Printing page as it previews with overprint off

When I preview my Document it shows none of the overprinting objects as overprinting. This is actually how I want to print it out on a color laser printer—all knocking out. I understand how to see the preview with the overprint on, but I don't want it to print this way. What do I need to do to get it to print out as I see it without the overprint preview turned on?

Looks like if I Print as Image in the Advanced print dialog I get the print I want—all knocking out. For some reason this works on every other work station in the building with the exception of my station. On my computer when printing out of Acrobat the Advanced Print as Image is greyed out. Anyone know why this would be or how th fix?

Printing page range in document with more than one page #1

I have an insurance application which has 24 pages numbered 1-6 then restarting 1-18. This is not just the page # at the bottom of the page but the page number that Adobe Free Reader is showing. When on the last page the top of the screen shows [18] 24 of 24.
I want to print the first page 5 which works fine when I print current page or a page range. Then I want to print 1-12 of the second section which I have tried printing as 7-18. This gave me the pages numbered 7-18 of the second section. But if I try printing page 1-12 I get 18 pages or 1-6 + 1-12.
Any help would be appriciated.

Change the Preference from using logical pages to physical pages and then select the physical pages.
You should provide unique names for the page numbers when you apply page numbers to the PDF and you need to fix them if you merge PDFs.

Printing page designed in DW gets cut off in IE & FF ~ WHY !!!

Can anyone explain why even if I design the page at 760 px.
[had it at 900 px. originally] when it's opened in the web [IE /
FF] the RIGHT margin gets cut off. WHY?? Should it be set in %%
rather then pixels?
Is there code to guarantee the text will NOT get cut off??

I spoke with Microsoft technical support via phone today. Between us - we seemed to have found the problem.
It's to do with the DPI (the font size) settings in Windows!?
I have mine set to 188% on my Windows Vista mahcine and 200% on my Windows 7 laptop.
From my Printing tests in Internet Explorer 9...
at 100 % DPI – it prints perfectly
at 150% DPI – it prints perfectly
at 200% DPI – the right side of the margin is cut off, and no footer is printed – despite it looking perfect in the Print Preview.
I am using http://uk.msn.com/ as my test print outs.
This indicates when the DPI is changed above 150%, IE9 doesn't print properly – though other browsers like Safari or Firefox do print correctly. This surely has to indicate a bug in either the Windows operating system or Internet Explorer 9?
Microsoft are going to run their own tests and phone me back tomorrow...hopefully with a solution!
Hope this helps any others with the same problem at the moment!
Would be great if HP could provide a soloution asap - surely a tweak to the Printer dirvers will fix the problem?

Check printing: Page break in Preview in PDF template

We ran the the check printing report which had two invoices. We uploaded the data file and trying to view in the preview. But it displays the last invoice only. I created text field and wrote "page_break=yes".
But nothing happens. Can you please help me asap?

How do I send the attachments ? And one more question whenever I add the "BODY_START" and "BODY_END" to the repeating group fields, I cannot view the template in preview mode. It runs for a while and finally the web page expires? Am I doing something wrong ? Please let me know. Appreciate your help.
And one more thing in the preview mode we can only view one check, even though there are multiple checks in the data definition XML.

When you add notations to a PDF document, you need to hit "save" for every page before doing anything else. If you forget to save the changes for each page, they will not re-appear. So, if you save the change, it should then print with your notations.

Printing smartform through spool - preview with boxes, print output without

Hello fellows,
Situation:
I have custom report, which prints custom smartform. Everything works well, but customer basis had implemented some supporstack packages and now the preview of smartform is still ok with frame boxes of windows elements, but when user click on print button, then the print output (hardcopy, or pdf) is without these boxes. Printing is made through LOCL device and spool.
Propositions:
I am just developer and from my point of view, problem is not in smartform or report, but in some basis settings. This is not my field so I need advice, what should I do (check)... ?
Is there same SAP note for these kind of issues?

