Printing outbound delivery

Hi all,
I've maintained a new output type in the output determination procedure for application V2, and also the condition record,
I'm creating a stock transport order, then a outbound DN,
why is that the output record doesn't appear automatically in the DN output?

When I click determination analysis, it says no analysis log exists. so I don't know what's wrong are there.
Any other method to check ?
(Actually i am configuring the output type so that an EDI is generated after goods issue for replenishement delivery)

Wrong consignor address while printing outbound delivery via VL71

Hi SD Gurus,
Consignor address is printed wronly while printing outbound delivery using VL71 for the first time and its printing correctly when printed using VL03N. User is repeating the output in delivery and the repeated output shows correct consignor address in VL71.Why is the consignor address printed wrongly in the first insatnce ?
Please provide your valuable inputs to solve this.

Hi Rama,
If you are saying that such issue happens only on some of the delivery notes while printing thro' VL71, then it is most likely that the delivery number which has this problem will be in the middle of the delivery documents that prints thro VL71. The only way you can recreate the scenario is to repeatedly print deliveries (may be having atleast 10 deliveries one time) thro' VL71 and check. And it should be the problem of flushing out the variable at some point in the ABAP program.

Print GR slip for GR against an Outbound Delivery

What setting needs to be done?
I donot see the GR slip check box in VL02N which normally exists in MIGO
However, i need to print GR slip for such GRs in VL02N

Print HU label from Outbound delivery using output determination

Hi,
We have a business requirement to print HU labels from outbound delivery. The steps followed are
1) User executes VL02N
2) User clicks on packing
3) Material is entered to pack. HU is automatically generated.
4) After saving the delivery, output message is triggered.
Output determination is as follows
1) An Z output type is created.
2) Form entry and smartform name is assigned to this output type
Issue:
The issue is when the output message is triggered and the code in the form entry is executed, the handling unit (from nast) is not yet committed in the database. Since it is not updated in the database table, we cannot get any handling unit data to be printed.
Any inputs on how to print HU labels using output determination from outbound delivery is appreciated.

Outbound delivery output not re-determined during goods issue?

i'm currently in the process of testing an SAP upgrade from 4.6B to ECC 6.0, and have encountered the following problem: one of our outbound delivery output types (LD00) is supposed to print out at goods issue (which happens in VT02N, by the shipment).
In 4.6B, the output determination procedure correctly triggers at goods issue, however, in 6.0, it doesn't. Re-opening the delivery in VT02n causes the LD00 to be determined after all, but by then it's too late.
Does anyone have the slightest idea why the output determination isn't re-evalutated at goods issue?

Hi,
Perhaps you are using an own VOFM subroutine to do filters if the output works or no. You create this subroutine with tcode VOFM, and after some steps you create an include in a report of SAP (SAPL). You can check if you are setting a VOFM in SM34/VVC_T683_XX_E1 for the output scheme. Sometimes is necesary to run this report to create and activate the report sapl, if no, when the abap call the subrutine, SAP doesn't find (perform * if found)
For VOFM there is a good document in google, format PDF, search it with the string inside vofm ext:pdf.

Outbound delivery without reference and customer-material info record

We use outbound deliveries without reference (L0). Several customers want their own material number printed on the delivery notes.
So we considered using customer material info records. Unfortunately, the customer material number is not copied from the customer material info record into the outbound delivery position.
Do any customizing settings exist that we might have overlooked? Or is this behavior a "feature"? Any hint would be highly appreciated.

I'm now facing the same issue and could need some support. I found some documentation for the USEREXIT_CUST_MATERIAL_READ, but I don't know whether that could be used as a solution.

Output type not created for outbound delivery while using SHMNT05 idoc type

Hi Experts,
Please help me to solve the below issue.
Problem:- I want to to generate an IDOC(using type SHPMNT06) once the PGI is done for an outbound delivery.
Already it is working fine when used DESADV.DESADV01 or DESADV.DELVRY07. But now the output type is not getting created when used SHMNT.SHPMNT06. I have created a separate output type ZPJ7 just as a mirror copy of the earlier output type(ZPJ6) used for DESADV.DELVRY07.
Question:- Is it possible to use idoc SHPMNT06 instead for DESADV01 or DELVRY07? If yes then what are steps to be followed?
The reason why SHPMNT06 idoc is planned:- We have a scenario to send outbound delivery to 3rd party system via XI. If the outbound delivery is for National(Not for Export) and PGI is completed then send the idoc straight forward to XI otherwise DO NOT generate the idoc, but just create the delivery. Collect all the deliveries in a transport and send it in a shipment. The shipment details can be sent using SHPMNT idoc. Now from XI perspective, if we can utlitze the same SHPMNT idoc for the National delivery(1st case) then perhaps this will require less effort. Hence shipment idoc is required to be generated when the delivery is created and PGI is done.
Also it would be great if you can advice some better way to solve above mentioned scenario.

There could be several reasons. Go to the document and in the extras-output check output determination analysis in the processing log.
If the output has been created successfully then you need to see your printer determination. Ask basis to check it up. If the problem is that even the print preview is not coming. Check your communication in the output analysis and ensure LOCL is selected. Any other printer will need to be configured.
If thats done already then check whether you have maintianed the condition record.
If that too is done then check whether your output type has been assigned to the output procedure and that the output type is listed in the procedure.

