Printing Original DocTotal on Check Stubs - Calling all PLD pros!

We have at least 2 clients that want to print the Original Document Total on their check stubs. For example, they want it to print:
Original Invoice Amt, Open Total, Discount, Payment.
That way, when you have a $1000 invoice but previously paid $400, that it would read orig: $1000, Balance due: $600, Discount: $0, Payment $600u2026but with Credit memos, it breaks. If youu2019ve put Credit Memo 603 on that check, it actually pulls the original total from INVOICE 603 (the wrong answer). Support told me that thereu2019s nothing wrong with that and itu2019s a system definition! The problem is that you need to add AP Invoice into the PLD report but is joining on OPCH only on DocEntry u2013 not DocEntry and ObjType. So thereu2019s many ways to fix this u2013 change the join, union OPCH and ORPC and get Credit Memo data on there or hide the Original Total if itu2019s not an invoice. But I have no idea how to do any of these.

PLD does not support it but QLD can, Query Layout Design, you must to query your desired output, you can link the tables using the Report Generator.

Very Technical Keynote Question - Calling all experts/pros

Hello All,
I am in the process of building a keynote for a rather large event that will be displayed on one of the largest Hi-Def Screens in the US. We will be having a very large background that will be animated, and coming from a source other than keynote but the material that will be placed over the background we are using Keynote, mainly because it is cheap, effective, and great for what we need to display.
Here is my question. Is there anyway to present the Keynote with a transparent background i.e. so you can view the large (non-keynote) background that will be behind keynote box.
In other words think of a large rectangular screen with a large animated background, over a smaller section of the screen there will be the keynote running in a square over the background. Is it possible to produce the keynote without a white background, and more to the point, a transparent background so that when it is running, you can see the non-keynote background behind the keynote aspect.

As Brain has said, set bkgd colour and key it out (either in software or hardware) is one way to go.
Presumably you are running KN live rather than outputting a .mov. Not sure if keynote .mov exports can generate alpha but certainly keynote objects (.mov, .tiff & .qtz) can have alpha. If generating a movie you could add the alpha in another app.
I'd be doing this in Quartz because it's cheap (free with MacOSX Leopard in Developer Tools), reliable and powerful. Live vision mixing can be done inside Quartz. Other powerful shareware vision/vj tools out there if you search.

Calling all mac pro quad core users

Ive been talking to vetran poster tbirdparis about a problem ive been having that might be isolated to just this model of mac, so my question is...
Is anyone else having issues with their cpu meter running Logic 7.2.x with virtual instruments ?
My problem is this, i can run 40 instances of NI massive on cubase sx 4 macintel version without any issues, however on logic 7.2.3 i can only run 20 instances before cpu meter one goes into meltdown, the crazy thing is the other 3 cpu meters appear not to be useable, as the 1st cpu meter maxes out and does not overspill to the other 3 processors, so in essence my macpro quad core acts as if its working as a single core single processor mac.
This isnt just with Ni plugins either this is with the native logic instruments too.
Anyone else having these issues ?

Anyone know how I could print out a blank checking register from numbers. Seems like it could be simple but my templates all have numbers in them.

Just looking for a way to print off a blank checking account register page or two.
I've never used numbers before and all I have seen is a register with numbers filled in.

Sure. Create a fresh document by choosing the Checking Register template. Select all the cells you want cleared of data/formulas. Press Delete. You can also delete the chart and its accompanying table. Print it. Close it without saving (or save it if you want to have it around to print again later).

the RFC was fine in SE37 and calling by Visual Basic. and in java,when mConnection.setAbapDebug(true), and runing by step and step, was fine too.
if mConnection.setAbapDebug(false) in JAVA, up error in title was displayed.
what cause this error?

Please use Su53 after getting the error and find any authorization is missing for the user..
S_GUI Full Authorization is required..
Since by giving BASIS Authorization its rectificed, then it shud be mostly due to Auth issues only

Print line detail remarks on check stub

Is there any way to print the line detail remarks (CHO1, lineDitails) on the check stub? I can print the Journal Remarks field through the OCHO table, but cannot figure out how to get the line details.

Problem with Stub-Check-Stub in PLD

I'm trying to format the Stub-Check-Stub Print Layout in checks for payment to fit the existing A/P checks a client has. The top stub is fine but the check and second stub print too low. I want to adjust the Height of the repetitiveFooterzer. I changed it from 188 to 168 and now it will not let me change it back. What am I missing here? Also, I cannot make the height of the check section to be greater than 500. Is that possible?

I co-worker of mine suggested that I increase the page height in the document properties and then try to increase the section height. This worked. After I increased the section height back to it's original value I put the page height back to it's original value of 791 as well.

Printing Swing components doesn't work on all printers? Please Help!

I have a really serious problem. I try to print Swing components with the so called PrintUtilities class. The source code can be found here: http://archive.corewebprogramming.com/Chapter15/printing/PrintUtilities.java).
My Swing components are panels (JPanel) including more panels and/or other components like text fields, text areas, combo boxes, radio buttons, check boxes and so on.
On one of my printers (Kyocera mita FS 1010) it works fine. But on other printers (Panasonic DP-2000, HP Deskjet 890 C) the results are weird: Only the first component (independent of the component depth) is printed (and it is every time the same result!).
I don't know whether this is important or not, but all printers I use are installed as network printers.
I have already searched the forum but couldn't find a similar problem.
Can anyone tell me what the problem is and what I can do to solve it?

G85 printer says "remove and check color cartridge"'

My G 85 all in one inkjet printer was working fine until it suddenly displayed "remove and check color cartridge". Now it won't print. I removed both the color and B/W cartridges and cleaned contacts on printer and on cartridges. After re-insertion same message. Removed color cartridge and installed a new color cartridge. Same message is displayed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I see that you are having some issues with an error on printer to Remove and check Cartridges. I have a few different document for you to try. Please click on the following links for Print Cartridge Errors.

What kind of TIFFs? Are they multi-layered, for instance? ACR will not open layered files.

Let me give you a slightly different perspective than everyone else here. You are using an unsecured wireless network, which means that all your network traffic is easily available for viewing by anyone else using that network. That's bad. Very bad, for you, unless you absolutely trust everyone who lives within range of this network. So stop doing it.
As to the Mac not connecting, wireless networking is simply too complex for any reasonable answer without more information. There are many possible error points, and as often as not it's the Mac that can connect and the Windows PC that cannot. Since you can't give us any information about the configuration of the neighbor's network, and can't make any changes to it, we can't do much to help you troubleshoot it.

>Assignment of forms : Set up payment methods per co code for payment transactions(F110_prenum_chck)