In SPAD transaaction I changed for LOCL device hostpooll assignment from F: FRONT-END PRINTING to G: FRONT-END PRINTING WITH CONTROLS.
When report call SMARTFORM, sends also control parameters and with these setting print all BOXEs.
But customer wants this setting on F, not for G because of other forms.

My screen background color is off-white & this color comes through on the print page. Page Setup/Print Background is set off. How do I fix this? Problem first popped up with version 6, still there with version 8.0.1

File/Page Setup/Format & Options/Options/Print Background (colors & images): Check box set off.
This setting does not work as my screen background color still comes through on the print preview & the print page.
Is this because the newer Firefox versions have blocked my graphics driver version?

I was only able to print one page and then both my printer and my computer would display an error message about the printer's inability to print. Since then I've been able to resolve my specific problem.
I
1. uninstalled HP from my computer (checked to ensure that my printer was no longer visible in my printers and the HP Utility software was nowhere to be found),
2. grabbed the software/driver update from Aug, 2010,
3. installed the Aug, 2010 update, and my problems seem to have been fixed.

OfficeJet 8600 doesn't print full page range from pdf with Mac OS X

I have an OfficeJet Pro 8600 linked to a Mac with OS X Mavericks
We often need to print a block of pages (say the first 40, or 10-20 out of the middle) out of large pdf documents of 250pg or more. To do so we put in the page range under 'pages' in the print instructions box.
The printer sometimes prints an initial block of pages, then cuts off. If we then try to print the remaining pages, it starts by printing the whole range again, with the ones we already have, and then still cuts off maybe after having done 2-3 more than the first time round. To print the whole range we've eventually had to print the last pages one at a time.
Any suggestions as to why this is happening, and how we can stop it? It happens with documents in Adobe Reader and web pages.

I am not sure what is causing the inconsistency in selected pages not printing, but I'd be happy to help.
Let's reset the printing system, repair disk permissions, re-add the printer using the right driver, and try to scan again.
Reset Printing System
Click the Apple icon (   ), and then click System Preferences.
In the Hardware section, click Print & Fax/Scan. The Print & Fax/Scan dialog box opens.
Right-click (or  Ctrl  +click) in the left panel, and then click Reset printing system…
Click OK to confirm the reset.
Type the correct Name and Password.
Click OK to reset the printing system. The Print & Fax dialog box shows no printer selected
Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer removed can be re-added later by clicking the plus (+) symbol.
Repair Disk Permissions
On the Dock, click Applications, and then click Utilities.
Double-click Disk Utility.
Highlight your hard drive/partition on the left (by default this is "Macintosh HD").
Click the Repair Disk Permissions button at the bottom of the window.
Once the repair is complete, restart the computer and add the printer back.
When you add the printer, please ensure you are using the HP driver.
Select Add other Printer or Scanner
Select the printer you are adding and next to 'Use' you can select the printer driver
I look forward to hearing from you. If the issue remains unresolved, I will post instructions to completely scrub the HP software from the computer and start fresh.

Printing from LinuxMint-17 to HP7525 cuts-off top and bottom of pages, enforced 15mm margins

I am printing a page from my bank (Fidelity), but there is an enforced margin of 15mm at the top and the bottom of the printed page.
This cuts-off most of the form name at the top of the page and the most of the barcode at the bottom of the page.
I find I have to "take screenshot" and import into "gimp". Then crop the page and then print directly from "gimp" to print the entire form. I have tried to teach this to my wife, to no avail. I wish HP would fix the drivers to allow Linux to print inside the margins. There is no problem printing from Windoz XP, but that is using an old hard drive and the computer runs dog slow and is ready to die.
Again, HP please update the linux drivers so my brand new printer will work as it is supposed to.

Google show that you have to cut what you want to print and then paste it into a new app and print from that app.

What is the issue? When printing a 30x42 drawing PDF with 5 pages. The first drawing prints properly, but none of th eothers do. IF I print each separately, by selecting "current page" they print fine. Oh this is for Acrobat XI Standard.