I did a little test and, within the method CHANGE_DELIVERY_ITEM, itu2019s possible to fill the picking quantity (structure CS_LIPSD) but unfortunately during the save the added information is lost.
This is because the BAdI method is fired too soon and the routine PICKMENGE_BEARBEITEN (SAPFV50P) is not called at all.
The problem is quite complex; even after changing the picking quantities, the picking status still remains open!
The picked quantity is generally filled:
u2022     by printing the picking list
u2022     Warehouse Management by creating a transfer order
u2022     or by manual entry
Otherwise, it is assumed that picking has not yet been initiated and the result is that picked quantity is ignored.
In my opinion itu2019s very difficult to solve your problem using only the BAdI implementation.
I suggest you to propose an alternative solution such as the automatic processing of Picking Output EK00; easy to activate and absolutely standard!!!!!!

Disable auto Pick confirmation for EK00 output - Outbound Delivery

Hello experts,
Need help with Outbound Delivery Picking output typ EK00, I have setup the output type to be triggered automatically upon Delivery creation, It's printing the pick List as desired, But the problem is it's also confirming the Pick quantity automatically. Is there a way to set up this output to just print the PickList and not confirm the Pick Qty ?

Hello Kris,
If you want to deactivate automatic picking confirmation, you have remove condition type WMTA which results in automatic confirmation of picking.
Go to NACE
Application V2
Here output type/ Condition record WMTA needs to be removed.
Also you have reconfigure movement type settings.
SPRO>>LOGISTICS EXECUTION>>WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT>>ACTIVITIES>>TRANSFERS>>DEFINE MOVEMENT TYPES
Execute.
select combination of warehouse number and movement type
ands reset the automatic TO indicator to keep it 'BLANK' in background processing Tab.
With this settings maintained you can stop picking status to 'C' automatically when delivery is cerated.

Outbound delivery was created but deleted

Hello all,
I create an outbound delivery from an order.
SAP's system tells me that the outbound delivery 80002121 was created.
After a short time I receive a message by mail from SAP to inform me of this outbound.
After, when I'm trying to open this outbound, SAP's system tell me that this document doesn't exist...
Somebody can explain to me how change the output for a printer and no mail ?

IN NACE :
I choose Application V2.
1) I choose conditions records LD00 => customer number + partner function "SH" + Medium "1" print out + time "4" send imediatly.
in communication, I choose my printer and check print immediately
2) TCODE V/71, I VERIFY delivery type = "LF" and check the output procedure (=V10000) and output type (=LD00)
3) In NACE, I click on "PROCEDURES" and check Procedure "V10000" and control "LD00". result OK.
4) In NACE, I click on "OUTPUT TYPE", chosse LD00 and display details (sequence = 0005). In partners functions, I've only "Print output".
5) In NACE, I click on "Access sequences", check acces sequence "0005". Access ok and fields ok.
But with this customizing, I always received a sap mail and the outbound delivery isn't saved...???

Adding item level field to field catalog for a PPF for Outbound Delivery

Hi,
We wish to send a method call to an external system at the time of PGI of the Outbound Delivery Order for the combination of Product/Ship To combination.
Since Product is at item level and not in the standard field catalog, I added it to the field catalog in config, defined a new condition table, access sequence, condition type and maintained it in the right Procedure/Maintenance Group (Outbound Delivery).
Then I defined a new Action Definition, with a new method to send the details to the external system, but am confused on what Schedule Condition I should assign to this Action Definition. If I use standard Outbound Delivery Printing Schedule Condition /SCWM/FDO_PRINT, the PPF only triggers when I use the standard condition type 0DDN with the standard Access Sequence (no Product available). However if I use the new condition type (with product) with the same Schedule condition: /SCWM/FDO_PRINT, the PPF does not get triggered. The log in SLG1 simply says Condition is not fulfilled.
Can you please suggest
Do I need to work with my developer on building a new schedule condition which would look at the new condition technique I have condition records for? Or is there a non ABAP way of making this work?
Lastly, if my ODO has 5 items with only 2 products which have condition record, I want the PPF to be triggered 2 times for that Outbound Delivery.

if you want to use a Print Queue other then the ones displayed in your screen shot, then you can define one in the Workcenter 'Application and user management' -> view 'Print Queues'

1. you can run tcode vl10batch to schedule a job with your own variant.
2. alternatively, you can directly schedule a job in SM36 -> program RVV50R10C, variant
When define variant for background delivery creation, please make sure:
- "Select rule" must be set to '2'.
- "F code profile" should be '5001' (Fcodes GET, PREPARE, SAMD should be included.)
<Job for TO creation>
1. Run tcode VL06p with your own varinat -> click button "create TO in background"
2. Alternatively, you can directly define a job in SM36. -> program name WS_MONITOR_OUTB_DEL_PICK.
<Job for printing pick list>
1. run tcode VL70 with your own variant -> goto menu bar / program / execute in background -> then a job is created.
2. Alternatively, you can schedule a job in SM36 -> program SD70AV4A.
