other program I might be able to use that will correctly print a PDF and display the duplex option?

Adobe Reader should be able to do it. I'm looking at Acrobat Pro and in the Print dialog you can click the Printer button at the bottom and you will get the OS X options for the printer, so if you saw duplexing for your printer in another app you should be able to find it there.
If for some reason you cannot do that there may be an area called Pages to Print, and there you have options to print Odd or Even Pages. I use this to print duplex on printers that don't have the feature built in. First print the Odd pages, then feed the stack back into the printer and print the Even pages on the other side of the stack. Again, this is in Acrobat Pro but I am thinking it should be similar in Adobe Reader.
Basically you should keep an open mind when looking for a print option. This is because print options in the Print dialog can be supplied by three different entities: The application, the printer driver, and the OS. They might name the feature differently and sometimes they override each other, or be hidden in sub-dialogs. If you cannot find a feature under the name you have assumed (e.g., "duplex") keep looking for it under another name.

  • I have a Mac with OS 10 5.8 and a new HP Pro 8500 Premier Printer. When printing, how do I change the print option from photo paper to plain or inkjet? This is a serious problem and HP tells me it is a problem with Firefox, that they are getting several

I used to be able to choose print options with Firefox and now I can't. It forces me to use photo paper when I want only to use plain paper. I do not have this problem with Safari or IE, just firefox. I have an office jet 4500 HP printer

I should add that it's an HP photosmart 4280.I found it online and it shows the Mac 0SX operating system.

  • PSC 1200 Black-and-White Print Option

No matter the program, whenever I go to "print" I am not given the option to print black-and-white.  I use Windows Vista.  Print functionality is fine.  My PSC 1200 will scan and copy black-and-white.  It just is not a print option from any program or from the printer specs.  Does anyone know of a driver update or patch or other solution?

Some tabs are available only when accessing the Printer Properties from the Printers folder; however, the contents of the print settings tabs are the same no matter which way they are accessed.
    From an application
Make changes to the print settings before printing from most applications. To find these options, click File and then click Print . Click Setup or Properties to open the printer properties. Changes made to the print properties from within the application do the following:
Do not modify the system default settings.
The changes are temporary: When the application is closed, the settings revert to the system default settings.
Affect only the application they are made in.
    From the Director software
To change the print settings from the Director software, click Settings , and then click Print Settings . Changes made to the printer properties (settings) from the Director software have the following affects:
    Modify the system default settings.
The settings are permanent and remain in effect until they are modified again.
    Affect all applications.
    From the Printers folder
To change the print settings in the Printers folder, from the Windows desktop, click Start , click Settings and then click Printers. (In Microsoft® Windows XP, click Start, and then click Printers and Faxes .) Right-click the HP all-in-one printer driver and then click Properties .
Changes made to the print settings from the Printer folder have the same affect as those made from the Director software. However, several additional Properties tabs are available and the Services tab is not available. The additional tabs are listed below:

I have the same problem =)
I have fixed this issue using the "app.fs.isFullScreen = true;" statement.
Doing this you don't see toolbar anymore.
You can use "hideToolbarButton" instruction and, maybe, you can obtain a more interesting result.

  • How to print doc from my kindle fire to a hp officejet 6500 wireless printer

I have a kindle fire and a hp officejet 6500 wireless  printer. How do I connect the 2 and print a document that is on my kindle? They are both in the same house

    Hi,
    Please try:
From a supported app, find the Print option from the app's menu, and then tap Print .
Find the option to select your printer. The Kindle device displays a list of printers that are available on the Wi-Fi network.
Find your printer on the Wi-Fi list, and then tap to select it. Once you select the printer, your device remembers the selection.
If your printer is not on the Wi-Fi list or if you want to use the wireless direct connection method instead, find your printer on the Wireless Direct list, and then tap to select it. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the connection. Once your printer is connected, your device remembers the selection.
Make any changes to the available printing options, if desired.
Tap Print to send the print job to the printer.
Pleae note: Only "Fire OS 3.0 (Mojito) devices such as the Kindle Fire HD and Kindle Fire HDX tablets support Printing from Kindle."

  • Print information from a row - Report Builder 3.0 - printer button option?

Does Report Builder have any way of printing information from a row selection onto a page, rather than the whole report?  I don't think it has a print button option when you create the report?

    Hi KittyCat101,
According to your description, you want to select some particular rows when printing the report. Just as you said, there is no such feature in Reporting Services.
To work around this issue, we can create a parameter with the key field value in the report. Then we can print the particular rows based on the selection in the parameter. For more details, please see:
Create a multiple parameter named filter in the report.
Specify Available Values and Default Values from the dataset key field which is acted as filter when printing the report.
Add a filter as below in the tablix:
    Expression: [Key field]
    Operator: In
    Value: [@filter]
When we render the report in report builder, it displays all data. While we can select the particular rows in the drop-down list when we want to print the report.
If there are any other questions, please feel free to ask.

  • How to hide options from InfoView's "Schedule Report Page"?

    Hi,
We are using Business Objects XI R2 InfoView (Java version) to schedule the reports.
Whle schedling the reports, schedule page displays the following option to the users -
    1. When
    2. Database Logon
    3. Filters
    4. Destination
    5. Format
    6. Print Settings
    7. Server Group
    8. Events
    9. Parameters
And I need to display only three options (When, Format and Parameters) to the user and want to hide the rest of the options from the user.
Please let me know how to acheive this using the InfoView (Java version)?
    Thanks,
    Vicky

    Thanks for the reply.
I do not want the user to enter / change the database logon information and other setting of the report. As I set those info using the CMC.
And writing the our own pages using SDK will take lots of efforts and require java professionals for that.
I only need to hide those options please let me know how to hide them.
    Thanks.

  • How to print a selection of pages from a 3000   page PDF without having to scroll two wheels! Also is there a way to set printer options for just black and white? Seems like there is a lot missing here?

I have been using this for school work as much as possible and have come across a problem. With my lack of knowledge for apple it seems as though I can't navigate myself to a easy answer. The problem hits when I am printing pages off of a large document, and I don't want to print the entire document in color but I have no way "that I can find" for a black and white print option...
----- also a larger issue, when printing I need to select 1 page or even 20 pages... The time it takes to use a scroll wheel and the fact if you try and scroll fast sometimes you click off the screen then you have to start scrolling all over again... It seems like you would beagle to input from say page 1224 to 1236.... Instead I have a scroll a wheel? Just doesn't make sense...?
Can someone please help solve this for me!

Yes, that fixed it, thanks! I had no idea they clashed like that. I ruthlessly purged all other tables of contents, and then used Layout > Table of Contents to create a new one, and it worked.
It made more sense after seeing in this thread that table of contents styles are more like presets or entities than styles.
